I called UltraFix and they sent Khalid S over on the same day to fix our washing machine. He was so nice, reliable and skilled. He had all the parts he needed there. Our washing machine works great now.

I am in the middle of trying to get a washing machine repaired. All started well with Dmytro coming to diagnose the problem. He said parts had to be ordered ( this was Friday) and should be in by Monday or Tuesday. I paid my deposit then called on Monday to see what the status was. The woman said they would be ordered. I called again on Tuesday and was told by another woman that He would “go” and get them. I called on Wensday for an update and was told I would get a text when they were in. Different stories by different people but in a large metroplex with many supply houses for parts it’s hard to understand this delay and I’m getting no explanation. Very poor customer communication and I Will Not use them again for this reason.

I rarely post negative reviews, but consumers need to be aware of my experience with Ultrafix Appliance Repair.

I contacted Ultrafix to repair my undercounter ice maker. The technician pulled the unit out from under the counter, traced the drain hose, and inspected the line during his assessment. Afterward, I was informed that an additional $200 would be added to the original quoted repair cost for a replacement part.

When the part arrived, the technician attempted to modify it to fit. During the process, he broke the part and then declared it defective. Once the repair was completed, he pushed the ice maker back into place and left.

What I later discovered was that the drain hose had never been reconnected.

As a result, water drained directly into my cabinets and onto my floors, causing extensive damage. When I contacted the company, the immediate response was, “He didn’t touch the plumbing,” despite the fact that I personally witnessed the technician working underneath the counter and handling the drain line.

The company wanted to send the same technician back out, but by then a licensed plumber had already identified the issue immediately — the drain hose was disconnected. When the technician returned, I informed him that he had failed to reconnect the hose after the repair. He then went under the cabinet and reconnected it himself, while still insisting, “I didn’t touch the plumbing" although I watched him with my own eyes.

What started as approximately a $500 appliance repair has now resulted in more than $6,000 in water damage repairs.

My advice: do your research beyond the surface-level reviews. A company may appear reputable online, but customer experiences can tell a very different story. I was also disappointed to learn that they are not accredited with the Better Business Bureau, read the alerts and complaints listed.

Consumers deserve accountability, professionalism, and honesty — especially when costly damage occurs in their homes.

Paul, your technician came on time. Checked out our refrigerator, very thorough, and could not find any issues that might have caused the odor we were smelling. He explained everything to us and we feel comfortable with his explanation. I give him a 5 star review. We were very pleased. Thank you

I had my oven door fixed in Nov 2025 and when the guy came he watch a u tube video on how to fix while at my house. $300 and it was very stiff and now the oven door won’t open and they want $89 to come look at it!!! Huge rip off

On time or early for every appointment. Clean work. Very experienced with all makes and models. Full transparency on parts and labor. Does not up sell just fixes what needs fixed

Rashad was very professional, he knew exactly what was wrong with our dryer. He dismantled our dryer, put it all back together and made it work perfect. We will call him back on any appliance work we have done.

Our Maytag Refrigerator was making small ice cubes and the water dispenser was coming out in a trickle. Our Tech (Rashad) was on time, friendly and was very good. He located the issue right away and ordered the part while here. He was also prompt in returning to make the repair. There was good communication and the job was done fast! Very happy with his service.

Emil from UltraFix Appliance Repair was very prompt, courteous and knows what he’s doing. When I called, he was able to come out the same day to check out our washer to see why it was not entering the spin cycle. It turned out to be the motherboard. He ordered it and I was texted a few days later to set up an install time. I’ll call for Emil if I need anything else fixed. Thank you Emil, we are very pleased!

Nadir was my technician today and he was so polite! He took his shoes off at my front door (snow and snow melt everywhere) so this really stood out. Our dryer broke and needed a new belt and he even help me figure out which plug on my breaker box was for the dryer (old condo). He was very nice, worked fast, and helped tremendously.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Was able to get an appointment very quickly and dryer was fixed in a very timely manner. Highly recommend!

Elmir has been to my house twice now to address a defective microwave. He was thorough in his diagnosis and was succinct in his plan moving forward! I would recommend using UltraFix and if you are in the Pittsburgh area I would ask for him to do your repairs.
