My kids really enjoy these sessions which is amazing, they look forward to them and are improving all of the time. We have diene extra maths and English and recently, 11+ verbal and none verbal reasoning. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My daughter struggled with confidence, since she started with tutortastic, there has been a huge improvement in her work.it’s a reasonable price and she’s made friend with others in the class.

Our son began working with Katherine Wadsworth after the first lockdown to give him some help with his literacy which had suffered from the school closures. Initially he attended a small online group of 6 pupils of similar ages who were focussed on 11+ preparation. The classes were well paced and organised. The technology took a couple of weeks to master but after that worked very well as a collaboration tool for the class to participate through. Kat has always been warm and welcoming and does a great job encouraging quieter members of the class to speak up. She gives everyone a chance to contribute and always gives the students credit for their suggestions, even when not quite on the right tracks. I believe Kat helped our son feel confident to answer questions which is a great skill to develop especially in a virtual setting.

Our son enjoyed Kat's literacy classes so much he begged us to let him join her maths class also- on a football training night- so we attempted to squash it in for as long as possible before we reluctantly had to give it up due to logistical challenges. He didn't even need the help in math, this is just how much he enjoyed her classes!

As we approached the exams we booked a few of months of 1:1 lessons with Kat where she focussed the class on our son's weaker areas. She prepared homework sheets designed to help him with his comprehension and creative ability. His improvements were just what he needed to feel confident ahead of his exams and gave him the courage to explore his creative side.

We would recommend Kat to anyone starting their 11+ preparation.

I have used tutortastic for over five years for all three of my children. All of them have leaped forward with their academics at school and were accepted into the schools we applied for for secondary. The service is excellent, well priced and I highly recommend it.
