THIEVES - holding furniture and about 20 boxes of household goods including medicine hostage for supposedly 7-14 business days when delivery was supposed to be same day, after forking out almost $3,000. Required additional $400 UNDER THE TABLE to put more stuff in the truck than just the boxes when it was agreed upon that everything would go in the first place. Called dispatch to find out the situation on the moving schedule and was cussed out! The person was so rude, said they would drop off stuff on the front lawn and refused to give money back. So now out both money and half of belongings. Moving 2 states away from where currently living, and now don't even have a bed to sleep on and no clothes, no kitchen wares, and no money. I WILL be calling the police.
This is the shadiest moving company I have ever worked with. We hired them for a move from San Diego to Austin, Tx and made it clear to them that we wanted our household goods to be delivered as soon as possible. Here we are 56 days from our belongings being picked up and they still refuse to give us a delivery date. After picking up our goods they have been setting arbitrary dates to push back the delivery window, the most recent being August 7th and saying that was the "earliest delivery date" we told them and that it would be 21 business days from that date. No. That was not what we discussed. It takes an hour to reach them on the phone and they are not helpful when you finally get a representative. They arrived late and jacked up the price once everything was on the truck, essentially holding you and your stuff hostage. At this point, we are unsure if we will ever see our furniture or household goods ever again. Please do not work with them and run far away from this company.
This company scammed me out of 1000$ deposit spoke with Kelly who said she will be able to help me with anything as far as the move she disappeared and was never reachable they then still tried to take my furniture and charge me 3000 more dollars just to move 8 PCs of furniture to find out it wasn’t even 8 PCs they have horrible customer service and would try to scam u into the contract do not book with them they are fake and live to take others hard earned money ! They had several ppl call me to pick up my furniture after I canceled and had a fake supervisor ghetto ass lady try to curse me out about suing them even laughed about me reading the fine print at the end of the email .. they need to be shut down
Deposit made in January 2021 and move cancelled within requested timeframe. Deposit taken same day but they will not issue refund. Company accounts payable has stopped responding to me entirely. I have been requesting my refund for nearly 5 months. BBB complaint resolved nothing. This is a horrible company with great customer service until you have to cancel for COVID. I’m out $1200. Use another company!!
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. US Pro Moving & Logistics refused to fulfill the terms of our moving contract and refused to refund our money. On 11/8/2020 we made an advance payment of $1,033.00 (of a total estimate of $2,686.12) to move 2,002 lbs of furniture. US Pro sent a subcontractor who arrived a day later than scheduled and demanded more than double the estimate to move said furniture, only after loading furniture on the truck. I refused to pay extra because it was evident there was ample space and offered to measure the space taken to prove that our items fit within the terms of the contract. I was told that if I were to step foot into truck, the items would not be moved. We thus refused to pay and our furniture was unloaded. US Pro systematically stymied our attempts to find and schedule a new truck that would move the furniture. It deflected our questions about their refund policy, dropped our calls during business hours after being placed on hold for over 100 minutes, as well as played “after business hour” recordings during business hours. It made little attempt to try to find us a mover who would agree to move our furniture for something remotely close to the agreed upon price. It never even sent us another truck. It stopped returning our phone calls, and thus it never moved our furniture. We have meticulously documented all our good faith attempts to reach out. We had to hire different movers, since we were unable to reach US Pro and never received a refund.
[FRAUD ALERT] US Pro Moving and Logisitics is a fraudulent company. These guys are brokers, NOT a moving company. I called US Pro Moving and Logistics for a moving estimate and Liz Parker gave me an estimate. She asked me about ALL of the furniture I am moving so I told her, she listed each piece in the contract, listed the estimated volume my furniture will take up in the movers' truck as 626 cubic feet, and quoted me a price. She took an advance deposit from me in the amount of $1077 on the same day to make the reservation. However, on moving day, when the moving company arrived, they said that the EXACT SAME FURNITURE that Liz Parker had mentioned in the contract will take up at least 1200 cubic feet of space, and they said I need to pay AT LEAST $2500 to $3000 IN ADDITION to the total balance on the invoice. I told them that this is the mistake of US Pro Moving and Logistics and the movers agreed with me. I told them that my furniture should be moved for the original price that I was quoted because it is not my mistake. They refused to provide me service so I didn't move with them. When I called US Pro Moving and Logistics to get my deposit back since it is the mistake of Liz Parker, they were extremely rude to me and REFUSED TO REFUND MY DEPOSIT OF $1077. I not only lost money, but also had to endure a lot of stress on top of the moving stress that I already had. Trust me! Do NOT give US Pro Moving and Logistics your business. You will regret it!!!! If you read other reviews, you will realize that this company has done the same thing to other customers too. YOU MIGHT BE THE NEXT ONE ON THEIR LIST! Give your business to another company. Again, THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT!!!
