After making payment and receiving no further communication from this company. I decided to check Trustpilot reviews.
Safe to say we also appear to have been had along with many others! We've sent one final email to request immediately cancellation and refund before we initiate a chargeback through our provider. Do not purchase from this company!

Just like the other scam reviews, communication is great until you part with your hard-earned cash then things get very quiet. If you have to wait weeks or more than a month to figure out a payment date, trust your gut and get your money back. Looks like they piggybacked off of the Swedish company 'myoutdoorkitchen' who were blissfully unaware there was an Etsy store with their brand name. Shame on me for not wanting a deposit option instead of everything upfront, another red flag is avoiding any phonecalls. We'll let the banks take over from here.

Avoid at all costs! Dreadful. Ignored all emails and correspondence via the website chat.

After weeks of silence I eventually filed a dispute with Paypal to get a refund because of being ghosted.

Update - whether it was posting this review or PayPal taking action, I eventually heard from Chris. Unfortunately I was delivered an incomplete table with boards and top missing, and we are back to radio silence with all attempts at communication ignored.

Do not use this company. I handed over almost £1000 to Chris and was promised delivery in two weeks. Chris is in constant connection until you hand over the money. After then communication dried up. I have tried numerous times to contact Chris. Eventually, after going through shopify he did respond with his sob storey. Basically the same routine as many other people mentioned. I tried to accommodate Chris and moved my delivery date a few times. My delivery eventually missing a major family birthday BBQ. I have still not received my order 8 weeks down the line and Chris does not respond. I am now forced to issue recovery proceedings. I just wish I had read the reviews prior to placing my order. Do yourselves a favour stay clear.

We ordered directly from outdoor kitchen makers after a friend previously ordered a number of years ago. 5 weeks after order I have not received the product and the company have failed to respond effectively to emails, not answered the phone or responded to online messages

Only replies were excuses after excuses and did not deliver despite promise to rectify poor services

Pay pal contacted luckily who refunded the money immediately as they have ceased trading with the company due to similar reports!

Had I paid through a card this could have been a different matter and lost 500!

A shame as the products are good and just what we want, but poorly run business lets it down

Delivered late but worth the wait. Quality product and Chris and Josh did a great job with erecting the kitchen table and even touched up the paint.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would ,after reading some of the reviews I thought oh dear what have I done ? Honestly Chris is the most genuine honest person ,his communication is fab & kept me up to date all through the transaction through to delivery ,the outdoor kitchen is excellent quality & very very heavy solid unit .i have no hesitation in recommending Chris & his products to anyone !

Absolutely the same story as others tell. Chris, the owner of the business, is very very chatty right up until you send money to them. Then - nothing. Not answering, ghosting. No kitchen that was promised in 4 weeks. I was told in two weeks that his mother is ill in Spain. In another two weeks he messages that they will try to install in two weeks. After another two weeks nothing. Sending pre court letter soon.

My review echoes. Chris is very communicative until the money changes hands. Then communication is hit and miss. I ordered a kitchen and was so excited, anyway it was delivered and i posted pictures, to my surprise Chris messaged me to apologise for a missing part but that he would sort it. 3 months later and minimal updates despite emails and text messages and the part is still missing. Always seems to be ill or a family issue that prevents the item being posted, yet a popular website shows multiple reviews each month. Whilst the item is okay the service is poor.

Chris was very communicative until money changed hands. Since then updates have only come after weeks of chasing, and are typically platitudes or excuses. I have offered to collect my order and rearranged plans multiple times to meet the proposed delivery dates, which have come and gone with no communication or reason for non-delivery. Very disappointing as the products look good in pictures.

My advice would be not to waste your time; but if you do choose to buy from this company, do so with extreme caution.
