The Ukulele Project is a not for profit organisation whose aim is to use the ukulele to help address loneliness and promote wellbeing. We currently have projects in London, Scotland, Wales, the South East and the East Midlands. We have witnessed first hand how the ukulele can bring people together; how it can help break down social barriers and build strong friendships. We are passionate about supporting schools, teachers and community groups to run sustainable ukulele clubs, classes and events as a way of combating loneliness. We provide teaching resources, workshops and events; run classes for community groups and schools and in our online shop you’ll find class ukulele sets, stickers, badges, our First Ukulele Pieces books, our Practice Journal and loads more! ALL our profits go towards donating ukuleles to schools, community groups and libraries.

I had lots of fun attending this workshop, Tara is incredibly knowledgeable about the ukulele, so even if you've been playing for years (4 in my case) you'll learn something new.
I'm looking forward to starting to teach ukulele too.

Online Teachers Workshop - with Tara
Last night I attended a Zoom workshop with Tara about 'where to start' with setting up an adult ukulele group. It was SO helpful, a lot of personal and tried and tested methods were shared. Also, the post workshop resources are brilliant and I certainly do feel inspired and more confident about setting up my own Uke Group now. Thank you! (ps. I might seem to be biased as I am part of the ukulele project, but I attended this workshop as Justine and for my own personal development. I learnt a ton of new things!)

The Four Chords of Rock
Tara and Anna ran a Uke workshop at our company for 21 staff as part of Mental Health Awareness Week. We had so much fun - many laughs and all learned a new skill. Highly recommended.
