I paid $149 for a 1 page web design upfront and was unaware or even told that there would be additional fees needed to move forward other than the $149 on April 4th 2025 I immediately requested a refund and told them we wouldn't be able to move forward. April 6th 2025 someone told me refund was issued. I've called over 6 times and they keep telling me the same thing and I still have yet to receive my refund. I'm 2 days away from 60 days with my money not returned for a service they did NOT provide. I keep calling and they tell me the finance department will contact me back and nobody contacts me back, they've told me 3 different times now my refund was processed yet the funds are not back in my account.

The price you pay doesn't include the source codes and files. They want you to host with them. If you want to host with a different provider, you have to pay an additional fee for the source codes and files. In their FAQ about ownership, they say this:
"Do I own my website?
Absolutely! Your website will always remain completely yours. However, if you need to switch hosting services for any reason, our team will make sure to provide you with timely, efficient assistance so that the transition process is absolutely hassle-free."
They fail to mention the addition charge. They also said that since it's not mentioned in the package you pay for, it's not included and you have to pay for it.
Stay far away from this company.

The team was responsive, professional, and really knew their stuff, Sebastian gave me great advice on improving my website's user experience, and the final product turned out even better than I expected. The site is well-organized, fast, and user-friendly. If you need a solid web design team at a fair price, these guys are the way to go.

Well. I Thought everything was going to be okay with this design company but I was wrong. This company starts off with the low cost website to real you in. Then they tell you that the products are necessary for the next step of the design. Which comes with a over priced payment for the next step. When you call them out they hide behind their email account and become major keyboard ninjas. After their failure to want to reimburse for a anything they definitely OVERCHARGE for i said screw it. They don't provide itemized receipts for anything you pay for. I eventually got tired of arguing with the d bag "PROJECT MANAGERS" and dropped the fight. I don't mind paying for services as long as I know what I'm paying for, when you question them they push harder understanding you don't understand web design. Corner you to make the payment. If you decide to use these clowns do yourself a favor and check out someone local to you that may care about a customer and customer service, the 2 clowns i had as manager definitely don't. They're just worried about the money and that's it. They use a design from a company they've already designed for also. STAY AWAY FROM THESES CLOWNS AND EXPLORE ALL OPTIONS

USA Web Design Expert is a complete scam. They present themselves as a professional web design agency, but their only goal is to take control of your domain, your website, and keep charging you while delivering nothing of real value.

They stole my domain, changed my site’s content without permission, and left it in such a state that Google flagged it as unsafe. I lost visibility, clients, and credibility because of their actions.

They never give you full access, they confuse you with technical jargon, and keep charging for “maintenance,” “renewals,” or “upgrades” you never asked for. Once they have control, you’re trapped. You can’t leave without risking everything.

Their entire business model is based on deception and manipulation. They make you dependent on them by registering your domain under their name and locking you out of your own online presence.

Do not hire them. If you already did, check who owns your domain, demand full access, and run before they cause irreversible damage to your business. Companies like this should not exist

The personal is knowable and professional, the representative I had the pleasure working with was determined to guide me to a place where I was satisfied. He also helped me to make decisions that long term benefits.

I loved that this was a USA company and English was their first language. I was very happy with the new design of my website. It exceeded all my expectations. Jeff explained things in a way that was easy for me to understand and he aimed to please my desires and goals for a beautiful website. I would highly recommend this company.

I contacted Iconix Web design knowing NOTHING about creating a website. I started with GoDaddy and was severely disappointed. Rick Sanchez not only worked very hard on my project but I subjected him to a LOT of changes during the development process. I CANNOT be happier with the final product and Rick made it happen with his knowledge and ability to explain and change as I was really not interested in doing in by myself as an amateur. It was a soup to nuts Job!
