I visited The Perfume Shop inside The Ridings Centre Wakefield this morning and were served by Abi and Courtney. They could not have been any more amazing! They were filled with passion, kindness and a whole lot of knowledge. Based on my interaction this morning, i will 100% be returning!

If this was based on my visit into the York outlet store it would be 5 stars.
I put an order in online but the free gift was unavailable.
Went into the Wakefield store and the assistant was rude and unwilling to help so I left and took my business elsewhere where

Aimee and Poppy did an amazing job today. They both demonstrated great knowledge of the perfumes and helped us select the perfect one.

Visited The ridings at Wakefield and popped into the perfume shop, lovely warm and friendly greeting from Diana and Joe who helped us make a choice of aftershave. Knowledgable about all the products, sizes and costs etc professional service but made us feel comfortable browsing and asking questions. Will definitely make this store our first choice for our fragrance needs in future.

Dianna gave the best customer service I have had in a very long time. She carries herself very well and Is lovely and polite. The woman needs praise!

I visited the ridings store in Wakefield this morning 11/12/2024. The treatment from the senior member of staff was absolutely awful. I went in to purchase 3 perfumes as they're on sale, but the member of staff who seemed to be a manager did not seem to care at all. The customer service she provided was appalling. She did greet me but acted as though my presence was an inconvenience whenever I asked to sample the perfumes, bearing in mind it was just 3 perfumes. She sprayed a test strip for one and then quickly walked away and chose to unpack boxes and rummage through a basket rather than help me. When she retunred after asking for samples to the other two perfumes, she quickly put the perfume through the till without even providing test stripes to the other perfumes. I had to ask again to sample the two perfumes directly behind here. She showed her annoyance before spraying the perfumes on a test strip. She didn't give me any opportunity to take in the scents before asking me to pay for the perfume she had put through the till. It was an extremely off-putting experience, and I would have just purchased the perfumes online. I paid for the one perfume she had already put through the till as it was extremely awkward. There was a sign up stating that with every purchase, you would receive a free gift, which she did not provide. Overall, the experience was a 1/5. There were two other members of staff in who seemed junior as the impression was she was training the other two, but quite frankly, she needs a refresher on her customer service skills. There were no other customers in the store when I arrived, there were some walking in as I was leaving, so there was no other justification as to why proper customer service was not provided at the time. I will not be visiting again and will be taking my custom to The Fragrance Shop instead. Extremely rude and unprofessional. No small talk or proper communication. Would not recommend, avoid if possible or shop elsewhere.

Made 3 orders now based on the service/price and speed of first order. Highly recommended for your needs, also the samples you receive with the order is a lovely touch.
