This company transformed a rarely used conservatory to a room which we are already spending so much more time in. Not too hot in summer and so much warmer in winter.

Would highly recommend Thermolite to anyone thinking of replacing a glass conservatory roof. Everyone we had contact with in this company were so friendly professional and efficient.

A Building Regulations Certificate came with the construction. This is a key element as to why we chose the Leka roof system installed by Thermolite. This is a must for anyone considering a roof conversion.

In December 2022 Thermolite installed our replacement conservatory roof. I wanted to give a fair review, taking into account our experience of living with the new roof. In summary it has been great! Shortly after installation we had a period of very cold weather - it really was warmer! We have just had some very warm weather - it really has been cooler! So, thanks to Gary, Joe and their team for a job well done, I can definitely recommend Thermolite.

After checking out the website, we had very high expectations for our orangery roof replacement. We had the old glass and PVC roof that was too cold in the winter and too hot in the summner. I'm happy to say that it is even better than we had hoped and I'm really impressed with how it holds the temperature into the evening. The quality of the finish is excellent and you can tell that these guys care about the work they are doing. The team were very professional and were always happy to answer any questions I had. We can’t recommend Gary, Joe and the team highly enough: we wanted a replacement of a very tired conservatory, retaining its original brick base. We particularly wanted to insulate the roof/ceiling, because the space was too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. We now have a lovely room and it is precisely the opposite - and it is seeing much more use as a result. The attention to detail, high quality products and workmanship, exceptionally friendly and helpful service throughout, and the finishing on time and to budget makes this company really very easy to recommend without reservation. I wholeheartedly recommend the entire Thermalite Team and their work. Everything from Gary's initial assessment through to the finished job was excellent in all respects. The quality of Paul's plastering was brilliant, the lighting is perfect, Jason's roof-work, guttering, drainpipes extremely neat and Joe's co-ordination of the project, made both our experience and of course the improvements to our conservatory excellent. We're exceedingly pleased with the final result and it's made a huge difference because we now have a fully usable room instead of a fridge/hot-house depending on the season.

We had four quotes when we decided that we wanted a solid roof conversion to our conservatory. Like most things when you start to do some serious research there is always more to it than you originally thought. The options range from merely attaching insulation internally to the existing roof and covering it over with plastic t&g boards, to completely removing the entire roof structure and replacing it.
We dismissed the first option, considered a company who do a half way measure. By that I mean they strip out the roof glazing panels and fix the new roof to existing aluminium roof structure. However, we came to the conclusion that only a complete new roof was what we needed to ensure a permanent job.
We chose Thermolite because Gary did the most professional and thorough survey of all the companies we invited to quote. Also, their reviews were excellent.
We were not disappointed Joe and his team worked through some very poor weather conditions. They consulted closely at all times and were keen to know we were happy with what they were doing. They are great people to have working at your home and are very respectful of your property.
The end result is a beautiful room, we no longer call it the conservatory it is now a room which we can enjoy all year around in comfort but still gives the views of our garden. The cost was higher than we had originally budgeted for but Thermolite were competitive for the quality of the work. Price is important but you do get what you pay for. We wanted something which will last as long as the house and that is what we got. Highly recommended.

Recently had a new roof on the conservatory. Thermolite did a great job. Really happy and highly recommended. I also had another company round for a quote and a chat but Thermolite were alot more professional in my opinion. It's a complete roof rebuild with additional supports where other company's do a 'wrap around' job which isn't a full replacement.

We recently had our old polycarb conservatory roof, and all the old timber window panes/windows replaced by Thermolite and were very happy with the service.
Price was fair having compared a few quotes, turnaround time good, and the team helpful + friendly. Aftercare good too (snag list resolved in reasonable time).
