The Caravan Company 

I unfortunately bought the Caravan Company to the BBC's attention as I'd been left high and dry by them, if you get chance, have a listen to the BBC 3CR investigation into their trading practices/model and how they treat customers who have purchased from them. Although legal, they are very underhand and immoral to say the least. As for the standard of work carried out, appalling! The use of bathroom silicone and woodscrews was prolific and the van still leaked! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Bought our first proper caravan from these and they made the experience very pleasant and stress free. I’m writing this from our first trip in our van and we love it. Can’t thank Steve enough

We had great service from very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The idea of a hand over video was definitely very useful.

Totally dishonest,buyer beware, get an independent inspection

Put a deposit down on a coachman pastiche 460/2 then went to view it on the weekend. Spoke to Steve who took us to view it. He showed us around and explained what features the caravan had. Steve then left us alone to look around. Found Steve very knowledgeable and helpful, he sorted out the paperwork and arranged to have it delivered to site. Very impressed with the whole setup. Would definitely buy from them again.

We purchased our previous caravan from Lee at the caravan company, so was a no brainer to use them again for our latest caravan our sterling continental 645, we had the great pleasure of dealing with Steve on this occasion and he set about finding us the perfect van for us which we absolutely love, from the moment we got to site from the moment we took our pride of joy home, Steve kept us informed from start to finish which was great. Steve and his team even down to the workshop have been brilliant and the after sales is exceptional. Won’t hesitate to use the caravan company again in the future. Even gave the missus a bunch flowers on collection which was lovely gesture. Not to also mention the workshop done a full walk around video showing how everything works which we can refer back to if we need :)

The whole team treat their customers with respect and friendliness. There is no hard sell at all. Please enjoy browsing and asking questions as you wish. The choice is entirely yours. Never have I been in a sales establishment where there was such a relaxed atmosphere. What a great experience buying our caravan from the team.

Bought a caravan from Finedon just before the original lockdown. The wife Was prepping it for the bank holiday weekend and managed to lock the keys inside it, with her bag, phone and the dog. After numerous attempts at breaking in, I rang Matt in Finedon, absolutely brilliant service, yes I have a range of master keys, come and get them, we close in half an hour but don't worry bring them back tomorrow. The keys worked the dog was rescued and the wife was suitably embarrassed, Thank you for all your help.

Fab experience, we only came in last week for a look and today took delivery of our new caravan.We are so pleased with it, no hard sell just helpful hints and tips and friendly advice. Just sold my caravan to the Caravan Company, having to 'retire' due to age! Andrew gave me absolutely excellent advice and help, initially over the phone, and then at their Northampton centre. the whole process was dealt in a very friendly but professional manner. He even suggested a garage that would give an offer on my, now, redundant, tow car. Tea is pretty good as well!

Really helpful and made selling easy for my elderly parents.

We recently part-exchanged our caravan for a newer model. Matt Taylor has helped in an exceptional and generous manner. All staff are very friendly and competent. The sale of was straight forward. We loved it on sight. The pick on the other hand was not good. My husband was bluntly told when we arrived ' your late '. We received no personal handover or walk round. The place wasn't busy. We reported the fact that there was no large table in the van. The van was new, never had an owner. We have been told that the table is now on order. That was a month ago, no update.
We towed our van to site ,set up and got to know our new holiday home.
We found some problems.
Water in the rear locker. This was reported to yourselves. Keep an eye on it and let me know if it gets any worse. Trim missing at the front of the caravan under an over head locker. This was also reported. The radio was missing when we viewed the van. One was fitted, a none DAB. The van should have had a DAB. It's useless. Water pressure is really low at the kitchen sink. Was reported. Look for a kinked pipe came the response. All our cabinetry is blocked in. Impossible. We experienced a acrid smell when we ran the hot water. I emailed this concern, no response. No gas pipe with a brand new caravan. We were told that this was part of the starter pack which we didn't need. Really a brand new van that no one had ever used. The main bed collapsed on us twice. Didn't report this as felt it would be useless as the after care and customer service was absolutely appalling. I cried at that point and really regretted buying the caravan for all the stress it's causing us. I think that the table, DAB radio and the gas pipe were removed and given to other customers when needed and never replaced. Be mindful when you buy.

I contacted the Company following a review on Caravantalk in relation to selling my caravan to a dealer and The Caravan Company came up as highly recommended. Accordingly I contacted this company and spoke to Andrew Scott who took me through the buying/selling process in a friendly, professional manner. A price was offered and agreed subject to inspection which subsequently resulted in a BACS transfer of funds for the previously agreed sum.
Everyone I encountered at The Caravan Company was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A pleasure to recommend.

Brilliant company, we have had 3 caravans from here over the years I think 🤔
1st caravan the wife got a bunch of flowers and van documents came in a nice company bag 🛍️
But I suppose things change over time 😂
Van was not ready at my pick up time of 3pm had to wait another hour or so ...but overall very friendly knowledgeable and helpful... Will use again and again for spares and repairs also ... Colin in the shop is a great bloke ..

Having made a decision to sell our caravan and give up the pastime, we contacted Andrew at the Caravan Company. After accurately describing our outfit, he made us an offer over the telephone, which we accepted. Five days later a company representative arrived, checked the van over to ensure it was as described, a bank transfer for the agreed amount was made to our account at that time and the caravan was taken away. The whole process was remarkably quick and easy and, importantly, handled professionally. Yes, a higher price could have been achieved if part exchanging or selling privately but we did not want the hassle of the latter. Indeed, Andrew was very open about the options.
