A long time in the bag.
For many years I have used tea bags in a mug, but have become disapointed with the quality. I purchased loose tea (English Breakfast) from the Team Makers of London as a trial. The order was delivered within a few days. Having tried the usual infusers in a mug, I purchased an insulated tea pot. I was pleasantly surprised at the change. Not so strong as some I have tasted, but a very good flavor. Will be ordering more soon.

Good tea, and good service
I've been buying various kinds of tea from The Tea Makers of London for many years, and it's always been high quality, providing lots of interesting options. I've not had to engage with their customer service beyond purchasing, though. I'm also not the biggest fan of their site's chat bot, but those seem standard these days, and it's easy enough to dismiss.

Recieved my first order last week
Recieved my first order today, order arrived in good time and packaged well.
I ordered the 2017 ripe pu-erh cake. Well bodied with lots of deep flavours. My method of brewing is gongfu using larger sharing pots so around 200ml per steep. 8g-10g with short steeps developed well. Lost its luster after the 9th pour. The tarry lapsang is without doubt the smokiest lapsang i have ever encountered which is perfect as I like pure smokey teas as well as blending my own caravans. My finial tea in this order was the white peony dry smell is great. Full large leaves vibrant in colour with the right amount of oxidation. Good mix of silver buds within. I have yet to drink it but looks like its going to be a winner.
Will order again!!!

We are glad you enjoyed the deep, full-bodied flavours of the 2017 Ripened Pu-Erh Cake. Your Gongfu brewing method sounds perfect for drawing out the complex, earthy characteristics and smooth mouthfeel of this Yunnan vintage, and getting nine excellent pours is a true testament to its quality.
It is also great to hear that the Tarry Lapsang Souchong met your high standards. We intentionally use the traditional method of smoking the leaves over horsetail pine to amplify that bold character, and we are delighted it works so well for your personal enjoyment and custom blends.
Additionally, you have an excellent eye when it comes to the White Peony. The large leaves and abundant silver buds highlight this supreme-grade, early spring harvest from Fujian. Because its minimally processed, it retains a beautiful freshness, and we hope you love its light floral notes and honeyed pear sweetness when you steep it.
