Thank you to the Vintage Red Bus Company. We hired the bus for a wedding on the 4th September 2026, and dealt with Conor in the office, who made the booking process very easy. The crew Nick and Riley were very professional on the day. All the guests enjoyed their experience on the Routemaster Bus, if you are thinking of hiring a bus for an event I would highly recommend this company.

Amazing from start to finish! Communication was great from the minute we booked. Conor helped us with any queries we had throughout our wedding planning journey. We dropped our refreshments off on the Thursday and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They unloaded the car for us and answered our last minute questions/queries. On the day the whole process was seamless and we honestly couldn't have asked for more. Our driver Nick was amazing, as was the conductor (I can’t remember his name, sorry!). We’ve had so many comments on how amazing the bus was, it really was an iconic part of our day. A truly wonderful company with staff who are so genuine and are there to make your day even more special. If you’re unsure on whether to book a bus for your special event, take this as your sign! My daughter had the bus for her wedding which meant everybody got to ride with the bride and groom, no boring car. The two chaps were brilliant , everybody was so excited and it made the day even more special - Thank you everyone

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! My (now-wife) and I booked this vintage double-decker London bus for our wedding group on August 9th, and it was truly one of the highlights of the trip.

From the very beginning, Conor and the entire team went above and beyond to make the experience perfect for us. Planning an event like this from the US could have been complicated, but they were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout. They even kindly accepted beverage deliveries in the days leading up to the tour and had everything packed in ice and ready for us when we arrived.

The experience itself was fantastic. John, our driver, Riley, our conductor, and Amber, our guide, were all wonderful. They were friendly, professional, and made the entire group feel welcome. The vintage bus was such a fun and memorable way for our guests to see London, especially for those who were visiting from out of town and only had a short time to experience the city.

The team also worked with us to create the perfect route from our hotel, including a stop near the London Eye where our guests could get off for a few minutes and take photos. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience feel truly personalized to our group.

Everyone absolutely loved it. The combination of the iconic vintage bus, seeing London’s major sights, the fantastic guide, and the incredible service made this an unforgettable experience for us and our guests.

We are so grateful to Conor and the entire team for helping make our wedding celebration even more special. If you’re looking for a unique, fun, and memorable way to experience London, we cannot recommend them highly enough- we appreciate everything!

I was looking for an unusual gift to celebrate my husband, Don's, birthday with the family and remembered having a wonderful time on a London Vintage bus for our friend's wedding. I found 'The Vintage Red Bus Company - they had excellent reviews and they're local. Conor had a few suggestions for me - one of which was to pick us up from very near to our home. They personalised our sightseeing trip to London and the London Eye based on our conversations - this included our very big family of all ages from Holland, and our family from the UK. The team was extremely friendly and helpful - in fact, they couldn't have done more for us before the trip and on the day. Everybody enjoyed themselves very much. Thanks to the team, including Conor (organiser), Josh, Neil (the driver), Riley (the bus conductor) and Anita (our guide).

From the first communication we felt in reliable hands. Communication was clear and was reassuring and detailed as the day came closer. One less thing to worry about.

You provided peace of mind come rain or shine.

More than that everyone was thrilled with the transport. All the little details - the ribbons and flowers, name of the happy couple on the front and the wonderful tickets made the wedding even more special.

Thank you for staying for photographs. These are so special and we await the professional photographs which I am sure will be stunning. Our less professional family ones are great.

I would definitely recommend you to anyone looking for transport peace of mind and something truly memorable for their special day.

