Haven’t had a chance to test the rods yet. But the cusromer service to the packaging to the quality of the rods is epic!!! Can’t wait to see the guide box subscription totally stoked!!

Had a clutch rod that broke shortly after the purchase, guess the went out of business and I couldn’t get warranty help. Heard about wade rod co’s payment option. Got my new 8wt in 3 days and back to shootin poon. Great rod,

**UPDATE 2** : Received the replacement rod today, and it cam in a much better condition than the first one. The support was awesome allowing me to keep both rods due to the mixup. I appreciate y’all standing behind your product. TIGHTLINES!!!

I was sent a rod that has clearly been used before. When opening the package the rod case was not wrapped in any plastic, there were way to many scuffs and marks on it, and the colors were fading as if it was left out in the rain and sun. I had to wait to use the rod because my reel I was planning on using didn’t arrive yet, but when I received the reel and went to set it all up I noticed that the paint was chipping off of the larger ferrules, a sticky residue is on the top side of the rod on multiple pieces of the rod, where the rod meets the cork it is loose, and the guide dots (when lined up) did not line up the ferrules correctly. I am highly disappointed in the quality of this rod, for $249 I expected a lot more... I will be returning this product.

Great company that cares about the customer. Fly fishing is a very expensive hobby and they make it affordable for enthusiasts that can’t afford premium gear but want a premium feel. Well done keep up the good work guys!

bought the Blue Gill Dragon glass and loved it so much I bought the five weight as well. I love throwing dries and poppers on the lake!

I’ve purchased multiple rods and reels as well as apparel from Wade and Pelican. I love their products as well as service. Feels like dealing with my local fly shop.

Tried the Freestone 9' 5wt out in backyard due to how high the lakes and rivers are in OK. It felt great and casted very well. The only issue I had was the with the reel staying tight in the reel seat. Even with both locknuts as tight as I could tighten them (without tools), the reel kept coming loose. Other than the reel seat issue, I think this rod is going to be a great addition to the arsenal.

You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Excellent product. Fast shipping.

I bought the 8wt Tide Chaser. I used it once and have no complaints. Its rated as med/fast, but casts a heavy sink tip line like a fast rod. So far so good. Longevity is the true indicator of quality.

Butter. That’s probably the best word to describe this rod. Great for brookies in tight spots. This rod gave me a beautiful roll cast to get my mayfly under a branch and snag a nice brown. Would 100% recommend this to any avid angler.
