From the start chanice and Ricky were fantastic, they were extremely professional and the service was extremely fast from start to finish.

I didn’t think I would be accepted for finance but U Can Car Credit made it possible. James was very, very helpful and reassuring from start to finish and found me a new car within my budget. I also part exchanged my old car and got more for it than what I expected.
Would highly recommend and will be using them in the future if I ever need car finance again :) thank you!

This is my 4th car from UCAN Car Credit in Willenhall. There is a reason i keep coming back and its because they’re the best ! Ross and Ben have looked after this time around and I’ve left with a Beautiful Audi A6. I’ll be back again. Thankyou UCAN

I have struggled to get credit and UCAN helped me obtain this - for which I am very thankful, however the car is bought is currently parked up and not fit for purpose.

There is an issue with the oil/sensor/vehicle - which I am sure could be fixed quite promptly by Volvo (on reading up it likely needs to be Volvo) but The Hyde Branch Manager states the following:

"I've read through your email and unfortunately our warranty does not cover the astronomical labour and diagnostic prices at main dealer as I'm sure you can understand and although I appreciate your looking for peace of mind please don’t believe main dealers your answer"

This is not a warranty job, the vehicle was sold to me with a fault...

The oil level was overfilled when they serviced the vehicle, I had to get this sorted and I am still awaiting the promised refund.

The Hyde Branch Manager was quite clever though, in so much he made me think that I was the one that was in a rush for the vehicle - not the case, I was called multiple times and asked if I could get down on the day that I did go down - which I did, it was the last day of the month (anyone that works in a cash driven business will know month end is a big day)

In fairness, they have offered to wind the deal back, however! the finance dies with the deal and on speaking to the finance company (Billing) who were absolutely spot on with me, further finance is not guaranteed - so I could end up in the same position as I am in now, with no vehicle to use.

I so wanted the aftercare to be what they promised, but trust me - once the finance company have paid out, they wont pick the phone up to call you 5 times a day nor send the multiple dozen text messages every day.

Check the info they are giving you also, I was told that the vehicle I purchased was on a timing chain (its not)

They have 2 stars because they managed to get me the credit required to buy a car I absolutely love - I would definitely love it more if I could drive it knowing where the oil was at …

Sit Rep - 07/11/2024 - I believe that the vehicle is now functioning as it should. And I’m over £300 out of pocket (let’s see if it gets reimbursed) I’ve also had a request to remove facts from this review - which I haven’t, but I have protected the persons identity.

It’s amazing how they only request this when the feedback is negative.

I am not sure where I have indicated that I was ignored? but certainly I have not had the same amount of calls following the sale than I have pre the sale.

Being economical or cheap is all well and good providing that there is a positive outcome - I took the vehicle to and paid for diagnostics myself on the vehicle, a sensor was reset (which only Volvo can do using the Vida system) and hey presto - the vehicle seems to be reading fine (at the moment) it cost me the princely sum of £120+ VAT - don't worry, I will foot the bill for that.

So you can ignore the £638.40 an independent garage has quoted for replacing the sensor for the time being.

There are zero inaccuracies within my review, not a single one - everything I have stated I can and will when required back up with evidence.

Umar and Ben have been fantastic and so helpful. The customer care I have received has been outstanding, and I am so happy with my new car. I will be using them again and I highly recommend Ucan cars.

I was low on confidence on being successful on getting finance as my credit rating was very poor no not very poor. ULTRA poor but what a team Hyde of Manchester have Polite Professional and very hard working But I struck gold when Laura handled my case she is a great asset to the Hyde branch it was a long day as my credit was poor and complex but bless her she was so nice and great at her job well done the Hyde team Thankyou

Unfortunately I am unable to give 0 stars, so 1 will have to do. I went into the Wigan site today after being promised via phonecall ‘your application is positive! Numerous lenders who are willing to work with you. We would not waste yours or our time if your application is declined’ to get to the site, go through my details with a member of staff, be given the keys to a car I wax interested in to sit and and have a look around… to then be told within 5 minutes if this, my application was declined. This was absolutely fine, until I got home. A friend of mine had also applied and called to check up on the status of her application, without giving her name in to anybody or any of her details they INSTANTLY told her her application had also been declined. She then proceeded to tell them you have not even taken my name, to which the member of staff replied ‘it is *****’ and gave my friend her own name over the telephone. She then went on to ask why it was declined… and also stated that her friend (myself) had just been into the showroom and was declined after being shown around the particular vehicle I’d chosen.. the guy then TOLD HER WHY MY APPLICATION WAS DECLINED. This was after giving a very well practiced speech about confidentiality and data protection. He should never have given my information out to anybody!! When I then called the showroom after my friend informing me of this mishap, the First Lady who answered the call advised me “yes I know who she was dealing with I’ll pass you over to my colleague” again, without taking my name, or my friends name from me. Instantly knew who we were. Passed me over to the guy who she spoke with, who also seemed to know who we were. He went on to tell me that my application was declined due to bank statements… what bank statement? Because I had not provided ANY bank statements at any point during my application… when I questioned this, he backtracked and then decided to tell me it was “because the vehicle chosen was too expensive”…. Again, how do you know this? Because you have no idea about my income and outgoings in order for you to tell me this is the reason behind the decline. I’m not affected by a declined offer, I’m bothered by the fact this company is disgusting and can easily give your information out to any Tom, Dick and Harry, even when supposedly following a confidentiality and data protection policy. And then bare faced lying to you. I would never ever recommend this company to anybody. They were made aware this review would be put up and they tried their damn hardest to keep me on the phone to prevent this but never once apologised for the lies they told. #ucanBELETDOWN, #ucanNOTTRUSTTHEM. Disgusted by their service.

Umar supported us in not only purchasing one car but two! He worked hard to land us with a beautiful insignia and even worked out of hours to sort every detail that was needed to make sure the keys were in our hands 24 hours later. A true credit to the company :) thank you Umar
