Titre : Remboursement admis mais jamais versé - Pratiques abusives
Avis : J'ai été prélevée de 49,00 € sans autorisation. Bien que le service client reconnaisse me devoir ce remboursement (mail de leur "Compliance Officer"), ils bloquent volontairement le processus en exigeant mon IBAN/RIB.
Ma banque (Nickel) confirme qu'aucun remboursement n'a été tenté sur ma carte d'origine, contrairement à ce qu'affirme Top Up Mobile. Il est techniquement possible de recréditer une carte sans coordonnées bancaires supplémentaires. C'est une tactique dilatoire inacceptable.
Une mise en demeure a été envoyée et j'ai saisi SignalConso (DGCCRF) pour pratiques commerciales trompeuses. J'ai également lancé une procédure de "Chargeback" via ma banque pour récupérer mes fonds. Fuyez ce site qui retient l'argent de ses clients.
Title: Refund acknowledged but never paid - Unacceptable tactics
Review: I was charged €49.00 without authorization. Even though their "Compliance Officer" explicitly acknowledged that I am owed a refund, they are deliberately stalling the process by demanding my IBAN/bank details.
My bank (Nickel) has confirmed that NO refund attempt was ever made to my original payment card, despite Top Up Mobile’s claims. Refunding a card transaction does not require an IBAN; this is a clear delay tactic.
I have sent a formal notice and filed an official complaint with the French Fraud Authorities (DGCCRF - SignalConso). A "Chargeback" procedure has also been initiated through my bank to recover the funds. Stay away from this service—they admit they owe you money but refuse to pay it back via secure standard channels.

Disgusting sales practices
Disgusting sales practices.
After purchasing 10 pounds top up I was sent a voucher and pin code - Charge included a service charge of 1.89 pounds which I was unaware of. I month late I am charged a further 11.89 pounds which I had not agreed to. At no time did I enter into any agreement however I have learnt that because I selected auto-top up then an agreement was in place.
Basically they automatically charge each month unless you contact them and claim a refund!

This website is dangerous
This website is dangerous, deceitful, and fraudulent. As soon as you buy ten euros worth of credit from them, they immediately steal 49 euros. They have a fake subscription they use as proof. They will return my money, or I will gather all the victims and sue them.

would go zero stars if was an option. bought some cards off the site , never worked properly . never received voucher after purchase always had to contact the support team. took me almost 24 hours to get my voucher. definitely wouldn’t use them again.

It’s easy to use and great when stores…
It’s easy to use and great when stores are closed but pricey. I am in the Gambia at the moment and most often can’t get to a Africell store and they don’t sell data online, so end up using a service like this and almost pay double the price of the data. 10GB data from Africell is D950.0 which in pounds is £9.84
but from TopUp costs around D1652.07 in pounds £17.11. Pricey when people know you are limited on options they always hike the prices.
Have had a reply from TopUp and it seems that they only add a service charge, which is reasonable. Anything else added is from the service provider ie Africell and not done by TopUp. Thank you TopUp for making that clear.
Have seen a few negative reviews and think it is the customers who either misunderstood or made mistakes is a good reliable service to use if you’re unable to purchase directly from providers shop or provider has no online purchase options. It’s always a good idea to check things out before opening your mouth with negative comments. Self included.

Some of the operators to whom you send recharges could also charge a VAT, but unfortunately that is something we cannot control, as we have no control over the exchange rate, that is also imposed by the local operator.
