Honestly the worst experience, Transcription staff is not an equal employer, top it off they don't pay you for work done, I would never advise anyone to that company

The experience is not bad. The comments on my tasks are reasonable and their targets are achievable. The support staff are always there to assist. I haven't experienced the negative stuff that others are saying, maybe because Transcription Staff works quite well if you also produce quality work. One thing I want to improve, though, is to give other options for paying. I do have Paypal but I was taken aback by paypal's fund holding policy. Although the problem is with Paypal, at least Transcription Staff admin might want to consider other payment options if possible.

This company does not value their employee,
the employee help center filters what they respond to. When it comes to queries regarding my pay they won't reply.

When you raise a concern regarding an audio file rating, you're hit with a "We can't do anything about that" because apparently, it is not mandatory for proofreaders to rate your work.

Unfortunately for me, I had 12 works submitted, and only 8 of them were rated. I tried to raise awareness that my 4-star should be changed into a 5-star because audio clearly stated Verbatim: YES on the memo so that's what I did. But only works with 2-star ratings are appealable.

My average rating obviously went down because only 8/12 were rated. Then they hit you thru the help center with the "Then it seems like you're not submitting quality work".

It was a very disappointing company and a traumatizing experience for a starting scribe. Will not be recommending this to my future clients as a VA.

The proofreaders DO NOT rate ALL the works, so in my case, I can't appeal for my 3 stars and 4 stars because you only have an 'appeal' link if your rating is 2 stars, I had 8/12 works rated, and the ones that I did perfectly were unfortunately the ones that had gone unrated.

I was under the impression that ALL the works would get rated so I decided to work twice as hard and unfortunately for me it backfired, only 8/12 were rated so naturally the average will not be do me any good unless I get all 8 rated in 5 stars, only the audio which gave me a hard time (because it sounded awful and incomprehensible) were rated.

I would have worked so well for this job had they only given me a chance, I'm stuck at a 3.40 rating when I know I would've been a higher rating if only all my works were rated.

I believe in karmic energy, and if what the rumors are saying is true about this site. Then I hope God be with everyone who corrupts good and honest people trying to make a living.

I'm pretty sure a prompt script would be replied to this feedback, and they'll say "We expect ALL your works to be of quality work.." Or somewhere along the lines of "It's your fault you weren't perfect" when they can't even rate our work as stated in the guide they had given.

It's a good thing that I like documenting milestones in my life so I recorded every bit of experience I went through and will talk about my experience in a different platform soon.

I worked there for 12 days! Everyday, they gave me 5 star rating/good QA rating. It was supposed to be Payday on Monday, and then all of a sudden they terminate my account due to "WRONG SPEAKER LABEL" AS IF!!! WRONG LABEL MY ASS!!!! A FUNNY EXCUSE FOR YOUR SCAMMING! I worked my ass off just to give you the best output! AND I DON'T GET A PAY FOR THAT???? ZERO TOLERANCE MY ASS! YOU AND YOUR FUNNY EXCUSES! SCAMMERS! YOUR DOWNFALL WILL COME! TIME WILL TELL!

The work and the pay was worth it. Live chat support was helpful, though could have been a bit more friendly.

It is my first time to do this type of job and I must say that I am not quite familiar with this. But with the help of the guides given at the very start, I am learning and quite having the grasp of what I am doing and I am surprised that I did most of my job correct given that I am still learning how to transcribe.

Transcriptionstaff helped me to earn money and gave me opportunity to have an experience.

This is one the best companies to give your transcription task to. I can guarantee you that the transcribers are really committed to what they do.

This company allowed me to showcase my skills as a proofreader and also, a transcriber. What I like most about this company is the people behind it. The staff who provides assistance, whenever needed.

Overall a positive experience. Given ample time to finish files. Quick to provide feedback and direction.

Everything in our life we've been experience a lot of obstacles,but there is one way to solve the problem.Is you have to put on trust in God not in you're understanding.

So far working with the company have been good there's room for growth. There's always opportunities to improve

I just have 3 concerns. First, the delete account button; I think you guys can do away with that or at least find another way to help staff that no longer want to work with you terminate their accounts. As it is currently, you make it is too easy for any malicious person with access to a staff's computer to easily terminate the account against your wish.
2. If QC, AI or Proofreader is rejecting a file, can it be highlighted for the proofreader, or the next proofreader because more often that not, it is just a small section of the work that has a problem, which even the next proofreader might fail to notice.
3. I had work that had been accepted and submitted like 5 days earlier rejected again, like the way AI QC rejects work. Another case; I had submitted work on a Saturday and the work gets moved and recorded that I completed it on a Monday. Such cases always end up costing us the 30% bonus even though it is not your fault. Otherwise, good experience so far.

Great platform
I think Transcription Staff is a great company. They offer a chance for both transcribers and proofreaders to grow their skills. Most importantly, I love the Customer Support. Always ready to assist.

I have been working here for the past six months and the experience has been very good. I've had my highs and lows with the company, but they have all been learning experiences and I appreciate all the highs and lows. I would also like to appreciate the Customer Support team, they are always ready to help and always answer whenever you ask something. Also, they pay every week and you also get to enjoy the 30% bonus if you hit your target each week. All in all, positive work environment and there is opportunity for growth in the company.
