The Little Explorers’ Journal is a fun, story-driven digital magazine that helps kids learn about the world without feeling like they’re “doing school.” Each month, we dive into a new country through a fast-paced Intrepid Explorers adventure, where Archie and his friends crack codes, solve mysteries, protect animals, and uncover cool bits of history and science along the way. Every issue is packed with mini lessons, quizzes, puzzles, crafts, “crack-the-code” challenges, animal trading cards, culture spotlights, recipes, and hands-on activities that bring each place to life. Kids might learn about the midnight sun, bake a traditional treat, build a simple craft, explore a famous invention, or discover a rare animal, all in one issue. We created the magazine for busy homeschooling parents who want geography, history, culture, and science to feel exciting, not overwhelming. Everything is ready to use, easy to print, and designed to grab kids’ attention from the first page. Whether your child loves stories, animals, food, crafts, or solving mysteries, The Little Explorers’ Journal turns learning about new countries into a monthly adventure. It’s engaging, educational, and genuinely fun, helping kids see the world with curiosity, confidence, and a sense of wonder.

We absolutely love The Little…
We absolutely love The Little Explorers’ Journal! 🌍✨
The resources are so engaging, beautifully designed, and make learning about different countries and cultures genuinely exciting for kids. My kid especially loved the activities, quizzes, and adventure-style stories — they were learning without even realising it.
As a parent, I really appreciate how easy everything is to use and how much time it saves me planning educational activities. It’s the perfect mix of fun and learning. Highly recommend for families wanting to spark curiosity and make geography and culture come alive!
Amazing resources for our world studies
We’ve already purchased the Egypt, Finland, and Japan magazines, and my boys are absolutely loving exploring these countries alongside the Intrepid Explorers. We’ve also pre-ordered the Mexico and Galápagos issues and can’t wait for them to be released!
Each magazine is beautifully illustrated, and the mission-style adventures make learning about different countries so exciting and engaging for kids. We especially love how the activities weave in maths naturally, along with all the crafts, puzzles, and action-packed adventure stories.
After five years of homeschooling, these are honestly some of the best educational resources we’ve ever come across.

We recently purchased the Egypt magazine for our children to try. We love it so much that we will purchasing all of the other country magazines. The layout is eye catching and appealing to children, no more boring geography lessons for us now that we have found these magazines. Absolutely love these resources
Absolutely love these resources. 10 year old homeschooler finds the bits of information with some visuals easier to digest and a lot more interesting. Great for learning about the world around them. Definitely recommend.
Excellent educational resource for families
We have started using the free resources on The Little Explorers Journal for our homeschooled kids ages 4, 6 and 10. We started with Antarctica and sat together working through the module. Everybody stayed engaged, they all loved the quiz at the end and of course made it into a competition as only siblings do. There was so much info for them, and they have since enjoyed them doing their own research on different penguin species and other sea life that can be found in Antarctica. I highly recommend this resource for all families looking for a bit of history/geography/culture etc. We can't wait to start on our next country, Mums homeland, New Zealand.
All articles are always so interesting…
All articles are always so interesting and informative. My husband and I homeschool our 11 year old daughter. We have since prep and this is the best resource we have come across in our 7 years of researching. Not only is she learning but we are as well. Thank You for sharing all of this.
Fantastic Hub
I do homeschool and have found this site to be absolutely amazing. It has all the information about countries in the world, and you can download what lesson you want to teach your child. I have a 14-year-old boy who has a learning disability, and he needs to learn at grade 2/3 level. This suits his needs and he is able to understand how it is written and there's lots of pictures which he loves. All the countries are written up for you, so it takes a lot of pressure off me when trying to do lessons. Fantastic learning for our boy.
Great resource for History and Geography
Its a fun way for children to learn different cultures and places. My kids loved it a lot.
Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏

I can only imagine how much work is going into creating these unit studies! My 2 girls 10 & 7 absolutely love the unit studies, they are fun, engaging and interactive keeping the girls focused and curious! But be warned they will ask for more! I love it! We have done Finland and Japan and are about to do Egypt. We all love travelling and learning about our amazing world! 🌎 thank you for creating these!
Wow what a find 🌟
I'm so happy we found this beautiful site, wow what an adventure and my daughter who's 12 is Absolutely loving the style of learning and gaining so much information and retaining it, which is not always the case when "learning"as such
We've purchased 3 now and each one is unique and special and something we can travel with and do whenever or wherever.
The different pages of different info and games oh and crack the code was certainly a favourite of ours, thank you again such amazing value for money and we will keep coming back x
All my 3 kids loved it
I ordered the Finland issue and even pre-ordered the Japan and Mexico ones as they all looked amazing and now that we’ve finished Finland, I’m so glad we did. My oldest didn’t want to stop (which honestly never happens 😅).
We learned so much about Finland and genuinely loved working through the stories and activities together, especially the Crack the Code activity, which was a huge hit.
Highly recommend if you want to teach your kids about other countries/cultures.
We’ve just found the Little Explorers’…
We’ve just found the Little Explorers’ Journal and my daughter did all of the units in a week! She had a lot of fun and learnt so many things. I love the concept as it makes it fun for kids to learn about other countries. And of course it saves us parents time which we really need as a homeschooling family!
I love these resources
I love these resources! I am always excited to see which country will be covered next. Really well done.
The resources are great.
The resources are great.
Well written and set out. Engaging, fun and easy for kids to get into. Has made history and geography much easier to do. Saves me a lot of time building and researching the resources myself. I cannot thank Christelle enough for the resources she has created, the feed back she has actively searched out to improve them and her constant detail to attention.
The added fun stories make it that much better for the kids as well.
My kids read it together and have a ball doing the quizzes at the end of the information. They love telling people the facts they have learned.
Very well written and engaging
Very well written and engaging! Both my daughter and myself have learned so much!! Highly recommend!!

Such a great resource for families!
The best part? The information is presented in a variety of ways, all of which are fun and engaging. So many topics are covered from a curriculum point of view. Congratulations on creating such a worthwhile resource for us all!!!
Great resources for my kids
Great resources for my kids! We’ve done the Mexico, Japan and Australia short units so far and recently did the Finland country unit and my kids enjoyed them all very much.
What the kids like is that there are little adventure stories with the Intrepid Explorers and plenty of fun activities in each resource and for me this is a fantastic way for them to learn about a country. It saves me a lot of time in research and preparation and gives us a great starting point if we then want to expand on a specific topic. Definitely recommend!
Amazing resources
