The first time I used the Light up Hub I went from a 7 in Language to a 9 in my latest exam!! The same story in lit, I was on a 6 and it’s helped me get a 7!! Cannot be happier!

Absolutely amazing
Incredible analysis that includes everything you could possibly need, with so many points for each quote and model answers! So helpful for someone aiming for a 9.

Very helpful for gcse English the last minute revision is amazing with the marking element the lessons are very detailed and helpful.

My son signed up, but clicked the wrong button and ended up buying the Macbeth Grade Booster rather than the full English Grade Booster. Fair enough, his fault, but thelightuphub offer a full refund within 14 days so all good. He cancelled and thelightuphub replied accepting this - still all good. But then he tried to buy the full English Grade Booster.... but it didn't appear on the left as to buy because he'd previously bought the Macbeth booster. OK - website glitsch... fair enough, so I tried contacting them on his behalf. Chatbot was no use so tried the email address - this was hopeless because it just directs you to the chatbot! They are basically uncontactable so if your issue doesn't fit something the chatbot can solve you are stuck :((((( Really poor. Companies taking money from people must surely offer some form of human contact if things go wrong.

Honestly THE BIGGEST game changer...I got the Lightuphub the night before my English Literature mock and I was stuck at a grade 6- since the start of year 10 and i jumped to a grade 8+ STRAIGHT AWAY in my Year 11 mocks I'm still in shock its such an affordable platform and its so easily accessible I feel like its honestly one of the best purchases I have ever made! Seriously recommend to people who wholeheartedly want to get their grades up for GCSEs!!

So much high-level analysis, so easy to navigate and overall the best website to help with english lit. I went from a 3 in y10 to a 7 at the start of y11 by using the videos and making flashcards from them, so so helpful and i would recommend to anyone. However, my only warning is do not think that this alone will boost your grade alone, you still need to put a lot of effort into the subject, especially if it doesn’t come naturally to you (like myself).

I give this a three stars. I was really looking forward to using the light up hub and boosting my grades quickly as i was promised. Many people who have recommended the Light Up hub are most often than not talking about their experiences on the older version. This newer version was definitely not ready for release. I experienced multiple glitches where i cannot go past the content after 17%, or where the content for quotes are mixed up. For example, for a quote i did for Macduff all of a sudden turned into Banquo analysis. The analysis is really good so it is unfortunate there were many flaws which made it difficult to navigate and for this reason i will no longer be using it for the final stretch until GCSEs

Ridiculously expensive. Grades should'nt just be bought by people who can afford it. Its not fair to be disadvantaged through no fault of your own and it should'nt be encouraged. Please please make it cheaper its not fair.

they said they had grade 9 essay plans and so many other thigns but they didnt !! I spent so much moeny on it and i really regret thiss .

I’ve used this website for two years now and I definitely recommend it because they have A-level standard analysis, amazing explanations, ambitious vocabulary and all the quotes.

But there are minor flaws to this - some of the WOW ideas seem very unnecessary - do not get me wrong because the ones in A Christmas Carol are astonishing but some in An Inspector Calls need more clarity and refinement - and some are very unnecessary.

Furthermore, sometimes they do not have quotes from the entirety of the play/novel. E.g. In An Inspector Calls, they only have quite until Act 3. And this limits marks in an essay.

Additionally, the removal of live lessons that were catered to support and actively help students threw me of.

Overall, I do recommend it but this year, they oversimplified some of the content and dumbed it down so I’m not too sure anymore.

i signed ypy my daughter last year on a £50 per month subscription... them a few month ago I saw that they have rediced the price to about £12 - i tried to cacel on 2 occasions sending messages etc but they continued taking the payment... then i had to cancel the payment with my bank! have subsequently signed up and paid for 3 months accewss for abour £36 and asked them to reinstate my daughters account - no response - so she now needs to use my log in details so that she can use the unlocked resourses.

There has been lots of missing and some wrong content (videos not matching the quotes etc) that I have raised to your team since the beginning of the year in January. Yet it's coming to the end of March and my GCSEs are a month away, the problems are still unsolved. I have tried to contact your team such as Cei and Cathy, both of them said they were escalating the issues to their tech team, but nothing has changed - at all! This is already upsetting, but what makes it even worse is the auto-ending of the conversations, when the issues still remain. I had to go through the same process of asking Lumi AI to direct me to one of your team members multiple times, which is really frustrating. I appreciate all the videos and content you have provided as they have been really useful, and which I think has boosted my grade. However, as I have paid so much for this, I hope that my issues are fixed quite literally as soon as possible, as my GCSEs are not that far away. I hope I can introduce this wonderful website to more people, but that would only be the case if all the issues on my account are FULLY SOLVED. Thank you.

Boosted my grades however, is not how it is marketed with the video lessons questions ect sometimes things don’t match up.

In my recent mocks went from a grade 6 to 2 marks off of a grade 9!

So concise, amazing detail, and very easy to use. Pleasing to the eye, but also easy to follow, and is accessible with great explanations for all ideas

Consistently the reason why I have managed to succeed in English. I depend so much that when I haven’t revised for my mocks, I quickly log on the lightuphub because I know that it has my back. Such excellent grade 9 analysis across all topics, especially for worlds and lives (knowing that there are barely any (good) resources) and would definitely recommend it to anyone aiming to reach their full potential.

I managed to jump one grade above from 3 to 4 in both English Language and Literature. Aaliyah and her team are GOATS literally. I'm aiming for a 7 or 8 in both Lang and Lit. It really has helped me for last 5 months.
