A variety of high quality products at reasonable prices, and a welcoming knowledgeable staff make this a stellar store in Lafayette. I've always had good experiences and valuable guidance. My cats are healthier and happier than ever.

Wonderful place for our family and pup!

Our puppy loves the wonderful people at The Happy Beast and they have helped me with good choices for her dietary needs. She also loves going to the store and being greeting (and greeting) everyone! This is HER store!

Great products and friendly staff! I just adopted a rescue kitty and wanted to give her better food than she had been eating at the overcrowded shelter. She made om-nom-nom noises the first time she ate their natural cat food. She's been here about a month now and has a much better coat and seems much healthier than when she arrived here as a timid, under-appreciated kitty. I'll be back to buy some other flavors for her to try soon!

Helped my cat with IBD, very helpful, accommodating, these guys know their stuff!

I stumbled across the Happy Beast after work one day and the owner personally helped me find the perfect "busy project" for my puppy training class. The next time I came in she remembered who I was and ordered more of my puppy's favorite frozen yogurt!

I stopped in to buy a brush for my new cat and have quickly become a lifelong customer. Natalie, the owner, takes the time to learn about your pet and situation so she can recommend the best products, even if you don't ask her to! Her staff is super friendly and helpful. I had no idea I could put my kitty on a raw diet but she educated me and helped guide me through the process, which ended up being very easy. Definitely recommend!

I have a high-maintenance kitten with severe allergies, and I've been having a hard time finding the right diet. The staff at The Happy Beast understood my struggle, and were able to suggest various options. With they're advice I successfully converted my kitten to a raw diet, and she's much healthier overall. I would absolutely recommend this store to anyone who loves their needy little cat as much as I do.

We adopted a cat from The Humane Society and after a month she would not come out from under the bed for more than 5 minutes. I stopped in the Happy Beast and talked to Natalie. She talked to me about changing my cat's diet to gluten free canned food. In less than 24 hours my cat was coming out from under the bed and hanging out for over an hour at a time. A week later, she is sleeping with my daughter. So thankful that Natalie took the time to talk to me even though I was a first time shopper at her store. THANK YOU!!

I've been a customer with Happy Beast since they opened. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Prices are reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I went to The Happy Beast for the first time today and used their self service dog wash facilities. The area was clean and dry and the tubs were great and easy to use. I appreciated the variety of shampoos offered and the various brushes/combs provided. The towels were great/quick absorbing and I also used the dryer. There were plenty of rubber mats on the ground so it wasn't slippery and my dog seemed quite comfortable there. I will definitely return!

The Happy Beast is a pleasure to shop at. The wide selection of cat food makes getting what my pet needs in one stop possible. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I would recommend the Happy Beast to all pet owners out there.

I have told all my friends about The Happy Beast since going there recently. Over the years, my dog who would rarely eat due to digestive issues . This condition became worse recently. The vet said she was starving herself to death. I just happened to drive by The Happy Beast and stopped in and I shared my dilemma. They seemed genuinely concerned about my dog and suggested I try a certain food for her. She is now a totally different dog. She can't wait to eat and has renewed energy. My daughter and I call it a Thanksgiving miracle. I felt the owners were very knowledgeable and gave me their undivided attention.
