Dissapointing.

Placed 2 orders.

1st Order placed 21st March 2026 - Order arrived but needed to return. Returned successfully but never received the refund.

2nd Order placed 26th March 2026 - Never arrived and not refunded.

Currently £386 out of pocket.

I ordered 3 pendent ceiling lights and…

I ordered 3 pendent ceiling lights and 5 bulbs on 16th March and I’ve still not received the order. I’ve sent numerous emails and have not received a reply as to when I can expect delivery. If I don’t get a reply by Monday 13th apr I will contact my bank and report this as fraud.

I received my reply on mon 13th. We have arrange to cancel the bulbs they weren’t available till June - which will be refunded and the pedants have been despatch and received Tues 14th.

Poor after sales and communication

No reply from CS for weeks then as soon as a charge back is raised you email me straight away! I will not reconsider my review, your unprofessional actions and communication have just reiterated how poor you really are as a business.

Ordered lights, said 10 working day despatch. 14 days went by and nothing. I emailed thier support team with no reply. Tried emailing again a week later...nothing!! I then mentioned them on a Facebook post and finally a response (as its public)! Eventually the following week, 3 weeks after ordering the delivery arrived. Lights look nice but severely let down by their after sales. I would never buy from here again!

Thank you for your feedback. I can see that we have responded via email several times, and we also stated that the order had been held due to there being an inquiry opened by yourself via HSBC. The order was then shipped and as soon as the items were delivered, a bank chargeback was opened to say the items had not been received. As the items have been received, the order will need paying for (our team have contacted you regarding this). Failure to pay for the item will result in a formal Letter Before Action (LBA) which may result in further legal proceedings to recover the debt.

Apologies for long review!

Apologies for long review!
I ordered 2 pendant lights on 17/03/26 and was pleased that they arrived promptly on 21/03. However, I only opened one light and realised it wasn’t the correct size, therefore I immediately replaced back on the original package and arranged a tracked DPD return, after emailing the company for an authorisation number, as per their return policy (which took 3 days for a response). My package was delivered to a neighbouring location on 31/03/26 (proof of delivery tracked on DPD). As the return was delivered within working hours I can only assume there was nobody to accept it from The Lighting Vault. I emailed the company to ask for confirmation of my return on 01/04/26 but to date have had no response. I did however, receive a request to provide a review. When I gave a one star I received an automated option to contact Andrew Hellewell, therefore I emailed him after the Easter holidays on Tuesday 7th April and received an out of office, indicating a return to work on the 7th April. I was expecting a response in 2-3days but still have had no communication to date (11th April). I am increasing concerned that I won’t see the £176 I paid. I don’t normally write reviews such as this, however it is worrying when a company that advertises ‘from our family to yours’ behaves in such a way - unless of course they are the errant black sheep! Fingers crossed I get a response after this review - as I was heartened to see that they do seem to respond to them on this forum.

I have taken a look at your email with the proof of delivery information you sent which states the parcel was delivered to the incorrect address on 31st March. Until items are received by ourselves, we are unable to process refunds. When an order arrives back to us, an automated email is sent to confirm the receipt of goods and a refund is processed within 14 days. As we have not received the order back, this is why you have not received this communication. We please kindly ask you to join us over on our live web chat to discuss this further and assist us with locating the parcel, or this will need to be rectified by the courier you used.

The prices are absolutely amazing. I also got the delivery wrong. I thought it said delivered within 10 days but it said 10 working days which really worried me as won't be delivered in time for the electrician. I spoke to someone on chat live and they said they will get it sent tomorrow to be delivered next day. Thank you sooo much you are a god send 🙏

Shocking experience

Ordered lights in December told her we’re out of stock middle of Jan and they would be back in stock in March as the lights would not be back in stock. I requested a refund still now refund now contact stay away.

Apologies that the container with these on was further delayed. We sent a returns label for the x2 lights you have to be returned to us and these were received and the entire order was refunded back to the original payment method. I can see we sent your refund information/screenshots via our web chat.
Apologies that the x2 lights were delayed longer than expected and for any inconvenience caused by this.

Hours no one ever did bad customer service ,then said lights were on the way and we would hear when they would arrive again nothing have finally received

Avoid this company

I bought 2 lights, it took 4 weeks for them to arrive in what was battered packaging. Upon opening the boxes they turned out to be the wrong colour.

I made a request to return the lights which was accepted, the lights were returned via a return label provided by the company. The CS team confirmed receipt of the returned lights within 14 days. Under their policy they were meant to refund me within 14 days of receipt of the return, however it then took another 2 months of emails with little response for me to finally dispute the transaction with my bank to return my funds. I would strongly avoid purchasing from this company, little way of contacting them, they have an unmanned CS number which is just a message. Everything is handled over email which isn't helpful and no resolution or refund provided. Sharks.

Update: It is not a duplicate, the first review is your poor response times - I see it doesnt take you as long to reply to reviews as it does to reply to customers! And, this has not been resolved, being told by you to contact my bank is not resolving and my bank has told me the refund has not arrived. I have opened a dispute with them to deal with you directly. I stand by both my reviews in terms of your customer service and your unwillingness to refund your customers.

returned my items (which took a long time to arrive) in the original packaging and only 1 lampshade opened as I knew immediately it didnt match the picture and description on site. The return arrived with them on 17,02, I heard nothing, I chased and 5 days later got told it hadnt arrived. Unlucky I had a GPS tracker and photo of the return on their site and an email from Evri which I provided, again, days later on 02.03 was told they had processed my refund which would take up to 14 days but would be quicker. Now over 14 days no money back. I chased them on 12.03 no reply - went on chat 2 days on the bounce and was told take it up with your bank. I have, with my CC provider - they confirmed no refund has been sent and IVe opened a dispute. In the meantime Im out of pocket £221! Absolutely disgusting, clearly a scam company AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Thieves!

Thieves!! I bought a light off them waited weeks for it, I wanted to return it, took ages for them to sort it, sent it back then said they hadn’t received it!!! £425 down opened a dispute and after 4 month got my money back, don’t bother with these people they would of happily left with with no light and no refund!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!

I ordered two Marble Rings on Stands…

I ordered two Marble Rings on Stands from The Lighting Vault on 9th February and still have not received them. I have emailed several times requesting an update but have had no response.
Very disappointing customer service and lack of communication. I would strongly advise others to avoid ordering from this online shop until they improve their service.

Don’t buy from this company. The products come directly from China so take weeks to arrive and the quality of the product is poor.

Avoid - awful customer service

Ordered from this company despite reading some negative reviews. That was a mistake. The items ordered took an age to arrive but the really annoying thing was the lack of contact and responses to emails. I should have known when they don’t give an address or a phone number but sadly I didn’t. There are lots of good on line sellers out there but this company, based on my experience, is not one of them. My advice would be to avoid them like the plague. Read the reviews and make an informed choice
