This company is as crooked as they come. Do not buy anything from here.
I ordered two rain frogs, which were not inexpensive and expressed that I was very concerned about the cold weather. One frog arrived dead I went through all the instructions sent the pictures, and they lie. I had told the original Representative that it was way too cold here and she insisted that it would be fine and that they would put heat packs in the packaging. This poor animal must’ve suffered terribly. They do not give refunds. They lie.
And will do anything, but give the honest and correct customer service. Never order from the shady operation.

They dont take care of their animals.
They fully support and fund the wild capture of reptiles which is a huge problem for the wild populations long term survivability.
They sell animals that can only be sourced from poor practices or illegal trading.
If you buy from underground reptiles, you are supporting the torture of animals you apparently care about.

I have had some experience with receiving dead animals but they always did take care of that but still I feel that the poor animal should never have to go through such trauma and it's not like this happened overnight these animals were clearly not taken care of and we're not looked over before they were sent out. I'm pretty frustrated with the format of their auctions these days. Ever since they started this overtime option it has really caused these auctions to suck. And I kind of think there's some shady s**t going on when the first bid is high and then that person doesn't bid again it makes me wonder if they have some insider making the first bid ridiculously high just so that they can get a large amount of money right off the bat. what is the point of having an auction end time when they just override it with these extended time option? I feel like they just want to keep getting as much money as possible which sucks because that was the reason why I looked forward to these auctions was so I could afford these animals that I would normally be able to but now it's like sometimes you're paying more than the regular retail price.. So it's a shame that they've turned so deceptive and greedy. Elite my butt you don't get anything special by joining that.

I've been searching for house geckos to be my last additions to my multi species terrarium. No one around sells them.
These little guys are so cute.
They were a little chilled by the time they got here (not seller's fault, as they packed them well), which allowed me to hold each one for a bit while putting them into the terrarium. They didn't want to let go of my hand 😅😍

Ordered three egg eaters all died in two weeks do not order from them

Ordered a ball python when I got em out the bag looked alright but when I took it to the vet he had a mouth infection and a respiratory infection save your money wait for a reptile show and buy from a real breeder

I ordered a 3 pack of northern red bellied cooter turtles to be friends with my current northern red bellied cooter, upon arrival 1 was in the process of dying, and within a week it had died, and they refused to give me a refund or send me a new one free of charge since I already paid for the turtle, and when I first got the turtles they looked like the right turtle they are now about 1 year old and are not the right turtles they look nothing like my actual northern red bellied cooter, and are twice the size of my 2 year old turtle at only half the age. After getting a professional to look at and examine my turtles I was told this place did in fact lie, I was sent eastern painted turtles. I don’t know what kind of shady BS this place is into but I will be taking all my business anywhere else but here.

I had a Russian Tortoise overnighted to me. Upon opening the box & bag I noticed my guy seemed lethargic & had ticks. Within 2 hours I submitted an order complaint & called for help as I felt the tortoise is sickly. They told me to wait for the complaint to be answered. Fast forward being a tortoise owner for 26 hours, and he is barely clinging on to life & unable to walk more then 3 steps with his eyes closed so I call again begging for some kind of help or advice the woman puts me on hold & gets a man named Chris. They tell me they need to see photos & can't tell me anything before that. I will send them the photos as requested, but this poor guy came sick :(

I have had a bit of experience with these people. They don’t offer any guarantees unfortunately and have an option to pay for a subscription to become a pro. Ive never tried it maybe in the future if they offer more. I’ve ordered a Pygmy chameleon, 2 tailess whip scorpions, and camel spider. The two whip scorpions were dead on arrival. No guarantee so I was out whatever I paid as well the camel spider died a couple days later. I was yet out again water I spent. The only thing that survived was the chameleon I got another chameleon a while ago and died on the second day died. Only thing they guarantee is that any animal you get from them will most likely end up underground shortly.

Tries to take money out your account without ordering stuff.

the parcel service who has many dedicated people i know unfortunately failed to deliver the package on time and really just dropped the box w this order resulting in failure. ug reptiles, quickly stepped up, sincerely apologized and refunded the entire order including the cost of shipping.. to me, this indicates
good character and commitment to do the right thing. even when taking a loss. . i would definitely do business with ug reptiles in future.

I've read reviews. Placed my order on 10/4/22. Overnight shipping/next day. Whatever. That being said and after reading a few reviews I may hav been better off finding another seller. Anyway i was expecting to receive my one(1) poison dart frog on 10/5/2022. Again...finding myself paying for a debt i didn't owe. What a waist of $100.00. Someone should let this place know that money doesn't grow on tree's. What a "hit me" on broad side. I wish i had a middle finger to ship to this dealer. (Live) THAN- yo-!!!

I ordered a baby Savannah Monitor about a week ago. I loved her so much and she died a week later. I feel so f**ked up with them. But unfortunately I will have to order from them. I hope they get it right next time. I have wanted to commit suicide. But I won't. So suck it. Horrible service you backstabbers.

I had ordered a Mississippi Map turtle, it came in with a broken leg, I contacted them and they send me a replacement. Upon arrival I noticed the turtle had a scar on its stomach and it looked bad. I contacted them again and they said it was a liquid to clean the water which was nothing to worry about. Every other day I noticed the scar was getting worse and I sent them pics and they continued to say it was nothing to worry about. 2 weeks later the turtle died and I let them know again and after that they said “oh yeah it looks like it died because it’s shell looks bad, must of got infected”. They tried to give me 20% off another order like are you serious? I let them know right when I had received it, that it looked sick just for them to tell me it died cuz of what I kept asking about. I would stay away from this place. Would not recommend at all.

Ordered two baby Softshell Turtles totaled $68.98. Next day received empty box! Underground Reptiles tells me to file claim with UPS. UPS tells me their contracted to Underground Reptiles and this is who I need to contact regarding claim. Underground Reptiles has not offered refund, replacement, or responded to me, it's been over two weeks. They are living up to their name. Countless emails I've sent as well as phone calls, I've gotten nowhere with this! Buyer beware,
unscrupulous business!
