I would not recommend using Tour Hero for traveling. We had many issues just because we had 6 people vs 8 for the trip. This quota was not disclosed when booking. We paid a flat fee and then ended up having to pay extra for a different air bnb so that we wouldn’t have to stay above a nightclub with loud music until 5am. When our surfing lessons got cancelled, they weren’t going to refund us and instead tried to replace the activity with things that we weren’t interested in doing. The price also didn’t include a tip for our tour guide.

We had an amazing trip. The itinerary and guides were wonderful. The biggest issue I had was a lack of communication of plans. We didn’t receive actual times or details for things until the night before or day of, even after our group repeatedly requested more details so we could prepare prior and during our trip.

Thanks TourHero for the opportunity to host a trip in Guatemala. I enjoyed the process from beginning to end. Your promptness in helping myself and those who joined me on this trip made it easy to prepare before travels. I appreciate all you did and would recommend your services for anyone planning on hosting a group to another country. Thanks to you and the guides in Guatemala for all your support.

We had an MBA Trip planned with TourHero and once they have your money, there's no way they're giving back. Many of us had to cancel or adjust it, but they are completely unreasonable. No refund, no credit, and no access to the tickets you have bought until the day before the event so you can't sell them to others.

Update: there are a lot of inconsistent information. They told us the last day to sign up for the trek was 42 days before the trip, because they said they needed to buy the tickets. However, they keep accepting people until now.
My first contact asking for a refund was through the trek organizer 18days before and by that time many attractions other than Carnival tickets hadn’t been bought and could have been refunded. There’s absolutely no dialogue with this company. ZERO refund or credit even after deducting any incurred cancellation costs, not mentioning extremely poor customer service. They could easily be flexible since they are a pretty small startup but they rather make everything more difficult and keep your money.
Just be aware when doing business with them and expect a lot of stress.

TourHero planned an epic trip for my girlfriend’s birthday and our group of friends. They organized transportation, housing, and activities all for a great price! Highly recommend for any group trips, Tour Hero helps with all the planning and makes it so easy!

TourHero made planning my trip so much easier! The process from beginning to end was so great and helpful. You give them dates and a budget and ideas of activities and they're able to put together such a fun trip! I highly recommend!

Kerry and her friends helped us mostly on the Iceland trip. TBH it is hard for working through all the plans for a 7days trip. We did change a massive amount of things during the process. Kerry was super patient in explaining things to us, she is well-organized on tickets and the entire plan. Moreover, with the issue happening during the trip, she helped us solve the problem efficiently. People who met on the trip were truly jealous of us for having such a great supporter on our back haha. Definitely an A+ for her, and I will recommend Tourhero, especially Kerry as an agent to them.

Tourhero made our vacation life very easy. I also liked that they messaged us in real time when a bump came up in the road and they quickly solved it.

Thank you TourHero, especially Rohit, for planning our trip to Jamaica! It was activity-filled and well thought out, particularly with the hiring of our local photographer, Pedro. However, there were times when I felt that TourHero could've researched more into the logistics of the trip (such as on COVID testing, or on what to bring to each activity e.g. water shoes that we ended up having to buy / borrow twice) to prevent stress from all parties involved, as well as have back-up plans set when things didn't run accordingly to plan. I appreciate the effort Rohit and the team put into making sure that everything ended up okay when we ran into issues - the customer support was great!

Room for Improvement

I think overall, the trip was enjoyable and affordable. That said, there was definitely room for improvement. I was not a huge fan of the resort that was selected. If I were there on a family vacation, it may have been more enjoyable, but I didn't really want to be around little children and unfortunately, I couldn't really get away from those families when on the resort. Additionally, the food wasn't all too good nor were the drinks, but again, that's all to do with the quality of the resort.

Moving on to the activities, I was actually really glad to have those scheduled, It added a lot more color and adventure to a vacation where I expected to laze around all day. That said, I do wish a little more research was done on the companies TourHero worked with. Beginning with the buggies, our guides were incredibly kind and knowledgable. However, the buggies kept breaking down, adding a lot of stop-go to our trips. Additionally, it would have been nice to know ahead of time that we should wear our bathing suits and expect to swim. This was very unclear the day of the event.

The next day was our trip to the Island. That was really fun, but there were a number of issues with transportation. It's unclear what the specific problem was, but we waited in a gas station parking lot for what felt like 45 minutes. On a trip that's probably an hour long. So that wasn't too ideal.

I highly recommend that TourHero email out an itinerary 24-48 hours before the trip with suggestions on how to dress/prepare for the evening. It also would've been helpful to have a clear idea of what to expect traveling internationally after Covid-19. I think that would've made things a lot easier.

I had a great time in Jamaica !! Tour Hero, and specifically Rohit, was always attentive and talking with us the entire time. From responding to questions late at night to buying us towels when the boat forgot to provide them, he and the Tour Hero team were committed to making sure our trip went as smoothly as possible. The itinerary they planned for us was amazing, and I loved having our photographer Pedro with us the entire time — he really made the trip and was a blast to have on all of our adventures! I’d definitely recommend Tour Hero to friends who want to plan trips together because it takes the hassle out of having to find and book activities, hotels, and airport transfers — you just sign up and go!

I had a fantastic vacation in Jamaica due to Rohit and the Tour Hero team. The activities the company planned for us were fun and memorable. The resort we stayed at was convenient and all-inclusive. The Tour Hero team were with us every step of the way! Some highlights included cliff jumping at the Cool Blue Hole and the catamaran cruise. I can't wait to go on another trip with Tour Hero!

Oh the trip was amazing!!! TourHero really helped facilitate the trip so that it would've gone as smooth as possible, by answering all our question and helping us with booking COVID tests, as well as adjusting all the rides because of flight delays and other change in schedule (which happened a lot due to the weather and COVID-related issues). The experience was definitely once in a lifetime, things like swimming with dolphins, ziplining, climbing waterfalls. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip and now I'm constantly wishing to be back to enjoy such a fun time with TourHero!

I'd always wanted to visit South America, and when I had the chance to lead a group to Ecuador with TourHero, I jumped at the opportunity. TourHero set me up with their trusted on-site tour operator and I shared what interested me about Ecuador and what types of adventures I'd like to include in my group trip. They were extremely accommodating and fit nearly everything into a 7-day trip complete with private transfers, a skilled driver, and a knowledgeable guide (we now all follow each other on Instagram).
Both TourHero and the tour operator were quick to respond with answers to all my questions, and the trip went seamlessly.

My trip to Jamaica during president's weekend has been extremely enjoyable and memorable. I don't know what we would've done without TourHero, Rohit, and the other amazing individuals who assisted us on our journey. TourHero ensured that as soon as we landed we were taken care of. Even when a friend lost a suitcase they brought it back to her without a hitch. The transportation was top-notch, especially at somewhere like Jamaica. They were even able to smooth over the troublesome Covid-19 travel regulations. I can't wait to see the blue hole again... Jumping into that bottomless pool was a dream come true. Yeaman!

TourHero was very reliable before and during our trip. Even when some complications arose involving covid testing delays, they were able to quickly modify the itinerary such that we could still enjoy all of the activities that were planned. They responded quickly and always made sure to check in regularly and provide extra support
