Ueshima Coffee Company Reviews 

The coffee is great and I was a subscriber to one of their products. The problems started when the product I was ordering ran out and doesn't appear to have been restocked as of now. According to their website and the email advising me the items were out of stock, I could suspend my order or ask for a substitute. Unfortunately I wasn't keen on the substitute so wanted to suspend my order until the items I wanted were back in stock: this was back in November. However there wasn't actually any way I could see on their website in my account to suspend the ordering process, only cancel my subscription. So I reluctantly did this. And for some reason the subscription process removed my entire account, which I didn't find out about until a few weeks later when I went to check whether the items were back in stock (they weren't). So I'm not sure if this is the intended behaviour of the website but it did concern me. So I emailed their customer service in January. I have yet to receive a reply: not even an automated acknowledgement. I'm pretty disappointed so far and have been looking elsewhere for similar coffee. I regret having to do this because up to this point they were really good, the items always arrived well packaged and on time. But their poor website design and non existent customer service has let them down.

Best tasting coffee in the world, can't get enough of it. Will be ordering more when I'm running low

I would normally rate this highly but the increased cost from ordering 500g bags was about £7.50 per bag ie £30 per month but now they can’t supply 500g bags but 200g bags so the equivalent price now is £40 per month so that’s an increase of 25% which is unacceptable coffee inflation and such a shame because the quality of the coffee is stunning.
I did try to follow the instructions about cancelling the 500g bags 💼 and have free coffee and just pay for the shipping plus a free 🔖 clip by could not get it to work such a shame as I now have 10bags that cost 25% more as it had already been sent out although I was told by the company that I could refuse delivery which I would not do so I had sent another email saying maybe you could just give me a small discount to save it being returned because of the cost etc but didn’t even get a response.
A really good communication is vital retain customers shame as the coffee is stunning.
Another point is that Morrisons and Sainsbury’s is the cheapest price for the same amount about £3.75

Having discovered UCC after returning from Japan in 2024 - it's always been a great experience from ordering to quick shipment and always great tasting coffee.

One of my favourite coffee companies for that special morning cup! They are just brilliant and deliveries are lightning fast too. Great value for money as well. What's not to like!

This is the best tasting coffee I have ever tried and believe me I've tried a lot,it's so smooth and tasty and once you have tried it you won't want any other.

Great coffee that’s not bitter

I smell a rat with some of these reviews. They haven’t had a reliable supply of coffee whole beans since at least Nov 2025. What are people getting delivered?

I write to ask for updates, no replies on socials, or if there is a reply it’s bland nonsense, perhaps social media team have disappeared like their beans. No responses on trustpilot reviews like there were before. If they are shutting down then just tell us, we’ll move on!

I want to buy 500g Fuji Mountain Beans. Simple. You would have thought so anyway.

I can still get small ( and smaller than previous I should add at 200g) from Sainsbury’s, but the thing I noticed about those is the awful bits of bean crumbs and flakes in the bottom of the bags. So much detritus of bits of old beans in the bottom. Clearly if you buy ground version you don’t see it, but the whole beans are awful.

Bought my last bag yesterday I’m sorry to say.

Lack of beans for sale, less than clear shrinkflation change and poor bean product in the bags I can buy means goodbye.

I found the brand at the bbc good food exhibition last June and really liked the coffee. So good I bought a lot, ditched my regular whole bean roaster for the Fuji Mountain 5/5 whole beans here.

Won me and lost me in 8 months - could have been great but you disappeared and your coffee did the same.

Really quite sad about this but everything comes and goes but I thought you would be around or at least be seen for longer.

Prompt delivery and a great product

I’ve been a customer of Ueshima Coffee Company since last year and couldn’t be happier. The coffee quality is outstanding – rich, smooth, and full of flavour. The ordering process is simple, and delivery is always prompt. I also appreciate the clear communication and attention to detail in their emails. I’m so satisfied that I now have a monthly subscription, which makes enjoying their coffee even more convenient. Overall, a great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys premium coffee.
