We have a VERY shy girl, we knew leaving her for a long weekend would be tricky. Sophie came in twice a day and tried everything she could to make Doris comfortable. Sophie brought extra toys, treats and went above and beyond to make sure Doris was happy.

I couldn’t be happier with the care our cats received while we were away on Holiday. The entire process was smooth and well-managed from start to finish.

Sophie didn’t just feed and check in on them—she truly went above and beyond. Each of our cats was given individual attention and one-on-one time, which made a real difference in their comfort and wellbeing.
Sophie kept in regular contact, giving us peace of mind with updates and photos/Videos. While the fees are higher than some others, the level of care and professionalism absolutely justify the cost. You really do get excellent value for your money.

Usually our cats ignore us for 48 hours post holiday as punishment for leaving them, not this time they were happy and content when we got home and we have already booked in for our next holiday in 2026!

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a sitter who treats your pets like her own.

I was so nervous about leaving our cat Merlot but Sophie was amazing! The attention to detail and care is incredible, this was evident from my first meeting with Sophie along with her deep love of animals.
Merlot, who is normally quite timid and shy, warmed to her immediately and she went above and beyond to make sure he was happy - even playing games with him and giving him his own little party at one visit! It meant we could really relax whilst away and know that he was being taken care of and that he was happy!
I returned home to a very relaxed and happy cat and I would even say that he was a bit annoyed to see us and kept looking for Sophie!
Sophie is such a professional, trustworthy and caring cat sitter and I honestly wouldn’t use anyone else to look after our beloved Merlot. Your cats would certainly thank you for choosing her and I feel so lucky to of found her!

I had to find a sitter for my cat last minute. I was given Purry Godmother as a recommendation. This by far has to be the best recommendation I have received in a long while. My Cat has a relationship with everyone in my family and it is important that she was cared for during our family holiday. It was extremely important that our Cat maintained her routine as she’s getting a little old and set in her way’s. The attention to detail with the care, the pre-meetings even though this was last minute was an exceptional Service. The updates during our holiday were well received and the family were always looking forward to receiving them after receiving the first one. The confidence this gave me, that not only was my Cat being looked after, but her surroundings being maintained as they would if I was there. When we came home our Cat was so calm and happy this truly was the most impressive Service. I am quite fussy and as I say my Cat is getting quite old and is also fussy. This level of care meant that all of our needs were met the after-care service was well structured timely and helpful. The Security consciousness that went into my home was exceptional. I truly recommend this to anyone who needs their Cat to be looked after whilst away a truly superb Service thank you and look forward to using you again.

The Purry Godmother is absolutely awesome. Such fun and outstandingly reliable. She is a complete cat expert and my 3, small 7 month old babies absolutely loved her. She has consumed herself in all aspects of her business and is so admirable. I highly recommend her!!!

We are so lucky to have Sophie in our lives. Being able to go away and leave our cats is the most anxiety provoking experience - will they be well cared for? Will the litter tray be cleaned? Will the water bowl be topped up? Will they be played with properly? The answer to all these questions are yes when Sophie is looking after your feline friends. We have had bad experiences before. But now we have found Sophie we never have to go through that again. We will always go back to Sophie - we even have a monthly plan so that she can go to our cats at short notice if needed. She goes above and beyond and for that we will truly recommend her. Sophie’s charges are not cheap but every penny is worth it to ensure I am coming home to happy and healthy cats being watched by a true professional.

There is so much I can say about how outstanding the purry godmother is - I’m really fortunate to have found Sophie to look after my fur babies when times were difficult! She made it so easy on me and I knew I could fully trust on her to take care of them the way I do. Not only that but she goes above and beyond in showing her care for my cats and I can always turn to her for support. Thank you so much Purry Godmother for sharing your magic with me!

Another lovely week of visits from the Purry Godmother for my 4 cats completed.
The PG has played with them all and lavished attention upon them as usual.
After returning from holiday my cats were all extra relaxed and my most anxious cat was totally unfazed and calm. (I also was my least ever anxious about leaving them knowing they were in safe hands).

We feel really lucky to have found The Purry Godmother, and have had nothing short of a magical, wonderful experience working with her twice now! At every stage of the process from Magic Mirror call and messaging beforehand to key collection, we have found Sophie to be caring, thoughtful, respectful, professional, dedicated and reliable. She’s a warm, authentic person with real kindness and conscientiousness, not to mention a lot of fun!

The Purry Godmother is clearly so very passionate and knowledgeable about all things whiskered ones, with completed and current ongoing qualifications behind her, making things even more fantastic and reassuring. She forges great relationships with the lucky fur babies who have her as their PG and their ‘pawrents’ (Sophie‘s words). We’ve found her to be generous with her time, always intending to bring magic and never failing to delight. She really went the extra mile, coming to meet me and my completely delighted three year year-old daughter in full PG regalia, just because she knew my little one would love it (see PG socials for some pics of their tea party!).

Sophie‘s communication is plentiful and thoughtful – her photo and video updates while we were away were a joy to receive. Our two Siamese boys had a brilliant time with Sophie and were relaxed, playful, happy and healthy on our return - a very different situation to other services we’ve experienced and heard of from family and friends!

As this review clearly shows, we’ve been wonderfully bewitched by all that Sophie, the Purry Godmother offers and are over the moon to have found her service. I’d recommend anybody to get in touch with her and arrange a Magic Mirror call quickly as her business will surely skyrocket!

The Purry Godmother was a wonderful comfort to our kitties - she took care of the three of them with love and attention. I would recommend her services to anyone who wants a to know their cats are well taken care of when they are away.

I am so over-the-moon happy we booked with Purry Godmother. The service was 5-star from start to finish. The Purry Godmother got to know us and our boys before taking care of them, so when we left, we knew they were in good hands. Not only were they looked after in terms of their food and litter tray, but they had plenty of fun playing with Purry Godmother who even took them outside on their leads, one of their favourite activities. They got love and attention which meant the world while we were away. We got regular text updates, photos and videos so we could see how happy our kitties were. It’s every cat parents worse nightmare that their cat will need the vet when they’re away. I noticed a tiny pimple-sized bump on our one cat the night before we left. I didn’t think it was anything to worry about, but mentioned it to the Purry Godmother who kept an eye on it. Two days later to our surprise the spot had become inflamed and infected. Purry Godmother let us know straight away and very kindly agreed to take our cat to the vet for us. She even did extra visits to take our cat to the vet and see that he was okay the next morning before we came home. Purry Godmother checked what would be okay to use on the wound in addition to the medicine from the vet, and with vet’s permission, even gave us some of her own supply of colloidal silver to treat our cat. Our little kitty got a head start on his treatment so that when we came home he didn’t have to wait to start his medication. This has meant he’s healed faster, so I am so grateful to the Purry Godmother.
This is the kind of peace-of-mind you need when you have to leave your fur-babies. Honestly, the service is amazing, and you couldn’t meet a nicer person than the Purry Godmother. I don’t think I could recommend her enough and feel like I’ve missed so much out, but honestly, I would recommend to everyone and will definitely be booking her for the next time our kitties can’t come with us. Thank you so much for the amazing care you gave our boys!

It was my first time leaving my cats home alone and I was quite nervous. Sophie, The Purry Godmother has a really good service which I feel is really good value for money. It was nice to get pics and vids and know my babies are being looked after. I like that you stay and play with them for an extra fee. This is perfect for me.
