Shocking service! Arranged a slot between 8am-1pm, messaged them twice to check someone was coming and was told yes, they will definitely be there. Tried calling the office, no reply. Messaged again at 2.30pm and was told I was the next job. Then straightaway got an automated message to say they wouldn’t be coming but could come tomorrow. What’s the use of that when you have a garage door you can’t close? Thy expected me to leave the garage open all night for anyone to come and nick stuff out of. Very disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic company, can't rate them highly enough. This morning I made the most moronic error and left a chair under the electric garage door and the whole door came off the rails. It's an ancient door, I was worried sick about the cost but it was absolutely fine.
Paul came to fix the door, he was friendly and very transparent, not to mention very knowledgeable and good at his job. He gave us some great advice and fixed the door in no time at all.
Do not hesitate to use these guys, they're amazing.

I used the WhatsApp chat to see if they catered to my area as the postcode was not being found. My up and over garage door was stuck open and was only cooperating from one corner when closing befote getting jammed.
Within 1 minute of sending the message this morning at 08:06 I had a response to confirm they could get to my area, what the engineer would do as an diagnostic assessment and the standard fee of £19.95 (bargain!). That fee is not charged if work is carried out same day (even better) or comes off the bill for using them subsequently. Better yet they could get someone out today or up until the end of the week.
They advised they could have someone anytime from 10.00 today and the team would phone ahead to advise when the Engineer was less than an hour out. Steven our Engineer was with me by 10.30, diagnosed it within minutes of me showing him the garage door and was very honest and transparent in his advice on the life of the door and the system and gave guidance on costs if we wanted to replace the outdated mechanisms for a more robust system.
The communication between Steven and the Team at Tom’s was spot on. Everything they told me would happen from there on out happened. He advised on the work, the team called me back to quote, I authorised the work, they gave me payment options which were sent to me via a secure link and instructed to complete them once work was completed and was satisfied. Took Steven literally 30 minutes at best to have the garage door operational again. They support Apple Pay on the payment link which made it even more reasonable. £218 to have someone same day to make it work, he checked everything over across the mechanism, health-checked the cables and tracks and gave me sound maintenance advice too. Incredible experience and would thoroughly recommend them if you have issues like I had or are considering a new garage door solution altogether.
It was great to have what was an annoyance be solved from start to end within 3 hours total of me contacting Tom’s!

Quick and efficient service, pleasant staff.

Made contact late on monday night after cable on garage came off - got an immediate response and explaining the call out charge which was £19.99 for a daignostic visit - got message early in the morning to say engineer would be there between 9am-10am but arrived before 9am and explained what needed doing. Agreed price for work and then job was all done and completed within an hour and received invoice and 1-year guarantee by email - Philip was great and explained everything and ensured I checked all work before he left - thank you for making it quick and easy!

After a slight altercation between garage door and car this resulted in part of the door coming out of its guide track I called Toms Garage and booked a next day appointment all very efficient. Daniel duly arrive on time and reviewed the situation. After a few adjustments he managed to get things back operational very quickly and efficiently. A job well done.

We were charged £175 plus VAT for a job which took less than three minutes to complete and required no parts etc. This is extortionate pricing and I have taken it up with customer services and if unable to resolve will take steps to highlight this pricing in whatever way I can

Rang Toms Garage Doors as cable snapped on our door. Engineer arrived within the hour, excellent friendly & very professional engineer who supplied and fitted new cables immediately at a very reasonable cost. I Very Highly Recommend Toms Garage Doors. I will definitely use them in the future.

The engineer who repaired our garage door came within 3 hours of our phone call. He identified the problem quickly and did the necessary work immediately. The whole process was most satisfactory.

The door went wrong, unable to open only 2 days after repairs, very annoyed after what I think is a hefty charge. Of £ 432. Secondly i had to ring for my receipt and account which didn't say what repairs and parts fitted. Will ring Monday morning for it to be put right
Not very happy to leave a brand new car out overnight against motarbilty agreement

Charged £450 for approximately 35minutes work to change two cables on the garage door for my 89year old mam.No joy when I rang up & complained. I asked for a receipt which was supposed to be emailed but never came. I think they took her eyes out.

The Engineer arrived at 3/32pm and spent 8 minutes exactly adjusting my garage door usind small screwdriver and hammer. it took him just 8 minutes in total .I personally think the cost £120 was extravagant considering the amount of time spent for a small adjustment to door. Sorry in my opinion my review I don’t recommend your service to be fair .

The website said appointments available. I booked one. They failed to turn up or ring . I queried it with them - they said they couldn’t promise to turn up and suggested I have an appt next week. … meanwhile the website still says appointments available for today. Scam written all over this. I’ve got zero confidence in them now. No doubt my easy fix would be ‘needs a new door’ .. my door can wait. There’s so many garage door companies out there . I’ll find one with decent customer service.

excellent engineer,respected my property and did a great repair job,very essy to order ,vey polite….only bad thing,unit fitted, on googie found on ssle for £180,i was charged £550, bit dissapointed to say the least….
