I was recommended to David and The Sim Guide from a close personal friend. For someone with as vast experience in training as David, he completely puts you at ease with any parts of your training you may be worried about, which is rare in this industry. You can see this right away from his free 737 sim guide training videos on Youtube which I found to be excellent preparation for any simulator session. He also has excellent rapport with any individual who avails of his services. I experienced this on both a personal level and also with many other individuals that I was lucky enough to share my course with. The training was excellent. For something as complex as operating an aircraft, David has teaching techniques that break down each individual phase of training in easy to learn bite size segments. David completely puts you at ease in both the classroom and the simulator. His communication before, during and upon completion of any course is second to none. I would highly recommend anyone who needs a renewal or revalidation of a license to get in contact with David.

I recently had to renew my 737 NG type rating and Dave and the team were fantastic in guiding me through the process. I needed to renew my B737 rating and add an A320 rating from another regulator to my EASA Licence at short notice during a brief visit back to the UK. David and the ATO did a great job in helping me negotiate my way through the demands of the IAA to get both types onto the licence.

During the skills tests both David for the 737 and Paul Day for the A320 created a great atmosphere that enabled me to get the best out of the session. Any apprehension born out of my lack of recency and rustiness in the last 2 years was immediately removed with a nice tone set from the beginning. This led to a good outcome in both tests, I would strongly recommend The Sim Guide for any training needs due to the high standards of instruction.
