A good app, with lots of good features. It was a bit hard to cancel the free trial as it had to be done via email, there was also a small hiccup with this but it was quickly rectified.

This company only makes promises so they can take your money. When we signed up for the camp, they were very responsive to me and sent all that they were offering. However, the camp itself left a lot to be desired. Only 1 coach showed up and he reached late the first day. My son had fun and was asked to leave a review and he gave them 5 stars. For the money spent however, it wasn't worth it (he won't know the value of money). In addition, due to issues at the camp (coach reaching late), Train Effective promised to upgrade my son's account as an apology. However, almost 2 months later and despite numerous messages, it seems that was yet another promise make that they did not intend to keep. The previously responsive person has not replied to a single message I sent. All my messages are left on read and the support team are still 'looking into it'. Be very careful with this company's false promises.

Recently went on one of their camps in Miami and overall had a great experience. The hotel chosen was in a good era with a lot around it, the facilities used were great, and having Lee as our coach there helped me improve a lot as a player and gel easily with the other players with his help too. The drills he implemented for us made sure to make us work on our technical and physical skills while trying to make us learn how to play as a team before the showcase game as well.

Only down side for the camp was the catering would often be late with food and it would arrive lukewarm or cold by the time it got to us and lack of additional staffing. There was no physio or media personal with us for our camp, resulting in a lot of issues with both recovery and treatment if someone was injured during the camp. Other than that, I have no complaints about the camp and overall was a good experience to have with train effective.

Overall, we had an amazing time.I will start with the location, it was very strategic because it was 2 minutes to the practice field, As far as the food I'll be honest, it was appreciated, but wasn't the best. However, we weren't there for the food we were there for the training. So let me get to that. The coach did an amazing job worked very hard. We were out there twice a day on average learning new strategies as well as the class afterwards, Which also was a great benefit to learn inside knowledge, especially about dieting, we hope train effective can be a yearly thing within the U.S, thanks for everything. This camp was an absolute amazing experience. The trainings, the schedule and especially the coach were really great and I recommend this camp to everyone, who wants to get better at Football and also find some new mates.

The camp is exactly what you sign up for, it’s elite, it pissed me off a little because people would find a way to complain about it anyway even though they were getting all the information and things needed yet still complained, only go if you’re serious about bettering yourself and the people around you, like coach lee said “it only takes one person with the wrong mindset to make everything fall apart” great coach btw

The structure of the camp made my experience great. I enjoyed the professionalism and I most definitely think that it’s something that I can get used to , I also enjoyed the training but I think that as an elite camp the player pool could be improved , for future reference you can also consider hiring a photographer and getting a bro to record training sessions but overall I had a great time at the train effective camp .

I thought the camp to be amazing personally the hotel was near the field and the food was served to us everyday making it easy to get food. Also the drills and recovery we did help me a lot. This camp helped me better myself mentally and physically as a player and im forever grateful to be apart of it and to be giving this opportunity.

It was a great time here. I got a lot of new things to learn and know how it is to go pro. I learned about nutritions we need to give to our body as a player and how we need to recover ourselves from the games.

I liked the train effective camp because I got to train with older boys and I am only 12 I played with like 16 years old I like the coach he had a bunch of backgrounds I would definitely go to this camp again.

Not sure about the app use as of yet however I was double billed and 4 emails later and 3 weeks later and still zero response from the company on this. Also no way of CANCELLING the subscription in the app itself, pretty handy on their part.

Train effective took thousands of dollars from me and refused to return even a portion of it.

After my son was on the end of a significant injury a couple of months before the camp we contacted them with all the doctors notes and injury reports to verify why he would not be able to attend the event. He had been the previous year and had a decent experience. We were repeat customers and even referred a friend to them.

We were told when we signed up that they would work with us if such an unfortunate event would occur. We asked upfront because this was such a large investment when plane tickets were calculated into our costs. They told us they were reasonable and were not out to take advantage of people. This was not true at all.

They had plenty of time to fill the camp spot. Based on the last minute changes we had seen the previous year this was easy for them to do. So they lost no money, but kept mine without a second thought. After reaching out via email I waited months between responses and had to really persist to try and elevate this situation to someone further up the chain because no one was communicating with me.

6+ months later I eventually received an email that told me I would not get a refund. Not even a partial return. At some point they did offer my son a spot on another camp which he was not available to attend.

In the mean time my friend's son was able to attend the camp (this is how long this dragged on). Unfortunately I heard some pretty terrible reviews from them. Their son had been underfed and undertrained the entire time. Lots of hanging out doing nothing and feeling hungry. Sessions were cancelled and he was bored. They were so disappointed that they had sent him to the UK for this camp that they sought out another camp for him to attend directly afterwards so his trip was not a complete waste of time.

Based on this update of what this camp had become and the fact that so much time had passed my son was set on his path and would have had to postpone a good opportunity to attend a poorly reviewed camp the following year. It was no longer a viable option.

Months later my son was contacted by a rep to attend another camp. My son explained that they still had our money from before. He got a big apology and was told that if we sent all the payment and enrollment proof the rep would look into it and fix the issue...That's the last we heard, and the rep never communicated again

As a business owner I am disappointed with any company that hides behind an unreasonable "policy". That shows no compassion for it's attendees and families and is more interested in finding ways to keep your money than doing the fair thing.

I would have been happy with some level of understanding and a percentage returned to me. But after many months of trying to find someone who might communicate properly with me, there was no such interest. Not even for a repeat customer that had sent a referral their way. This was once a reasonable option, but it has seemed to have evolved into an organization that is purely about the money. The training experience takes second place. Very sad.

What an absolute scam. This is a money grab for people outside the UK for kids that have the drive to become a soccer player. DON'T BUY IT.

The atmosphere was really good and made new friends over there. Also gained experience from coaches and players and made connections. Would recommend it.

Attended the camp twice, it was an amazing experience unforgettable coaches were very good personally I’ve improved physically and mentally with the help of the coaches specially coach Simon one of my favorite coaches, made good friends there and it was very well worth the long flights and the waits as well as the price only the quality of the food could be better but other than that amazing atmosphere good facilities the hotel staff were very friendly

Great coaches, staff and facilities provided. Top class coaching and detailed feedback on improvement and learning to become a professional footballer.
