tutorchase.com Reviews

We were looking for a tutor to help our daughter to prepare to the Pre IB Math exam. After we submitted our application with TutorChase, Bernard - Academic Consultant has contacted us immediately and propose lessons, the initial quick response from Bernard was great as he took action immediately, trying to help us to find a tutor which will suit our daughter's needs.
Jess - our tutor started with first trial lesson which our daughter (16) truly enjoyed. She said that Jess explained everything very clearly and patiently. Our daughter decided to continue with Jess without any hesitation and she looks forward to the next lesson. Jess is very helpful and organized she advised that our daughter uses a Student Tracker to help with the progress in her studies. We can highly recommend Jess to help you with Math. Thank you Jess.

Great experience with TutorChase platform! I've been getting help with my IB exams preparation, and the tutoring are very effective. They provide all the material and guidance to help you understand the concepts. Manager Michael has been incredibly helpful and made the entire setup process very easy. Definitely recommend their services.

Help with university entrance exams from Ollie B has been extremely helpful, would recommend to anyone.

Avoid this site if you value your money. I paid, but nothing was delivered, my emails and WhatsApp messages were ignored, and my refund request went unanswered. The lack of communication and failure to provide the promised service were major red flags. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to look elsewhere before risking their money.

They took my payment, but nothing was ever delivered. After that, they stopped responding to my emails and WhatsApp messages completely. My refund request was ignored, and I was left with no service and no resolution. Poor communication, failure to deliver, and no accountability are major red flags. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and would advise others to be very cautious before sending any money.

Jessica was a lovely tutor and explained things very simply, in a way that was easy to understand. She was very welcoming and friendly, making tutor lessons an enjoyable experience.

I've had the wonderful experience of working with Jessica Dieguez. Taking higher-level math in the IB made me realize I needed some extra support, especially during the final year. Jessica broke down complex topics, such as complex numbers and integration, into much simpler concepts and always checked that her explanations made sense. This made the lessons feel comfortable and encouraging, allowing me to ask questions and clear up any confusion I had. What I appreciated most about Jessica's teaching was that I left each lesson feeling like I truly understood the topic, rather than just knowing how to solve a single question. That made it much easier to tackle unfamiliar problems on my own and gave me much more confidence in my abilities. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience because Jessica created the perfect balance between learning effectively and feeling comfortable enough to ask questions without hesitation. I would definitely recommend Jessica to anyone who struggles with maths like i did.

Tutorchase put me in touch with Ollie B and he has been teaching me Further Maths A level for six months. I have difficulties learning in a school environment and was falling behind due to lack of attendance. Ollie has been able to find ways to help me understand better on a one-on-one basis which means I have caught up again and feel more confident going into class. He is extraordinarily patient, listens to my questions and can answer them in a way I understand.

We had a wonderful experience with TutorChase. Matthew was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He took the time to understand exactly what my daughter needed and recommended several excellent tutors without putting any pressure on us.
We chose Beatty, and we couldn't be happier. My daughter was very nervous before her first lesson, but afterwards she came away smiling and feeling much more confident. Beatty is patient, knowledgeable and explains Chemistry in a very clear and encouraging way.
Thank you, Matthew, for your support and for helping us find such a wonderful tutor. We highly recommend TutorChase!

My experience at tutorchase has been very good. I am satisfied with both my tutor (Mr Enrico) and client manager (Mylean) who both have worked very hard to make every step at tutorchase very easy for me.

Excellent tutors and really great support! I used TutorChase several times for both IGCSE and A-Level tutoring and cannot recommend them enough.

Extremely disappointing experience. After taking my payment, communication completely stopped. Nothing was delivered as promised, my emails and WhatsApp messages were ignored, and I received no meaningful updates despite repeated attempts to contact them. Support became impossible to reach once they had my money. My refund request was also ignored, leaving me out of pocket with no resolution. Huge red flags include taking payment upfront, failing to deliver the promised service, ignoring customers, and providing no accountability. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before paying.

Paid for the service and then heard nothing. No tutor was assigned, nothing was delivered, and every email and WhatsApp message I sent was ignored. Support never responded, and I was left with no explanation or refund. Very unprofessional and a complete waste of money. Avoid this service.

Incompetent physics teachers at school has left me confused and full of hatred for the subject. Struggling to reach an understanding of core concepts has detrimental effects on my ability to score well on past papers. Thankfully, I found Kara just in time. Kara explained each concept clearly and guided me through tough exam questions. She has also managed to re-kindle my interest in physics. Without Kara's excellent teaching, I wouldn't have been able to improve so drastically in such a short period of time. Before having Kara as a teacher, I had every intention of dropping physics forever after my exams, but now, I'm looking forward to take some physics electives at university. Thank you Kara!

Lana was a really good tutor, I’ve had her for 3 years almost and every class I leave learning something new and important. She helped me through the IB, turning my grade from a low 4 to a low 7. I would recommend her to others especially if content and essay structure is importantly for the student.

Even though I didn't end up doing the IB exams, I still had a wonderful experience with Tutorchase. My Physics HL tutor, Kara, explained concepts in a way that was comprehensible. Also, if I was stuck on a problem, my tutor broke it down into simple, manageable steps. Would highly recommend for anyone taking IB Physics.

I've had Nickara as a tutor for a few months and she has been very patient with me by explaining IB AAHL Maths content clearly. Every time I didn't understand something she takes extra time to make sure i did in the end. I was at a level 4 back then and I've just jumped to a high 6!

Laura was able to guide me through the EE give me insightful information and feedback through my process. Additionally, she was able to help me with my lack of knowledge of applying to the case study information when answering questions which was fundamental and helped me achieve very high grades for Business

My experience with lana was excellent. Her help with history was crucial to my success in the subject. She is extremely dedicated and knowledgeable about the IB criteria and assessment requirements, and always explains concepts clearly. Her extensive experience with essay writing helped me improve my work from a 3/7 to a 5/7 in a relatively short amount of time. Not only is lana an excellent tutor, but she is also caring and patient with her students. I would highly recommend lana to anyone looking for a history tutor.

Tutors are excellent and Jethro was amazing in collecting our needs and matching with the right tutors! My daughter got excellent IB grades higher than the predicted ones. A special
‘Thank you’ to Dominika, best art tutor ever, and to Jason for the English support!
