Delicious cheese and brilliant customer care

The cheeses were varied in nature, and delicious. A slight hiccup in the delivery - DHL lost the package (you had one job, DHL ...), but Cheesegeek were wonderful - very responsive, and they fixed the problem by immediately sending out a replacement. So, excellent cheese and excellent service.

Part excellent, part rip off

The Jimi selection was excellent as usual but I also ordered some Eastwood cheese which came up as a suggested extra. It cost £10 and was a tiny slither (a bare 100g) of soft cheese which although nice was nothing special and certainly not worth the exorbitant price. When I checked the website, no weight is given for this - an absolute rip off

You're absolutely right that the weight of the Eastwood add-on is currently missing from the website, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We'll be reviewing this as a priority, as it's never our intention to leave customers without the information they need.

Our Eastwood add-on should be supplied as a 150g portion, so I'm very sorry to hear that the piece you received was significantly underweight. It appears that an error was made when the cheese was hand-cut, and I completely understand your disappointment, particularly given the price paid.

Please accept our sincere apologies for this mistake and for falling short of your expectations on this occasion. I've contacted you directly via email to offer a resolution and make things right.

Not the best

I started a subscription, which I was really excited about as me and my husband love cheese. The first order that was due kept being delayed by DHL. Everytime they were due to deliver, I got an email saying it was being delayed. Cheesegeek weren't at fault here but the fact that delivery kept getting delayed was frustrating and went on for well over a week. Cheesegeek said they would refund me some money for the inconvenience and my cheese eventually arrived.

Forward to this month. Firstly the expected delivery date was almost 2 weeks later than it should have been, so it wasn't sent out when it was supposed to have been but again, delays from DHL. This sent me over the edge so I cancelled the subscription and asked for a full refund. I just feel that if you are using a company that is consistently unreliable in delivering your products then change them! The cheese is lovely, the company is lovely but I expected more and a better service if I'm honest.

Always love cheese but was a bit sweaty when it arrived a day late with the ice pack melted on the hottest day of the year.

Unfortunately I was a portion of cheese short in my delivery.
However after informing Cheesegeek the problem was solved and a refund was in my account within a couple of days. Customer service excellent.

Due to a scheduling issue around the Bank Holiday period, we had to adjust the delivery date for your order. We did reach out in advance to let you know and offer an alternative, and as we didn’t hear back, the delivery was rescheduled by one day. We also included a complimentary pack of crackers as a small apology for the inconvenience.

I’m also sorry to hear there have been a few delivery issues along the way. Since moving our fulfilment from London to Edinburgh, we’ve seen a bit more inconsistency with deliveries in some areas, and we’re actively working on improving that.

Delivery didn’t arrive

Our family has used cheese geeks for a number of years and the cheeses are amazing. Unfortunately I had booked a delivery for my son’s birthday a month or so in advance but very disappointed that it arrived a day late due to delivery issues. Not sure I would trust this in future and would likely buy the cheeses locally

Highly recommended, 5⭐️ all round. A return Buyer to the CheeseGeek that specialises in wonderful cheeses & first rate customer care.
