The most important service Tour Hero can provide is reliable transfers from the airport on arrival and to the airport at departure. Our transfer information and service were deplorable. We were not given accurate information on how the transfer was organized among passengers and were not told where to meet. We walked back and forth between terminals at the Punta Cana airport trying to find the shuttle. The exact same problem happened with the next group because the tour company providing the transfer (Sunside Travel) used one driver to transport three separate groups. It was doomed to fail. When leaving our resort, the shuttle was an hour late and we called a cab. We were almost late for our flight. It was very stressful.

Chrissy did a great job. Though the yoga could have been more challenging. And there could have been more philosophical discussion.

The airport transfer and cabs were quite stressful and that is why I’d didnt give it four stars.

The food at the resort was absolutely fantastic.

The transport to and from the resort was badly organized with no specific directions on where to find the driver on arrival and we had to wait an hour and a half before our driver arrived. Also the transport was over an hour late arriving at the resort to take the first group back to the airport.

Tour hero was very good for information and payment options prior to the trip. The company they contracted for both airport pickup and drop off was a complete disaster. No or very little communication, inaccurate information on how to find the pickupdriver, and no identified meeting spot. The return pickup was very delayed (but kept saying the driver was a bit delayed or would be there shortly both of which were untrue) resulting in an extremely stressful situation and nearly a missed flight home.

Yoga was first class with Chrissy and the retreat was lovely
Great food
Great massage and mud bath
Airport transfers were chaos
Not enough outside chairs or sun beds to sit and enjoy the grounds / pool

Great communication before and during the trip! They thought everything through and provided us with everything we needed to prepare. Everyone was also extremely nice!

I recently completed an international retreat organized by TourHero. It was a great experience and I would definitely work with them again. Two things stood out - the amount of accurate, detailed information that was shared, and the personal, caring staff.
Everything ran smoothly, I knew what to expect and when. I also felt I had support from the company should it be needed. The planning was superb; the trip was a great.

Everything was planned to perfection! From our stay to the excursions. We had a fantastic time, thank you your hero for helping us plan & making this an amazing hassle free trip.

TourHero partners in Bolivia worked really fast, they send us the itinerary within 3 days, also having their support on everything we need was really helpful, about our destination it was simply magical!

We look forward to doing another trip with TourHero!

The trip was not at all value for money . I would have loved to have more organized events, paid dinners, welcome drinks and other places packed into the itinerary

Costa Rica was beautiful; you guys did a great job coordinating the trip.

Awesome experience with a group!

TourHero helped our yoga studio go on a retreat in Costa Rica. It was wonderful having a professional spearhead everything, and someone to keep us on task with keeping all our travel documents and schedules up to date. I didn't organize the trip so don't know how easy they were to work with, but from the user side the experience was wonderful!

The whole trip rocked. We had great lodgings, and fantastic guides for all of our activities. Would recommend 100%!

TourHero handled the details and the unexpected issues of our trip to Costa Rica with expertise and
clear communications. They were prompt in responses. And, while I never met anyone from
TourHero in person, I felt there was a personal touch
to their service. The handling of pre-trip information and billing was helpful and easy to access.

The customer service was responsive, respectful and accurate. Accomodations and meals at Finca Luna Nueva Lodge were exceptional. Transportation was on time and the drivers were safe. The events were true to description and very good quality.

Dislike:
- Hiroshima was the most expensive add-on, and we only spent 30 minutes at the museum. I felt rushed when I expected to have the opportunity and time to walk around for more time.
- Last-minute changes to the itinerary without informing the attendees. For example, the TeamLab visit will be in the morning, instead of the afternoon as initially planned.
- Hotel in Tokyo was of a low quality. Super small room. I didn't like it and didn't feel comfortable.

Everything was perfect, seamless. Thank you for allowing us to have such a magical experience.

I went on a TourHero yoga retreat recently in Costa Rica and it was just amazing! Everything about it was perfect and all I had to do was show up and all the details (excursions, travel to/from places, meals etc) was taken care of!

I liked the smooth operation of the itinerary. Even though it could be challenging to manage all the people participating in the trip, guides managed very well in bringing people together to move and gather. The trip could have been better if there were some explanations of where we are at. For example, I expected some kind of explanation on the city of Tokyo when travelling through a cruise - there was no explanation, and the cruise was merely used for transportation.