Unfortunately this review is mainly based on the management’s attitude (James and Josh). Our 4 year old flowergirl was found to have mechanical grease oil on her dress whilst travelling on the bus. After contacting the company, both managers absolved responsibility, even though they admitted that it had come from the bus window. After they finally answered our emails asking for them to redress the situation by recompensing our (£15) drycleaning charge, they said a) the child had no reason to touch the window mechanism (unlikely that the oil was just on the window mechanism as it was out of reach, and b) (more surprisingly) they said the child should not have wiped it from their finger onto their dress! (the 4 year old was not aware it was on their finger so it inevitably ended up on their dress).
I advised that there should at least be a warning that this oil is on the windows, but received no response about this from the company.
This issue could all have been cleared up by the management issuing at least a goodwill refund of the cleaning bill, but instead they chose to respond with a defensive and rather petty attitude blaming us!
Some guests nearly missed the bus from the church as the conductress was not pro-active in her role at all, and made no effort to check if the guests were still in the churchyard.
Also, the bus was parked at the church with just the rear entry point showing as guests boarded, instead of to the right of the church entrance so that the front of the bus with the personalised blinds could be seen.
None of the wedding guests or Bridal Party saw them so they were a waste of money.
After pointing this out in our email, we were given the excuse that this was for ease of boarding. This does not make sense as the guests would only have to walk the short length of the bus to board.
I would say do not pay for personalised blinds unless the company make some effort for them to be seen!
The same at the venue, the bus was parked head-on to a house with guests exiting the back of the bus, instead of the driver explaining to the photographer that the blinds would again not be seen by anyone.
We were not told in any correspondence that we could keep the personalised blinds. They were given to the venue manager when the bus left, but as we were not aware of this, the venue presumed we did not want them. Again, an email asking the management where in our booking we were told that we could keep the blinds remained unanswered.
Poor attitude and lack of accountability from the management spoils an otherwise good bus service!

A great addition to our event, really adding to the experience for guests. Would recommend for all events and parties!

Amazing!! Conor was excellent setting up the booking and travel arrangements and communication and assistance were brilliant throughout. On the day, everything ran to perfection and driver and conductor were really lovely. We arrived at Islington Town Hall and were 1 of 3 buses. Our bus stood out, glistening away in the sunshine (the condition is stunning) and instead of a standard bus blind that others had - our names and wedding date were on the blind (at no extra cost which we were given to keep) it honestly makes it look all that more special. Thank you so much for adding such brilliant memories to our day our guests loved the surprise and it’s a journey we will never forget.

The fact you can bring alcohol was great as not many companies allow this but between the beers and the music also it got everyone in the party mood for the reception! We really appreciate that you navigated the bad traffic and bridge closures and got us all there as quickly as you could. We loved the personal individual bus tickets and the fact the staff kindly gave us the sign as a keepsake.

The Vintage Red Bus Company was absolutely fantastic for our wedding transport on Saturday 18th April. From our very first enquiry through to the big day itself, the team were professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful.

The bus looked amazing and added such a special touch to our wedding day. Our guests absolutely loved travelling on them, and everything ran so smoothly and on time, which really helped us relax and enjoy the day.

The Vintage Bus was a highlight of our wedding day! Our guests loved it; it was a real vibe with chilled drinks pre-arranged with Conor, and our own Spotify playlist. The photos were fantastic too! Very retro.

Everyone attending the wedding said that the bus was one of the top highlights of the day, it was a really incredible experience! The Vintage Red Bus company team have been amazing and made everything so straight forward for us, from the organisation to serving Prosecco on the bus ride and playing great tunes that everyone sang along to. The bus was beautifully decorated with ribbons inside and out and also had personalised wedding signage. We booked a bus for my daughter's wedding in December. The whole experience was just a delight - Conor and his team were friendly and efficient, the bus itself looked beautiful and arrived bang on time which was incredible considering it was a rainy Saturday in central London full of Christmas shoppers! We couldn't recommend the Vintage Red Bus Company more highly!

We booked two buses for our wedding guests to go from the church to the venue and WOW what an experience, the best decision we made! The buses looked absolutely fabulous, with personalized touches and all our guests had the best best time on them, sipping on their prosecco and singing along to the playlist we had made. They all commented on how lovely the team were and how great the experience was. The team were so great in the lead up when we were planning too and made the whole experience seamless. Best experience ever!
