Fabulous day of coaching. Amazing what can be achieved when a good coach teaches, and gives you the courage to learn and succeed.

There are MTB coaches and then there is Tony Doyle. I had three different coaches, all of them well know and “reputable”.
I ended up, at the end of the sessions, in the very same place.
Still not knowing what to do to improve my riding skills.
As a physical therapist (with plenty of understanding of biomechanics) as well as an accomplish skier and footballer, I just needed “something to work on”…
All I got was … confusion.
Then I met Tony. He immediately identified faults that no one ever pointed out before.
Foot positioning, erroneous turning technique, overall stiffness,He gave me clear and simple instructions on how to correct these faults and, with practise, I went from erratic and unpredictable at Swinley Forest to confidently riding the black trails in Bike Park Wales, Stiniog, Pila. Morzine, …
To put it simple. Don’t waste time and money.
Do You want to improve your MTB riding?
Better call Tony.
He’s from a different league to ‘em all.
My 13 years old son Dylan has been literally transformed into a confident and competent rider by Tony.
Again, no improvements after many sessions elsewhere.
My wife Christina took her first gap jump after just a few hours with Tony.
No other coach ever managed to give her the confidence and belief to do it.

Tony's coaching was spot on.
All the advice and help he gave us proved to work when we put it in to practice.

Found UK Bike Skills online as I was looking for some coaching on my MTB we had a mutual friend and he said how good Tony (aka the Jedi) was at coaching, so I went along for a 1on 1 session well it was a full all day session and the difference in my riding was pretty massive once we had finished, I now have the confidence and ability to do drop in and even stairs which before I would walk down Tony Doyle is a great instructor with many years of cycling behind him I will be having another lesson soon as I want to increase my knowledge and ability.

Second time to see Tony.
What he says makes sense. He explains his theories and you put them into practice and they make a silly difference.
I've travelled two round trips of 320 miles now for the experience and I'm planning on going more often.
Tony has the layout, knowledge and teaching ability to make you a better rider. Recommended.

Another utterly fantastic day at Jedi's place in Hertfordshire. I've been coached by Tony many times over the years (i think 7 times now!) since his early days at Herts - and try to come back every now and then for a skills top-up - there's a good reason I come back - there is simply no better! Tony's coaching style is progressive, calm and quietly encouraging. His ability to spot and correct issues is incredible, and he completely transformed my jumping - he had my flying over the gap jump in no time this session. My fear of heights caused a few issues later in the day, but with some encouragement I was riding the steep chute down into the quarry. Something I had always run away from in the past. I'll be back again next year with some friends to revisit the gaps and drops. Don't waste your hard-earned money on new kit and bikes, go see Jedi and transform your riding instead.
