No game will load - AVOID!

No game will load. It's currently a useless piece of plastic. Am still Awaiting a replacement SD card.

Avoid!!! Faulty product and poor customer service

Updating my review after the company’s response.

WhatGeek claim they have “escalated” my case and will resolve it within 24 hours. However, this does not reflect my actual experience.

I have already:
Provided a full video showing the fault
Shared the serial number
Provided confirmation from the manufacturer (ETOE) that this is likely a hardware fault requiring replacement or refund
Despite this, I have experienced repeated delays, requests for the same information, and no meaningful resolution.
I was then offered either:
A partial refund with a 30% “depreciation fee”, or
A full refund only if I return the item (likely overseas and at my own cost)
This is not a reasonable outcome for a product that failed within a few months of normal use.

At this stage, their public response does not match their actual handling of my case. I will update this review if a proper resolution (full refund without deductions or unreasonable return conditions) is provided. Avoid them at all costs. They’re scammers and it’ll be worth going straight to the card provider for a refund!!

Avoid

Agreed to refund me for an unwanted item that I returned. Over a month later and after several emails I still don’t have the money. I have had to take them to small claims court. Don’t use this company.

Impossible to return with this company. Stay away.

My wife, Nayade, asked me for a game console for my birthday.
The games would freeze, the microphone wouldn't pick up the voice in games like Nintendog.
My wife requested a return because I don't want a console like this, and we haven't received a response. After almost a week, they've offered a partial refund?
What don't you understand about me not wanting a console like this? A birthday present has to be something you like, and I don't like this one. It's just sitting in its box, unused, absolutely nothing, zero.
The company operates by not responding; they are playing at being a ghost that offers no solutions.
At this point, we will end up requesting a chargeback from the bank.
We don't want to do this because we really want to return the console output, but if we don't get any response, that's what we'll do.
Terrible customer service.

Disappointed with my experience so far

Disappointed with my experience so far. Anbernic R476H delivered promptly but does not work at all. No response from support despite a claim they would respond in 24 hours.

I had an issue with delivery

I had an issue with delivery. It was sorted quickly and a replacement was sent. Communication was good all of the way though. Highly recommended

took a long time to refund

took a long time to refund, bought in january, returned a week after delivery because it wasn't straight forward to just return.

it's now the middle of march and i still have no refund

email support at first pushed for me not to return the item and instead offered me another product or to keep it and get a partial refund.

said no. sent it back in january via royal mail.

they sent me a rude email saying i wasn't being patient when i checked why i hadn't had a refund, 5 weeks after sending back

i think i've been anything except impatient in my opinion.

not worth your time - product was fine, but i found it for cheaper - i should have just accepted the partial refund and the chance to keep it and just sold it on ebay, I just never expected this hassle.

Great experience

I accidentally made an incorrect order but the team were so helpful in getting it changed without me having to cancel and ensuring the right product was sent to me. Delivery was very quick and the quality of the product is excellent. Very pleased with my experience thank you.

Great price and fast delivery

Another great experience—WhatGeek is now my go-to for keyboards

This is my second time purchasing from uk-whatgeek-com, and I’m really impressed with the consistency. It’s rare to find a store that delivers this well on both shipping speed and product quality across multiple orders.
My first purchase was the AULA F108 Pro for my gaming room, and the quality was so good that I didn't hesitate to come back when I needed a board for my living room rig. I just received the AULA F75, and it’s a fantastic piece of kit—solid build, great switches, and it fits the new setup perfectly.

A note on the delivery:
I’ll admit I was a bit worried when I saw they use Evri as their courier, as they can be a bit unreliable in certain areas. However, I was pleasantly surprised—the shipping was very fast both times, and the tracking was updated properly. Both keyboards arrived in perfect condition without any issues.
