I'm writing this because I'm not sure how to report this company, so I hope this review will bring attention to others who are thinking about purchasing from this company - please don't!
I purchased their Nuve Luma Beam motion lights for our project thinking they're decent quality lights that are designed and produced by the company Nuve. The name of the product, their website and the pricing all make it looks like it's a high-end product. However, when I received the actual package, I quickly realized they're low-quality lights that came straight from the manufacturer in China, which you could purchase on Amazon or Temu for 1/4 of the price. The packaging is a joke - the printing on the package is completely pixelated, and there is no specifications of the light or quality check information. It literally look like something I print out of my printer at home.
I reached out to their customer service several times for a refund and I've never heard back from them. I left a review on their website and it's been removed after one day of posting it.
This is a dropship company who marks up low-quality products significantly with fake product images to lure innocent customers. Please do not fall for it.
First, the shipping system in US through a third party is absolutely abominal. They say 3-5 days. It was 3 weeks. Second, the product, Nuve Luma Arc is a cheap plastic construction solar light. Their online "photos" of it in use are 100% AI generated images. The light itself is impossibly weak, and not "soft glow". Please do not invest in this cheap piece of lighting that you could otherwise get at your local box store or lighting professional with much better quality and longevity.
So disappointed! The website looks legit… however the product I recieved looks like it’s from TEMU! I could have paid 1/4 of the price for the same item. Feeling ripped off!
Horrible company! Zero communication and no legit return policy! Save your money and go to a reputable company. You can find same items for a lower price if you do your research.
I’m posting this because I have purchased products from this website and knew things were fishy about them. I then started investigating them and I want everyone else to avoid the same mistake.
- The website looks like a legit online store promoting “designer home lighting,” but there are major issues.
Example: Pricing Is WAY Overblown
This is just one example to show but I have discovered many. There is a “premium” solar landscaping arc at a marked-up price:
- Nuve Luma Arc — $84.99 on their site with fake upsells and countdown timers to think you're missing out on a deal.
Compare that to a perfectly good solar pathway light you can get elsewhere for much cheaper with real reviews and proven performance:
- Wayfair solar path lights (similar outdoor landscape lighting) are regularly $30–$40 or cheaper with user ratings.
** I purchased both to compare and they are exactly the same.**
- Seriously sketchy trust score
ScamAdviser flags thenuvestore.com as low trust/risky. They don’t have a strong reputation or proven legitimacy, and the trust score is far from reassuring.
- Fake “sale” countdown timers
The homepage immediately throws up a countdown timer and “limited offer,” which is a classic marketing gimmick sites use to rush buyers before they think.
- Customer service is terrible
They only offer email support, and responses are slow or nonexistent — another sign of a low-effort scam storefront.
- No verified third-party reviews
I couldn’t find reputable reviews on Reddit, Trustpilot, Amazon, or other major review sites for this store — just suspicious promotional content. Most results are user-generated warnings, not positive testimonials.
Stay safe out there, folks! ✌️
