Bought an "offical" Triumph Motorcycles…
Bought an "offical" Triumph Motorcycles t shirt from Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. The quality is awful. Its like a cheapo Primark t-shirt with a sewn on Union flag label. No offence to Primark, their t-shirts are reasonably priced for what they are. This however is ridiculously over priced at £45, I got it at a sale price of £22, and even that's more than its worth. How difficult would it be to produce a quality white shirt with the 60's logo on it in the same blue colour as the workshop manuals instead of all these daft designs? Obviously impossible. Triumph like to trade on their past heritage whilst simultaneously serving up rubbish like this. Way overpriced for such poor quality clothing. Disappointing
Ordered a bike battery for my husband’s…
Ordered a bike battery for my husband’s bike. Spoke to Carl. Asked if it could be charged before we picked it up on the first call. Called again 2 days later and advised the battery had just been delivered. Carl advised he would make sure it would be charged before collection on Saturday. Travelled from Grantham to collect battery. The service desk advisor advised it hadn’t been charged after trying to call several people. She said she would charge it and could we come back in an hour. We went back 2 hours later. The service desk advisor hadn’t checked the battery prior to us going back, but when she did said it looked faulty. She was unable to get hold of someone on a call to check and asked us to wait a bit longer. At this point I said to leave it. Had it been charged when it arrived and found to be faulty, then we could have avoided a wasted journey. Really disappointed with the overall service and now we have to source another battery.
Triumph scrambler 400x build quality
Bought a triumph scrambler 400x Mar 2024 been ridden for only 1300 miles and only caught out in the rain once store in a shed covered over ,the build quality is terrible they have already changed a couple of panels and now the pillon rider grip has blown paint and the engine is flacking of course out of warranty now, this is my first triumph and never had a bike fail like this before
Ocean Triumph Plymouth - great support
Big thank you to Martin and Richard and the Technicians at Ocean Triumph Plymouth who got me back on the road last week. My Triumph Tiger 660 Sport developed a serious problem while on holiday abroad. Phoned Ocean from Spain and they fitted me in on a Friday afternoon as soon as I was off the Ferry and had the problem sorted within an hour, allowing me to continue on my lengthy journey in the UK. We were welcomed in, given coffee immediately, and directed to the excellent cafe upstairs to wait while the work was completed. A real life-saver and much appreciated! Recommend very highly.
2024 Triumph Street Triple r
Purchased a 2024 Street triple R bought it in May 2024 currently as of August 2025 I have 5900 miles. I’ve had two issues first one was the coolant overflow that’s right in front of the rear wheel would spill out coolant on hot days I believe my fan wasn’t working was looked at repaired and corrected. Second was my quick shifter was having trouble with shifting up and shifting down brought it in was told that they had to order apart in one of the gentleman who is repair man and has the exact same bike was able to adjust it and it works totally fine. I’m not really complaining about the bike at all it’s competition.

Ordered brand new Street triple 765r in…
Ordered brand new Street triple 765r in Baja Orange Matt, in june. Was sent the last one available from factory and was chuffed when I rode off after only a 2wk wait. Ordered bellypan when ordered the bike and was told it would be fitted ready when I collected the bike.
On collecting the bike was told the bellypan was on back order and would arrive on 4 july, then on 4 july told 11 july then 8 aug- still not arrived.
Meanwhile purchased flyscreen and seat cowl only to find complete color mismatch. Sent cowl back with many pics expecting a bad paint batch but Oh No, turns out my bike is painted the wrong color - How? Dont they use same color code in all their factories?
So the outcome is - Triumph are now going to replace all the plastic panels with new ones in the correct color (🤨), but not untill october as panels not all in stock.
This is all very well except I prefer the actual color of the bike I have and by the time its all sorted, hopefully, 4 months after purchase, it will be pretty much time to put it to bed for the winter so complete season lost not having the bike as I wanted.
There has been no apology or explanation as to how this has happened or any sort of recompense for the distress and inconvenience I have been caused.
I am tempted to hand back the keys and go to another manufacturer 🤮🤮🤮
Whole experience has spoilt what should have been a pleasurable purchase.
Bulldog Triumph Wokingham
Bulldog Triumph Wokingham, absolutely clueless and disorganised shambles. Called in on my brand new Yamaha just 2 days old and 110 miles on it, with an expensive new Graphics kit, only to look out the showroom window to see two of their staff looking at my bike with one clearly picking at several of the decals with his finger to see how well they are stuck and fixed on. I then rushed out asking why are you touching my bike and decals, to which he said sorry the sales guy who is with me, asked me to come out and value a bike and I mistakenly thought it was this one!! The one he meant to mess with was a Harley 20 feet away, the sales guy should have immediately clarified and told him, no it's not this one leave it, but just continued to observe....disgusting treatment of my brand new bike which I find totally unacceptable
Trumpy
Hi all I own now are Triumphs,Trumpy 2013 840 SE ,Speedmaster 2020 1200, partner has a Tiger 660 2023 they have pros and cons like any make or model. We have had a great run and fun with these bikes, they have always kept their end of the bargin and performed plus expectations, can be license losers...I used to own early Triumphs 1960-70's, they were unreliable & had to ride other makes. The new era Triumphs are very reliable and a pleasure to own and ride in my opinion. I recommend these bikes as a great reliable ride. Thanks Tim from NZ
Worst experience ever!!
