The apartment was perfectly located for our needs and right on the river. It was spacious, well equipped and clean but above all it was the personal service we received that stood out. Nothing was too much trouble and having a real and pleasant person to contact who acted on our query immediately was an absolute treat compared to other bad experience we have had. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to everybody,

Very good location just next to Liverpool station,nice bars pubs around good restaurants.For my business trip this was an excellent choice. The apartment was clean and fresh. I would definitely stay here in the future.

We stay here all the time when visiting London, apartments are super clean and lovely too. The team are very helpful and accommodating. Great communication via email and telephone ! Highly recommend.

I have been waiting two weeks for a response to my complaint from Urban Stay but still heard nothing so am reviewing here.
Our apartment was Verso in Southwark, London. There were issues with the booking process - very poor communication and unclear process. However I overlooked this.
Once at the apartment, there were a number of things broken, a lamp with no plug, bedroom fans that were old and barely worked (it was 29 degrees in London and no air con in the flat) and a huge stain on the lounge rug. Also there was no hot water. We reported these issues and were told the hot water wouldn't be fixed that evening. It was eventually fixed the next day but that was one night without hot water, no apologies or follow up. On the third day no hot water again. Again we had to spend our holiday time reporting this and trying to get it resolved. It eventually was, but that was now two days without hot water. Again no follow up or attempt to compensate. On chasing up again about the other issues we eventually got a new rug, which I said not to bother with. The broken shower thermostats, poor fans and lack of plug were what actually mattered, but we got a rug.
I have contacted Urban Stay twice now since leaving the apartment about our stay not being up to standard, I have heard nothing.
I did not get the comfortable, high quality stay I was promised, and I did not get the customer service the company claims to provide. I would not use again and would urge caution when using this company if you are expecting to get what you have paid (quite a lot) for.

Thank you for your reply below, which not only demonstrates very well how you treat customers but also highlights how little handle you have on your business as most of the response has nothing to do with me. What you have written is not true - 2 emails and 2 phone calls in a week is hardly harassment, particularly when you have no hot water (I even have an email from the building manager saying there was no hot water at all on those days as the pump needed fixing!) - and the part about asking for an extended stay must relate to another customer as I had only booked 8 nights for a holiday and never requested further nights. And I'm not from the States, I'm from London. However your response is a great example of your approach to customer service and hopefully provides a warning to others about doing business with you, which is all I wanted to achieve from my review. Jenny' place in Lewisham
We (1 adult and 2 children) had a fantastic stay here! The apartment is stylishly decorated and in a fantastic location. There are several buses every 2-3 minutes into Lewisham (which takes about 1 minute). From here you can access overground, underground and the DLR. This makes Jenny' place a great place to explore London. Jenny was very responsive throughout the whole experience and provided a huge amount of detailed information about the apartment itself and the area surrounding it. We also found Lewisham in general very friendly with the general public and staff a like offering help with travel logistics etc. We definitely recommend Jenny's apartment and would love to stat again! Thank you!

We were able to stay at the apartment on Ladbroke Grove. It was conveniently located near Portabello Road and Notting Hill. The flat was comfortable and met our needs. We will book with Urban Stay again in the future.

We stayed 2 nights in May at Jenny's place, and it's the perfect solution for a family of 4. 2 distinct spacious bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms each with toilet, quiet neighborhood... and 2 different train stations at 10-min walk. Simply excellent, we highly recommend!

Our spot in Lewisham was a great stay for London venturing! Jenny was a wonderful host and very responsive. We had no issues with the place whatsoever. We felt safe and the station was a quick walk away. The parking spot was also wonderful for the days we had a rental car. Definitely recommend!

Urban Stay never disappoints, I'll be back!

I have been trying to book here for my partners birthday it looked absolutely perfect but there is no direct booking and I haven’t got any response in days ! I don’t know how long they take to respond but can see there are lots of 2 week policies and stuff , I am trying to book for 3weeks in advance and if they don’t reply soon then I’m sure they’ll tell me they wont book me .. guess I’ll start looking for somewhere else..

We had a lovely holiday at Jenny's apartment. Nicely furnished apartment, everything you need. Good location.

Overall good location and amenities within walking distance. Was cramped for space and had narrow stairs to the rest of rooms which made it not so children friendly. Recommended for family less than 5. Understanding and responsive host.

Apartment is centrally located. Down side is we got alloted an apartment on the 3rd floor. The building has no lift. If one can live with that as well as noise from the street, apartment is well furnished and best part was the warm and friendly response from James

We booked a two bed apartment in Cambridge for 12 days, for my husband and daughter on a business stay.
The apartment was in excellent condition, regarding cleanliness, furnishings and utilities to make you feel at home. The manager, Seb, was fantastic to bring us couple of little things that we thought would be great to have. Perfect location with respect to University of Cambridge and numerous nearby shops for food, and entertainment. The neighbourhood was residential so very quiet and the WiFi fast, as advertised for my husband to work from there. We walked everywhere or rented bikes, and there was plenty of free street parking. Few nearby options for charging electric vehicles. It ticked all the boxes on paper but in reality it was even better!

Nice Appartment. Has everything you need for a stay. Very nice kitchen.
Clean bathrooms.

I guess it is a London thing, that everyone just put the trash on the street in this area (not so nice first impression outside).

A very good place to stay. Jenny described everything superbly and very well informed. Would highly recommend this place for your stay in London - simply incredible!
