The writer was not the quality expected for the price. The editor did not do a good editing work even after telling what I wanted to edit.
It was more about trying to get more money out of me.

I was very very impressed with the quality of writing that I received from Daniel my ghost writer. In that regard, I think that I was very lucky because he completely understood my topic, and I think had written on this top topic before. I paid for the higher tier, expertise and I got just what I needed. It was amazing. I did two books at the time I was gonna have a lower tier ghostwriter do the other book and I wound up having Daniel do both my books and he did an amazing job. You’re lucky to have a guy like him.

My ghostwriter did quality work and the editor fine-tuned the project. The time frame was too lengthly, but that was due to health issues that the ghostwriter had - which were unavoidable. Other than that, the final product was good.

Ghosted by ghostwriter!
I do not recommend this service. Initially, I encountered a few interested writers, but most lacked the necessary qualifications. One writer, who seemed relatively qualified and had accepted my project, bailed just before starting. This left me hanging until another, only marginally qualified writer, took up the project but disappeared during the initial phase—effectively ghosted by the ghostwriter. Since this fiasco, no other writers have shown interest in the project. It seems the well has dried up.

SERVICE was great but difficult when you were unable to reach customer service by phone for questions. It's hard to relay also in email what you want to convey to the writers. Perhaps add a video or voice recording for clients to record a message.

Clear bait and switch.
I hired Urban Writers to ghost write a short 3 chapter bit - the writer accepted the assignment and word limit including the outline etc without question. Then proceeded to only write 2/3 of it and decide he needed a total of 33,000 words instead of the agreed upon 11,000 for the short e-book - the new word count would have required another $700 payment above the almost $400 I already paid. I repeatedly rejected the upsale and asked the order to be cancelled well within the 90 day period. However they kept dragging their feet until after 90 days so they could refuse a refund. This company is a bald faced bait and switch. Do not use! There are better ghostwriting companies out there.
