Poor customer service… just got poorer
UPDATE:
Following on from my generous one star review below, I had an email from Tretorn saying they have now resolved their issues with DPS. They duly emailed a label to attach to the return but it requires a printer which I don’t have - they have no digital return facility! Tretorn advised that the DPS drop off people would print this for me.
Not so. It transpires, after visiting two separate DPS drop-offs, that four pages need to be printed for the return, plus I would have to put the items in a clean bag not reuse the original packaging because it has an old label attached.
I went to a print shop and it turns out that the cost of printing plus the £9 return fee plus a plastic bag to post in will cost me more than a quarter of the original purchase price of the coat. This is an example of why you should never buy from click on advertisements on Facebook.
I either lose a quarter of the purchase price and return it, allowing this company to resell the item and profit from me once more, or cut my losses and just put it in the wardrobe.
In the interest of fairness, I will point out that they have offered me a 10% discount code on my next purchase 😂
BEWARE… THINK TWICE
.I purchased a coat which was too small, so I bought the next size up and prepared to return the smaller coat. You have to have a form from Treton before you can make your return and because they’re having problems with their carrier I cannot return it. I’m now stuck with a coat that can’t be sent back. they have failed to reply to my last email and I don’t know what is going on.
Whilst they did write initially and say they would extend the 30 day returns period, this does not help with the fact that I have paid for two coats which I can not afford to do. I am a nurse and this was a very expensive purchase for me so having to pay twice for it has left me in a difficult position.
If I have a reply from the company I will update this review but for the moment all I can report is appalling service

I purchased a pair of black short…
I purchased a pair of black short Tretorn boots from the Nordic outdoor shop in Keswick in march this year and they have both split on the tops in the same places,
Email Tretorn and they explained I need to contact the shop I purchased them from which is fine, as I already did and heard nothing back, funny thing was Tretorn replied, We are truly sorry to hear that your product has broken. Unfortunately, this is not an issue we recognize. They need to read some reviews online and I wish I did before I purchased them.

As your boots were purchased through a retailer, the warranty process does need to go through them. That said, we absolutely understand how disappointing it is not to receive a response from the store, and we’re sorry that our initial message came across as dismissive. That was never our intention.

Not worth it very bad quality - last less than 6 months!
Myself and my partner bought these boots for dog walking. We are not doing anything strenuous or rough just walking on the beach or in the forest. Both pairs split across the top within a few months and the lining came away in my partners boots. Very, very disappointing, especially as there seems to be lots of reviews on Trustpilot stating the same issue - so obviously a known issue to the company. I would not recommend these boots to anyone - absolute rip off!

Kritisk kvalitet
Har reklamerat deras regnskor, Low Neo Terrain två gånger via en återförsäljare. Plus för att jag fått tillbaka pengarna både gångerna men det är inte acceptabelt att skorna inte håller i mer än 1-1,5 års sporadiskt användande. Hål i sula till och med. Har Tretorn tappat sitt kvalitet? Vågar jag köpa deras andra produkter? Jag vet inte, prislapparna är ganska höga. Då vill man att det håller i några år.

Initial product and returns issue, but great customer service now
I ordered 2 pairs of boots - both the same size on 2 Dec. But there was a marked difference in sizing of 2cm on length and width of boot. Once they arrived - ages - I wrote back on 11th as I needed to return them. Took ages for response and finally they sent wrong labels on 18th Dec and I am still waiting for response. Their customer service is poor and returns impossible. I love their boots but will never purchase from them again. Klarna chasing for payment pf both boots and yet I am unable to return pair after several emails to Tretorn - last one on 18th Dec and followed up today.
UPDATE: 29 March
My initial review of 1 star has been updated. Due to Trustpilot error, my review was only posted recently, but Tretorn responded promptly. Due to their recent customer communication, plus a change in their returns policy, I have changed my review to 4 stars. It’s not 5, because it doesn’t change the fact that there was a huge difference in sizing. But their customer service would be 5 stars. Thank you Tretorn for restoring my faith

Regarding the sizing differences, the Garpa and Arch models have distinct sizing as the Garpa is based on men’s measurements, while the Arch is a women’s model. Additionally, the wool lining in the Arch boots can make them feel smaller initially. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
We also regret the delays in our communication and the problems with the return labels. We agree that this process should have been quicker and smoother, and we have taken steps to improve our returns system, especially for customers outside the EU, to ensure a better experience in the future.

I highly recommend "TRETORN" because…
I highly recommend "TRETORN" because they manufacture high quality stylish products for all the family. Should you ever have an issue with a product you buy as I recently did, then contact customer service with all the relevant information including, photographs and the order number. In my case CS responded so quickly on "Sunday" I was really surprised. And within a couple of hours they responded in a positive manner, resolving my issue by offering the option to replace my used product or accept a full refund. I was not expecting such a positive outcome but their understanding and goodwill is this matter concern is much appreciated.