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Triumph Mexico. My motorcycle was delivered four months later than the original promised date, which was already frustrating. However, the issues didn’t stop there.
They failed to deliver the spare key, and despite countless follow-ups over the past year, they have completely ignored me. I have reached out to multiple representatives, yet no one has provided a solution or even shown genuine concern.
The lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service is unacceptable. If you're considering purchasing from them, beware of their false promises and poor after-sales support. I expected much better, but instead, I’ve been left dealing with unresponsive and careless service.
I just want what I paid for—where is my spare key?
Bought 2nd hand BMW bike
Bought 2nd hand BMW bike, following seeing it on the website, Emerson sent us a video of the bike, explained history of it etc. Bike all ready when we arrived & drinks offered. Discussed paperwork etc, all very efficient & helpful. Very happy with service, especially with a 5hr journey!
Great help
I emailed this company today for assistance on a purchase, they kindly and promptly responded to advise they were Triumph Motorcycles instead of Triumph Lingerie. How embarrassing.
Not only did they respond but they also provided contact details for the correct company. Thanks Abi :)
Worst after sales service ever
Triumph Motorcycles in the UK has the worst after sales customer service I have ever seen in my life. I am not talking about the dealers who have always been very helpful but about the central.
I moved from Switzerland to France recently including my Triumph Thunderbird 1600 ABS that had been registered for the first time in Switzerland in 2009.
Triumph Switzerland sold me a CoC that turned out to be totally useless in France because it doesn't have the required data for a motorbike registration in France.
I had to order a special certificate for 400.- EUR (300.- EUR for the paper, roughly 100.- EUR for the inspection of the part numbers).
More than three months later, I still haven't received the document. A mail that I sent a month ago to the Triumph's technical support has never been answered.
Pure Triumph in Wellingborough are a dealership you can trust!
Pure Triumph in Wellingborough have always been a high quality dealership for the last 20 years so a recent visit to have a rear brake switch replaced was no exception done within the hour as promised. We must support these businesses as you never know when you are going to need them. Kevin and his team are a credit to the industry.

Ordered a new 400 x 8th Jan 2024
Told delivery would be late apirl or early may
Now told sometime in June
The only reason I got to know is by emailing and chasing it up . No one contacted me first
Never use them again
Unprofessional and incompetent staff.
The clutch on my Triumph Tiger 800 failed during a slow control workshop with the IAM. These workshops have about 20 people taking part, which means there is a lot of hanging about while other riders are doing the exercises through the cones, etc, so you are not riding around with your clutch in for an entire day. The bike had done 8600 miles.
I rode very carefully to West London Triumph, at that point in time Jack Lilley, for them to spend about two minutes tightening the clutch cable and then send me on my way. Covid hit and during the next two years the bike didn't do much mileage, but was still serviced twice, for which I have received no paperwork.
Then last year, while servicing the bike for the third time since the clutch failed, they couldn't understand that there was no more cable to tighten, so they finally actually checked the clutch and found that it had burned out. It cost me £620 for a new one, and they blamed my riding, as that's how we learn to ride at the IAM!
I heard from an ex Triumph tech that Tiger clutches almost came to a recall, but in the end didn't.
I spoke to someone who I thought was a Triumph employee, who turned out to be the owner of the dealership, and he hadn't heard anything about a recall and didn't even know what industry organisations they belonged to. You'd expect more from the owner!
Some other guy standing next to him decided to get involved, and said that the problem is when people slip the clutch - I had to actually ask him what he meant because I did my initial riding training in another country and the word "slip" means to "let go" in that language. It turns out Triumph think that we all sit with our clutches constantly engaged. One of their staff actually told me not to sit with my clutch in on the motorway!
When I said I had another bike in the garage - not a Triumph - that I rode in exactly the same way, and it had never had a clutch problem, they said that it was a different make and different clutch. No kidding - obviously better quality.
I approached a complete stranger who was on a Tiger, to ask if she'd had issues with her clutch, and she showed me an e-mailed apology, after she'd complained, from the same staff for treating her like an imbecile. They have been completely unmoving in their so-called customer service, blamed me for the fault their bike developed and refused to be of any help. I have since taken the bike elsewhere to have a proper and professional service done. Lousy cheap parts, lousy customer service and lousy attitude from condescending, rude and sexist staff and their boss, all the way up to head office. Avoid at all costs.
Great, friendly service.
As usual, a fantastic service from Nic at Pure Triumph Wellingborough. He made everything so easy,I was a bit apprehensive, he made it stress free. Really enjoying the new Speed 400. A real baby bonnie. Thanks.
3 times broken down ...
Bought Twin speed 900 6 months ago it has only done 2000 miles and already been in the garage twice and it's in there again waiting for them to fit it in to be repaired again with a suspected head gasket as coolant was leaking everywhere. Staff are friendly but bike is breaking down every time I go out on it!!! Should be exchanged or money back ... lost my confidence in the bike, in Lind Romford and Triumph
Question de goût.
Moto super fiable !
