Bought few items from them online, had good experience. Received my items that were available on site on time. Some items are on Back Order, and thats hwy people may be complaining, but I had a back order which took couple of weeks which is expected, but it has now been sent out. No item ever delivered
No item ever delivered, no email replies, nobody picked up the phone. Had to start a dispute through my bank to be reimbursed

Ordered mother of dragons box for soiaf…
Ordered mother of dragons box for soiaf miniatures game in 27th November for a Xmas present for my son. Paid using Apple Pay so it all went through quickly. Box was in stock listed as only 2 left. Did not get a confirmation email. Checked credit card and money had been taken. It’s now the 8th December item has not arrived no response to my emails or telephone calls. Sent email through their website as well no reply. Zero communication. Looking at these other positive reviews I doubt they are real because there is zero communication when I just needed confirmation that this had gone through correctly. Website says 48hr delivery if item is in stock! Interestingly they now list the item as last one left! Don’t buy from them
No communication
I ordered item that wasn't in stock and I was supposed to be informed of status after 2 weeks if not shipped.
Week after order I emailed to check if they know anything with no reply. Week later I asked them to update me about the order as promised on the website and had no answer. Next day I was trying to call the shop and nobody was answering the phone. Next day I called again and messaged on fb. I got reply on fb that the stock is coming that week and I will receive it late that week or early next. On Friday same week I asked for update and they haven't received stock yet, I replied asking for date when they will get the stock.
Next week I messaged, called and emailed for 3 days with no response. On the third day I got told the stock is delayed till December.
I do not recommend this shop at all. There is no communication and customer service is very poor. Save yourself time and trouble and order from somewhere else.
My experience
Made an order, unaware of the bad reviews. Got an email confirming the order and a few days went by and I called to see what was happening as I hadnt had any other communication about it being dispatched. Both phone numbers always went to voicemail and I never got a call back. I emailed and received no reply. Finally, after a week I got a dispatch email and my order arrived a couple of days later. I won't be using them again. There is zero communication and I wonder how they're still in business.
Thought I’d take a chance on this…
Thought I’d take a chance on this seller to buy a case of mtg products. I was a bit worried at first given the negative reviews but after reaching out to Steve my mind was put at ease and I was assured they’d have the products and that these reviews were just a small minority. I did explain at the time that I needed as close to a guarantee as possible given that if I took the chance with him despite the feedbacks I wouldn’t have an opportunity to purchase said products elsewhere come launch as they were selling out. I was informed that they were only showing products that were ‘in stock and ready to ship’ so with that in mind and being somewhat hopeful I decided to give them a shot. 2 days following the release I had still not received any confirmation of shipping and this is where my fears were realised. After direct messaging twice online (each a day apart) I was finally informed that my order was not going to be fulfilled. Absolutely devastated as this was a product I’d been looking forward to receiving more than I have any other in a long long time. I really wanted this to work out and am so sad that it didn’t. To that end, I can’t recommend this company and it would appear the previous negative feedbacks were justified.
Very poor service
My first time placing an order with them, and unfortunately my last. Customer service non-existent. They DO NOT reply to emails.
I paid extra for First Class Tracked postage. They instead posted 48hr Tracked but didn't supply me a tracking number. When I eventually got an email from Royal Mail and I used tracking number on it, it showed the company hadn't posted the parcel when they said they had. Not a way to get repeat custom.... there are plenty of other very good model suppliers out there.
Friendly great value shop!
Excellent shop. Steve has always been very helpful and friendly answering queries and helping with orders / preorders. Easily my go to shop as their prices are great too.
My first order
I treated to myself to some hobby and paid a little extra for fast delivery.
Not impressed at all. I got some of it late, had some of it cancelled for me, at least i got a nice story of how it is GWs fault.

Good prices and very good customer service. Spent a while on the phone to Tracy going through an order I had to amend. It eventually became clear that I wouldn't get the products in time so cancelled the order ultimately, but impressed with how everything was dealt with.

Like previous reviewers, I pre-ordered a box set from them for a GW release, saving around £30
The product was still available on GW when I pre-ordered, It came to the Monday after release and I looked at my account which said back ordered, GW don't do re prints very often so I knew then it wasn't coming, got in touch, got told I'd get a refund which then took a week to go back to paypal.
I wont touch them again for anything and neither will the friends I've told about the horror story

Love these guys
Great service. Really friendly staff and the cheapest consistent prices I've found anywhere.
I've also been really impressed by the fairness and transparency from their 2nd hand buying service.
Granted they could probably carry more stock and be open longer but this would more than likely impact their ability to price so low so its a small price to pay, and one I'm more than happy with.
I've seen negative reviews about delays to orders and lack of stock. The information for THW's business model is right at the top of their homepage. If people read this first instead of just seeing savings there'd be less grumpy people complaining about their own inability to read instructions

Absolutely gutted that I have just found out that the order I placed on the day of release, will not be mine.
I have very limited budget now and ordered the Imperial Knight detachment on the day of release. (This was partly my fault as I didn't see the small print about a back order).
So instead of saving £25 it will now cost me an extra £40 now as this item is not available in any store.
My fault also by being seduced by the low prices as I missed out of getting this item from my normal online stores and now even sold out online in GW.
If their defence they did email every step of the way but didnt receive any information as I have a hotmail account.

Prices Gone Up
Used to love using Triple Helix Wargames tomorder Games Workshop stuff but they’ve now put their prices up, to the point on some items you’re only saving 50p. Never had a bad experience but when you’re looking to purchase from them to save money, 50p against what you used to save of £3/£4 an item just doesn’t cut it
