We are here for the moments when you need maps, messages, bookings, translations, rideshare apps and that one confirmation email while your suitcase is doing laps around the carousel. No tiny SIM card to swap. No airport kiosk queue. The main reason we built The SIM Shop is because we looove travel. The fun bits, the messy bits, the “which train are we meant to be on?” bits. Having data is not the adventure, but it makes the adventure a lot easier. When we started The SIM Shop, the idea was pretty straightforward to be honest: build a travel eSIM store that we would actually use ourselves. Clear plans, fair prices, and guides that don't assume you speak telco. That means we want you to know what you are getting before you pay, have the setup details handy when you land, and get on with the trip. Before you buy, we also want you to check the boring-but-important stuff: your phone needs to support eSIM and be unlocked. Most travel eSIMs are data-only, so your usual Australian SIM can often stay in your phone for calls and SMS where supported. Very modern. Very suitcase-friendly.

The SIM Shop is a non-negotiable on the packing list for us now 🙌🏽

We live a life of travel and traditionally got stumped with high priced, low data plans once we landed. Since learning about The SIM Shop communications during travel have never been so simple.

Would highly recommend.

The SIM card was easy to use

The sim card was great! Had no issues, worked everywhere even when I was in rural areas, easy to install and use. Highly recommend their sims compared to others, decent price and worked great for south east Asia trip.

Bought an unlimited esim for a trip to…

Bought an unlimited esim for a trip to Japan, connection was stable the entire team, even in the rural snow mountains! Realised last minute before we left that we hadnt organised service, whole process took us about 3 minutes just before taking off! Would recommend

worked well, deffo recommend

one of my mates tried them out recently for a Japan trip so i decided to give them a go for Bali. it worked really well… super fast internet and I didn’t really have any problems connecting my phone up

Perfect SIM for a trip to Bali.

Gave The Sim Shop a try for a trip to Bali as the pricing was really competitive. Whole experience was straight forward and I was able to get connected before leaving the airport on arrival. Had very good 5G coverage across different places we explored around Bali. I would use The Sim Shop again for my next holiday overseas.
