My wife and I have had a very positive experience with International Property Partners managing our apartment in Manchester. As we live outside the UK, having a strong and reliable local team is super important to us.

A special thank you to Pardeep and Natasha for their support with tenancy arrangements, renewals, inspections and the day-to-day administration. They have been approachable and helpful with our questions, and we appreciate their flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile and take care of practical matters that may not be always in their agreed scope.

We also appreciate that they consider the tenant’s needs, helping accommodate reasonable requests and finding practical arrangements that work for both sides.

What we particularly value is the ongoing support beyond simply finding a tenant. Having people we can turn to locally makes managing the apartment from overseas much easier.

Extremely disappointing experience after signing the tenancy

Our experience with International Property Partners has been extremely disappointing, particularly since moving into the property. Before signing the tenancy, communication felt supportive and as though we were being looked after. However, once the tenancy was secured and we had paid over £3,000, that support seemed to disappear completely.

We have only been in the property for one week and have already experienced multiple issues, including a leaking washing machine, extremely stiff and faulty keys, a balcony door that does not properly close or lock, stains in the toilets, orange/discoloured water coming from the showers and issues with the hot water. We have also had concerns regarding WiFi, including being told we would receive one month free, as well as the property being advertised to us with bills included.

The property also has very limited storage, particularly in the bedrooms, with no under-bed storage, and there were no basic household essentials provided. We understand that certain items, such as a microwave, may not be included in the tenancy, but our concerns go far beyond simply requesting additional furniture.

What has been most disappointing is the customer service. When we have raised these issues, we have felt disregarded and spoken to quite rudely. Emails are not being properly answered and certain points are simply ignored while others are selectively addressed. We should not have to repeatedly chase for responses regarding legitimate issues with a property we are paying a significant amount of money to live in.

We understand the phrase “let as seen”, but that should not mean tenants are dismissed when raising concerns about security, maintenance, water, hot water, cleanliness or basic functionality.

Considering the amount we have paid and the fact that we have only been here for a week, we expected a much higher standard of customer service, communication and support. Unfortunately, we currently feel that once the tenancy was signed, we were left to fend for ourselves.

Very disappointing experience so far and, based on our experience, we would strongly encourage prospective tenants to ask detailed questions and ensure everything being promised is confirmed in writing before signing.

moved into the property on the premise that the faults/hazards were to be fixed beforehand, it's been a month since i have moved in and there is loose wiring electrical hazard present and both smoke detectors were faulty so they were left without batteries, been in contact multiple times to see these resolved and the most information i can get is that the aftercare team are still to get back to the agent to arrange a date

Great to work with, very responsive and helpful

International property partners have been managing my apartments for 18 months and have negotiated tenancy renewals, have advised me about the recent changes to legislation and kept me very well informed of all the management requirements regarding my apartments.
Their advice and care has been extraordinarily good, always ahead of the game and have frequently gone beyond their management responsibility.
I have felt very secure having them advise me with all aspects of managing my apartments and have always gone above and beyond that which would be expected.
My grateful thanks to them for their hard work and dedication to me. Often they have sent emails and messages to me well outside normal office hours and answering any questions I have had.
I highly recommend them for any work that deals with apartment management, or any work dealing with advice about the sale or purchase of property. The service provided has been impeccably done. Thanks very much guys, I’m really grateful for your help and advice.

Just completely and utterly incompetent. Didn’t have our flat ready on the agreed date, tried to suggest it was our fault for not delaying the move-in as a result (with less than a days notice whilst I was otherwise homeless), and then just rude and incapable communications from property managers for the rest of our tenancy. Even moving us out they messed up

She answered all of our questions precisely!
