The SaaS Academy Reviews

Ben's 5 Pillars SaaS Metrics Framework is an excellent way to breakdown this complex area. It is a well-organized and the content is accessible for non-accounting/finance people. Ben provides lots of great real-world examples and experience to illustrate the concepts. The videos, downloadable notes, and Excel templates add even more value. I highly recommend the course to anyone new to the SaaS world.

I absolutely loved this course and learned from Ben. No matter where you are in your finance career, you would benefit from this course, either as a confirmation that you do what is needed to just to know what to do and what comes next as your company grows.

I recently made 1-star review about "SaaS Metrics Crash Course". Thanks Trustpilot, my issues was resolved because of it. Not it's five stars!

I just completed The SaaS Academy's "SaaS Metrics Foundations Course" to sharpen my SaaS and corporate finance insights. This in-depth knowledge empowers me (as a marketing leader) to make better decisions to navigate the complexities of SaaS and leadership. Ben Murray systematically connects the dots of the SaaS financial operating system and shows a very detailed and practical roadmap through all the different metrics, their meaning, formulas, benchmarks, and how to use them right in dashboards and systems. If you feel lost with all the SaaS metrics, or just want to dig deeper and expand your knowledge of the financial operating system to make better GTM decisions, I highly recommend Ben's (on-demand) course for every kind of SaaS leader, especially GTM-driven ones.

Whipping a company into shape: I took over as CFO at a time when we needed some rigorous answers quickly about our finances. I knew the business really well. But Ben taught me exactly how to make our finances into a repeatable process that made us look great in front of investors...and I feel like I barely scratched the surface of what he was teaching. Overwhelming value.

Most [growing] businesses have the same challenge: setting up the right financial foundation to create transparency that supports scale. I attended Ben's SaaS Metrics Foundation Live sessions back in 2022. I have since applied the learnings in 3 different Software businesses all with great success. I started teaching the content to my teams which greatly helps to professionalize organizations and makes people more data driven. I did many trainings in my career, this is one of the few that I regularly go back to, to review content - and it gets frequently updated, too (lifetime access!).

My name is Cole Gonzales, known as @Colewherld on social media (7m+ followers across all platforms). I’m 22 years old and completely new to SaaS. I went searching all over the internet for resources to learn about SaaS for my startup and stumbled upon Ben’s SaaS Metrics Foundation Live Course.

I can say without a doubt that buying Ben’s live course was the single greatest investment I have made in myself regarding the business finance (and acquisition of business knowledge in general).

It’s a blessing that Ben has decided to take the path of helping and educating others because he truly knows the ins and outs of SaaS & SaaS finance.

If you are reading this, I couldn’t recommend a better resource than Ben’s courses, templates and newsletter for understanding every aspect of SaaS Finance and more.

He is truly passionate about this stuff and makes a great effort to help his community find the resources they need.

If you are hesitant on making the jump on any of his courses, shoot me a message on LinkedIn (@ColeGonzales) & I am more than willing to provide you with more insight on how much of a positive impact Ben and his resources have had on my startup so far and for the years to come.

Thank you Ben!

Ben is very knowledgeable on the metrics that make SaaS companies go. While I already knew many of them the training gives you additional outlets to view results that maybe you didn't see before.

I was new the SAAS industry and Ben helped me get up to speed very quickly. His courses are to the point and extremely informative. Highly recommended.

great class, great teacher, well worth the money, thanks a lot, also keeping the class open after participating

Ben's training "SaaS Fundamentals" is sensational, and I have learned so much in such a short period of time. The explanations and the supporting material are clear, the visuals compelling, and the content is second to none. I cannot recommend this training enough to anyone interested in understanding more than just fundamentals of SaaS financials. Natalia

Clear. concise. Heaps of helpful course materials and templates.

The 5 pillars is a great framework from which to hang all the metrics. It gives a good structure to make you think about how the different levers interact within your business.

Perfect intro to key SaaS metrics. The course was well organized and very thorough. I would highly recommend it.

The availability of videos to prepare for live sessions is helpful. Ben talks you through key metrics and answers questions. The additional templates and benchmarks are useful in putting them into practice. A must take coarse for anyone looking to bring transparency and institute operating leverage at a SaaS company.

I joined Ben's class because I wanted to have an introductory course that will be able to provide a thorough overview of all the key topics about SaaS. Ben's classes served my needs very well and I strongly recommend to not only people with some SaaS background, but also people like me, who need some help to lay out a solid foundation for further studies in SaaS world.

One of the best in the market. You get more than what you pay for. Ben is really meticulous and knowledgeable in this area and would recommend everyone in SaaS finance to take this course

Ben is a great resource for all things SAAS finance! His class is a great refresher for all SAAS concepts. He provides great templates and helpful examples. I highly recommend it if you are new to SAAS or have staff that need to ramp up quickly.

As the CFO of a mid sized SaaS company I understand the importance and complexity in calculating the metrics of our business.

Ben Murray's class is a must have for CEOs and CFO in understanding the important benchmark and financial presentations of the business.

Aside from the materials Ben's community is a constant source of answers to tricky questions going forward. An incredibly helpful course to have taken

I recently completed the SaaS Metrics Foundation Live course and it was great. As a SaaS CFO for a number of years, it was good to see a system and framework for SaaS metrics that clearly defined explained and categorized these metrics. Lastly I should mention that Ben is very knowledgeable and is a great instructor.
