Our dedicated team works with a small hand-picked and highly accredited group of suppliers who deliver vibrant, eye-catching and flavoursome ingredients to our kitchens daily.
Once our team takes hold of these fresh ingredients, we follow authentic Japanese processes to prepare our handmade Minutes Fresh Sushi. From the size of slices taken from our Scottish sashimi grade salmon, to our slightly soured specialist sushi rice being the perfect bed for our fish or vegetables. We’re proud to take all the necessary extra steps to provide great quality sushi whilst doing our bit to be responsible in how we go about it.
We don’t use any rice; we use sushi rice.
Rice is sushi, that’s why we use the same rice you’ll find in the UKs top sushi restaurants. Carefully milled in the Po Valley, Northern Italy. Mother nature’s rich Mediterranean sun melts the snow sitting high on the Alps giving the rice fields we source from everything they need to grow. Our premium grade short grain rice is designed specifically for sushi – its texture and natural stickiness is perfect for sushi.

We have the highest standards when sourcing our fresh fish suppliers. Whether it’s our 50-year-old Scottish Salmon farm or our cutting-edge 100% sustainable Dutch Yellowtail supplier, both are proud to have been accredited by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) for making every step of their processes as sustainable as possible.
Our Dutch Yellowtail are organically fed with the highest-grade antibiotic free feed, resulting in high levels of Omega 3. Our Scottish Salmon are nurtured in hatcheries on the banks of Loch Creran and use RAS technology to ensure the best growing conditions are provided.

Mother's Day disaster — 2 hour wait and still no Sushi.
Ordered a big Sushi platter from their Hampstead branch on Mother's Day with their 20% Mother's Day discount. This was for my mother and her friends celebrating this special day.
But it was a disaster — I kept getting messages saying the delivery time would be later and later. I rang the branch, but they did not seem to care. Eventually, after over TWO HOURS I had to cancel the order, and was told I could not cancel it, and I had to message head office to get a refund.
My mother was so very upset, and by then her friends had left. What a terrible, terrible experience, from a company that just does not see to care.
I messaged the company on their online form twice, but never got an apology or reply, and I'm still waiting for my refund; I may have to have my bank reverse the charge.

They accept an order and deliver it over 45 mins late and the food is stone cold. When I call them just to state my disappointment they shout even without listening or letting me speak and bang the phone down. Out of my list forever! All you could have done is say sorry.

They gave the delivery driver the wrong address - then refused to do anything about it saying it was down to me to resolve, despite my order showing my actual address making the issue clearly them inputting an entirely wrong address...... Customer service with these people is always an absolute joke.
The worst sushi I have ever had
The worst sushi I have ever had anywhere. Rolls were cold, as if they were pre-made from fridge and took nearly an hour to arrive. Tried one piece of each, almost gagged. Had better from supermarkets (and they were awful too). Avoid, go anywhere else but here.
Ordered via sushico website. Never arrived. No refund.
Made an order in June 2025 (a78707) via company website. Order never arrived. Multiple attempts to contact company, no replies to any contact forms. No other way to contact company. Will make a formal complaint to financial ombudsman service.
Worst restaurant in the UK
Disgusting! Don't go near! Wow, truly one of the most miserable places I've ever eaten in my life. We ordered two sushi rolls that were just a joke. Avocado and cucumber wrapped in rice the size of a penny. The most miserable I've ever seen. For a moment I thought there was a mistake in the order but no - these are their dishes. The poke bowl is disgusting. It also looks bad, and comes with an aftertaste. In short, the worst place we've been to in all of London so far. There are no words to convey the feeling of disgust after visiting the restaurant. I should also mention that not a single employee worked with gloves when preparing the food. I'm ashamed I had to pay for this terrible experience. I don't recommend going near at all!

Was a lovely experience at the Camden branch. Big shoutout to the guy who served us, Aktar. Food 10/10, service 10/10, vibes 10/10! Will be sure to come back when I’m in the area
The Sushi Co is a No Go!
We went to the Hampstead NW3 branch. Lacks atmosphere. Staff hopeless and didn’t know the dishes on the menu or have any knowledge of dishes not on the menu. None of them were Japanese and the staff would have been more suited in a Sainsbury’s. Food passable, but not much over pret a manger quality. Lack of selection. Horrible plastic picture menus that look cheap. Heavy tea pots for green tea so Japanese delicacy goes right out the window. Cheapish prices, but be warned, you get what you pay for in this life! We will not be returning. Sorry, but I give it a few months, and it will close down.
