I only placed a star because there is nothing below. My wife hired LuxNomads back in August 2025 for them to handle our immigration process to Spain. We are both bilingual, have friends and family in Spain and because we have both such a busy life, we thought we would hire LuxNomads to handle the pains and aches with Spanish bureaucracy.

We paid LuxNomads $2500 deposit, but decided not to move forward with their services because we decided to become expats in the Caribbean instead.

Since, we didn’t move forward with the LuxNomads services, we asked for a refund. Both parties signed a refund agreement for $2250 in a legal document in January 2026. It is already May 2026 and no refund received. When I ask to escalate the matter with Accounts Payable, there is no Accounts Payables, there is no legal department to serve a collection letter, there is no one behind the helm. NOTHING❗️department, there is nobody picking up the phone. In essence, this is a GHOST company in the United States.

To make matters worse, I watched a video today in YouTube from Michelle Garabito stating “Paul and I leaving the U.S for Good in 2026” in addition, on an another Instagram post from Michelle Garabito saying they both left Spain and now they are scamming people to move to Croatia. 🇭🇷 UNBELIEVABLE!!!

These two don’t have any qualms to take your money and run. If you need to migrate any where in the world, all you have to do is contact the Embassy of the target country. Embassies will share official step by step. Don’t take a shortcut like I did. 😡

‼️LuxNomads is a SCAM‼️ They created a few success stories from a few high paying clients that have paid $10,000 and $15,000 each to create the poster child for their operations.

LuxNomads operates from Michelle Garabito Instagram account by she selling the idea that once you move to Spain all your problems will be solved. This is far from the truth. She has an oiled Scammers machine already in place.

LuxNomads requires payment upfront, but when one tries to contact them, the phone from the Sales REP I spoke with went dead.
I soon realized I was ghosted. The company doesn’t have a main phone number, it doesn’t have supervisors, No Google Reviews, NO Reputable website with Main Phone Numbers as is customary in solid organizations. LuxNomads is only registered in paper in Arizona. Michelle Garabito boasts she has a team, but each employee is another scam artist, they are all 1099 employees securing the gang gets paid to disappear with your money. The company doesn’t have any structure. It only exists on a Instagram account. The address used in ORO Valley, AZ is an empty building. Furthermore, Your money and mine support the lavish life that Michelle Garabito portraits by traveling all over Europe and Middle East.

I have witnessed larger scams facing justice and LuxNomad won’t be the exemption. Sooner or later the FBI will have to get involved, because this company is an international Ponzi Scheme.

I initially hired the services of Lux Nomads, LLC in 2025 on which I paid $2500 deposit to assist me with the VISA application process. However, before I met with their Spanish Immigration attorney, I decided to travel to Spain with the allowed 90 days visa for US Citizens to experience first hand, what my day-to-day life was going to be.

Once in Spain I rented an apartment and began a routine. While Spain is a beautiful country that offers a great experience for tourist travelers, I realized that my day-to-day life was not going to be glamorous or comfortable. Spain has a terrible energy crisis. It is too cold in the winter with limited heater option, and too hot in the Summer with not many places with AC. Electricity is way too expensive and for that reason, not too many apartments have washer AND dryers. Also, getting a DL and purchasing a car in Spain is not as easy, very expensive (4,000€ to 5.000€ for a DL) and there is no credit for purchasing a vehicle. Based on my experience, I decided Spain was not for me.

I returned to the United States and contacted Lux Nomads, LLC via email to inform I was not moving forward. I wanted to terminate their services. Both parties signed a termination agreement with a refund due to me since January 2026. It is already April 2026, 4 months have passed and they have not refunded the $2250. I have emailed many times and when I tried to escalate the matter, this company does not have a physical structure, or main phone number, all employees are contractual employees working from home and there are no supervisors or a hierarchy structure to discuss any grievances.

I decided to begin my own research and what I found I did not like. Lux Nomads, LLC is a company registered in Oro Valley, AZ. For all practical purposes is a company on the GO that only exist in a "Briefcase”. Lux Nomads, LLC only exists in paper, and in the Instagram Account of Michelle Garabito.

