Polite Staff and on-time deliveries. I had a good experience with them regarding the localization of my Video Courses. I only wish they were a little cheaper but can't blame them for that. Overall, the translations were accurate and the service was good.

They make their best efforts to be a good translation agency, but they are too much on the client's side to the detriment of translators' professionality. Jobs are managed decently (with increasing attention over last couple of years) and they pay invoices automatically at every beginning of month, which is great, but rates are too low and they are giving too much power to AI, to the point of heavily damaging translators. I hope they can find a better point of balance soon because human translators are the gold of this sector, not the rubbish.

The main reason I like working with Ulatus is that they will 100% always pay on time. Cash flow is a huge problem for freelance translators but Ulatus payment system is very transparent and reliable.

I had a very disappointing experience with Ulatus. The recruitment and onboarding process was confusing, with unclear communication about expectations, timelines, and payment. I invested a significant amount of time completing the required steps, but the overall process lacked transparency and left me feeling that my time was not valued. Candidates deserve clear communication from the beginning, especially when they are expected to dedicate hours to assessments or onboarding. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those standards.

They posted for a job on Proz.com. The candidate was supposed to perform a free test to assess if he/she could perform a paid test for the client.
I did the test and sent it according to instructions. The email was read after a couple of days. No feedback.
After 10 days, I sent an email to ask for a feedback/answer. The email was read but I am still waiting for an answer. They did not even bother to acknowledge receipt!
I translate for a living and this people took advantage of my time and expertise to get an UNPAID job done!
