I recently had my gynecomastia surgery at UKSKIN and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first consultation, the team made me feel comfortable, informed, and completely at ease. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood every step of the process.
The pre-op visit was just as reassuring. The staff were incredibly professional and supportive, making sure all the necessary checks were done and that I felt fully prepared for the procedure. Their attention to detail and patient care really stood out.
On the day of the surgery, everything ran smoothly and the team were amazing. They were friendly, calm, and very attentive, which helped ease any nerves I had. The level of care and professionalism throughout the whole experience was outstanding.

I recently underwent brachioplasty surgery on the 19th of March 2026, and I wanted to leave a review to share experience.
From start to finish, the care I received was exceptional. The entire team were incredibly caring, attentive, and professional, making me feel comfortable and supported every step of the way.
My surgeon, Dr Apostolos Vlachogiorgos, was truly outstanding. His professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail immediately put me at ease. He took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I felt confident and fully informed before my procedure. He also noticed that my tattoo might be affected by the surgery and did his absolute best to work around it where possible, which I really appreciated. I am absolutely delighted with my results, which have exceeded my expectations.
I would also like to give special thanks to Mary Ann, the lead clinician nurse, who was amazing throughout. Her kindness, reassurance, and genuine compassion made such a difference to my experience. She was always there to offer support and answer any questions, which I truly appreciated. I would name everyone else who was there to offer support but there are too many to name, but they were all amazing.
Overall, my experience was seamless and positive, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. I would highly recommend this team to anyone considering brachioplasty – you will be in very safe and caring hands.

Perfect!
Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Booking my procedure and paying for it was very easy, and I felt informed throughout. My coordinator Reena was very helpful and friendly, and made me feel at ease straight away. Arriving at the clinic, I was met by a friendly security guard who called the lift for me, and held the door for me. The reception was welcoming and bright, and I was offered refreshments as soon as I arrived. There was also free WiFi for anyone to use whilst they waited.
I was seen promptly, and during my procedure the surgeon and nurses kept me fully informed and relaxed.
The consultation/ surgery room was absolutely spotless, but also bright and relaxing.
Afterwards I was offered refreshments, and informed I could stay as long as I wanted to whilst waiting on my taxi.
I was given telephone numbers incase I needed anyone, and have a complimentary check up in two weeks.
My coordinator Reena has also since checked on me.
Can't fault the service, procedure, and team.
Highly recommend them!

Amazing upper eyelid surgery!
I recently had an upper blepharoplasty with UKSkin and the whole process from start to finish was excellent. I visited the Hale clinic where the staff are all very professional and friendly. Dr Apostolos who carried my op was totally amazing and I am SO pleased with my results. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the op, this clinic and surgeon to anybody thinking of having this procedure. All the staff are very polite and…
All the staff are very polite and patient and do very well at making you feel comfortable. I got some gyno gland removal done from omar tilo and the whole way through I felt very comfortable and safe. Omar did a fantastic job and so did the medical team! My coordinator, Kirsten was very friendly and patient with me, and helped me when i needed! Mapdoleue, Natalie the nurse was great before and after the surgery! And so was Ravin at reception! Would 100% recommend the Birmingham team!

I'd thoroughly recommend UKSkin. Dr Rajive removed a large lipoma in my back. Surgery lasted around an hour, nothing was too much trouble for Dr Rajive and his assistant and they answered any questions I had during surgery and put me at ease. The whole process from the initial enquiry, to booking and then to arrival and the procedure was effortless and all staff at all stages were really helpful. I wouldnt hesitate to come back here should I require any future procedures.

Excellent care from UK Skin
I received a very warm welcome and cup of coffee on arrival before having my first procedure (mole removal). The surgery by Dr Rajive assisted by the friendly nurse Paris was quick and painless. The second procedure was for varicose vein treatment using foam sclerotherapy. The surgery itself was very clean and the surgeon Dr Khaira, charming nurses Aisha and Magdalena assisted by the lovely Marketing Manager Mollie, were delightful, very kind and welcoming. I did think that perhaps Dr Khaira might have explained at the start of the surgery exactly what he would be doing but perhaps most patients do not want to know the details of the surgery. I will not know whether the surgery has been successful for a few weeks yet however the experience was very positive.

Exceptional
Before choosing my surgeon, I had consultations with three consultants at Spire and Nuffield. All were friendly and professional, and one of them had actually performed my revision breast surgery, so I already knew how talented she was. However, at 37 I was advised by all three that although they would perform the procedure, it would be better to wait until I was at least 50 to “get my money’s worth.”
While I understand that perspective, I felt it was important to find a surgeon who truly understood how I felt about my eyelids and the results I wanted to achieve now. You can’t judge a surgeon’s ability by their advice to wait until things progress further, but for me it was about finding someone who listened and understood.
As soon as I met Dr Apostolos, I knew he was the right choice. He was professional in every way, incredibly friendly, and never rushed the consultation. He wasn’t trying to sell the procedure or discourage it he simply gave honest, informed advice. Most importantly, he understood exactly what I disliked about my eyelids.
One thing I initially found unusual about the clinic was that family or friends aren’t allowed to attend appointments with you. As someone who can get a little nervous, this made me feel slightly uneasy at first. However, the staff who accompanied me throughout the process were so kind, reassuring, and calming that it quickly stopped being an issue.
On the day of surgery, I was looked after by the most beautiful nurse who guided and reassured me the entire time. She put me completely at ease. Dr Apostolos also came to see me beforehand to check in, and the whole experience truly felt seamless.
I’m still in the healing stage, but everything is going very well so far with no issues at all. The results already look amazing, and I’m so excited to see them once I’m fully healed.

I’d love to give just one a shout out but to be honest I can they was all superb friendly and made you feel calm and very welcome I had three lumps removed from my from my face and they did such a great job healing was brilliant and you can’t even notice I had it done ! Thanks again all at UKSKIN