I don't recommend Lux Nomad, LLC as they lack the basic U.S. company structure, which it does not give me confidence to recommend. All in all, Lux Nomads runs just via Apps, in a briefcase, Instagram propaganda, lacks main phone number, there is not an actual physical place in the U.S. and there is no two-way communication between client and company, this alone does not offer me the confidence to recommend Lux Nomads, LLC. STAY AWAY OR LOSE YOUR MONEY

Know multiple people who used LuxNomads and were absolutely scammed. They charge an extremely high fee (over $15k) simply to outsource all of their services. They advertise themselves as having community events but there has not been a single one so far. When reaching out to them directly for help, they don’t respond. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

They are nothing but scammers and gentrifiers.

When I hired LuxNomads the business was just getting started. I got the privilege of being part of their growth. My journey to get my visa wasn't easy, a lot of bumps and setbacks along the way, but what got me through was the support and not being alone. I think I would of gave up being a single mom getting a visa for myself and my 2 kids if it wasn't for LuxNomads beside me guiding and facilitating all the challenges. My mom asked me if I would of spent the money if I had to do it again and I said YES without even thinking about it. LuxNomads is worth every penny.

LuxNomads and their partners were exceptional at navigating the DNV process and devising creative solutions to unique aspects of my application and unforeseen developments along the way. I felt seen, held, and deeply supported by my Relocation Specialist, Christine. She kept me informed and on task and advocated for me throughout the process, always with warmth, kindness, and encouragement. Thank you, LuxNomads! I am deeply grateful for your stellar service and support.

Overall a great experience. The process got completed, and there was a lot of support as encouragement along the way. I would absolutely recommend the visa service for anyone wanting to move to Spain specifically, but you would just need to already know that’s where you want to move.

The Lux Nomads has truly been a white glove service that successfuly got us to Spain. They worked with us through every step of the way and beyond. Everything from gathering the appropriate documents, to providing access to immigration and tax attorneys, to providing a rental agency for help finding an apartment, and more. At first, I thought the price was steep, but now having paid it and gone through everything, I think it was totally worth it. I would have certainly given up had I tried to make this move on my own.

Where is the 10 stars option?!? Because that’s what this team and company deserve!! I am truly so grateful for the Lux Nomads for giving me the courage, the roadmap, and the support from their entire team in helping me to navigate (and dominate) a major life transition like selling everything I own in Indiana and moving to a Spanish Island!! I recently received my Spanish digital nomad visa approval and I am I am so incredibly grateful to the entire team at Lux Nomads for this DREAM COME TRUE!!! I absolutely could not have done it without them and with all of their support! It was a long journey for me (on my end) just to liquidate everything. To buy a house to sell a house, sell two cars, a boat, transition my real estate business to remote, and I even had to rehome one of my pets.
I left the country and started traveling Europe solo with my dog Nala in June, before my visa was even approved or my house was sold, to flash forward eight months after I hired the team at Lux Nomads, I have officially sold my house and got my digital nomad visa approved all the same month! In October! 🙌
I could not be more grateful for their dedication and their support and keeping me sane throughout this entire process! Literally could not have found a better team to trust to get me to the finish line and I am eternally grateful! I have insanely high expectations and standards as a business owner in the service industry and I am 100% positive that I could not have found a better company to work with to tackle this process with flawlessly! They are Lux all the way and have set (and continue to raise their own bar) in this relocation industry. VIP service all the way! If you feel like you’re never going to get there, I promise you I promise you, with this team you will, and it will be worth every single second of the journey!! 🙌 What are you waiting for? The Team at LuxNomads is unique in that they invite their clients to explore all of the Schengen Zone for their next home! We appreciate this about them. Spain is exquisite AND so is France, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, etc! There are so many possibilities! We will be making our move with Lux in Spring 2026 so are working with Lux attorneys and housing specialists now. This is a process with many steps with many options. We do not recommend attempting it without professional assistance. If you are looking for a world of options, contact LuxNomads.

Working with Lux Nomads was one of the best decisions my husband and I have ever made! That might sound dramatic but it’s soooooo true.