A NIGHTMARE. This company is unprofessional, unresponsive, and incompetent. Don’t waste another minute with them.
Do NOT give them your business! They will KEEP your deposit and not provide service since the actual movers/moving company will not agree with the volume/price quote US Pro Moving & Logistics gives you for the EXACT SAME FURNITURE/BOXES on moving day.
I signed a contract with them on January 18th 2021 and paid them a deposit of $622. I cancelled the contract within the 3 day revocation period as I did
not need their services after all. I was told that my refund would be processed within 30 business days. After many attempts to contact them with little or
no response, I finally (03/29/21) received a call from Frank that I needed to sign a refund request document. I did this and was informed via email that my
refund would be processed within 2 - 7 business days. I received an email from their accounts payable department on Friday 04/09/21 that my refund had
been approved and would be processed within 30 - 90 business days. This has been going on for far to long and I want my money back immediately,.
Due to an unfortunate job situation, we were forced to move last minute and chose this company. Knowing how stingy moving companies will get, we specifically went over the inventory multiple times to ensure we wouldn’t be charged more. We covered every. Single. Item. Including the number of boxes we’re going to have, and how many large ticket items we have - pretty much as detailed as a person can get over the phone. We specifically detailed a California king bed, 2 kayaks, a love seat, a 3 person seater couch, and 25 boxes. We were VERY specific. In fact, we fell UNDER the number of boxes we told them we had. We were then quoted a price, and were told a date and time.
First they said Tuesday between 11-2, and then on Tuesday they told us they won’t be here now until Wednesday. As always with moving, time is money and we specifically planned to leave on Wednesday after the movers came on Tuesday because we are on a time crunch to move. Wednesday rolls around and we waited between 11-2 and after receiving zero updates, WE had to call the company ourselves and they finally told us they would be there between 4-6. 5pm rolls around, still no update, so WE call the company again and they tell us they won’t be there for another hour. We essentially had to do their job for them, because they showed zero care or concern to update us. Not a single person called us first to give us an update. WE always had to call them. 630 rolls around and they finally show up. When we called the company and their members in charge of our move to complain, we were told “well what’s that going to do?”. So then we tried to call who, we were under the impression, was the “boss”, or a member of management we could complain too. We called 4 times, and every single time it went to voicemail.
To add onto this, when the movers arrived and took a look at everything we were quoted for, suddenly we’re not able to fit the bed, two couches, and two kayaks we SPECIFICALLY listed to the company and they had in their records as the items quoted. We were also emailed those records and those quotes. The bed, the kayaks, and the couches were listed. So what exactly are we paying 2200 for if that’s the price we were quoted for based on our DETAILED list of items? Let alone the fact we were UNDER the number of boxes we told them we had. And then the company has the audacity to tell us that if we want to put our couches, bed and kayak in the truck it’ll cost an extra 1500? What is the goddamn quote for when we specifically listed these items and then we’re told we have to pay more for them?
This is, by far, the absolute worst service we have ever received from a moving company.
They take zero pride in their customer service. In no way or form is this a complaint about the individual movers themselves. This is a complaint regarding the absolute despicable customer service we experienced. This company is solely about how to make the most money on a move. They made an already incredibly stressful situation significantly more stressful. They do not care that, due to their miscalculations, we had to get rid of major purchases and furniture to keep it at the rate already discussed. We are already running on an incredibly tight budget and at this moment in our lives, we cannot afford an extra 1500 for items WE WERE ALREADY QUOTED FOR.
To summarize , this company not only showed up a day after they told us they’d be here, they showed up 5 hours late, forcing us to entirely change our itinerary and cancel reservations (costing us even more money than they already have). Adding to it, we had to do their jobs for them because we had to call the company every single time for updates. When we called to complain, we were only met with indifference and nonchalance - they showed zero care for customer service. Adding further.... when the movers finally arrived, suddenly all the items we had been quoted for won’t fit on the truck unless we pay an extra 1500. This company forced us to leave behind valuable, big purchase items because we could not pay the extra 1500 - and frankly, we shouldn’t have had too. And because they showed up a day and 5 hours late, we had no time to find solutions regarding the items we were forced to leave behind and essentially throw away (the items that we were specifically quoted for).
All of that being said, absolutely DO NOT use this company. They do not care about their customers in any way or form, and they are solely just in it to get as much money from the customer as possible. They will GOUGE YOU for every single item. Their quote system means absolutely nothing to them, as they do not follow it or pay attention to it whatsoever. This company is a disgrace, and I will be sure to tell as many people as possible to never use this company. Thank you for making the last 48 hours a living hell.
This company is a scam. They should not be allowed to be in business anymore. We were quoted at $2800 for a move from CA to ID. The company they brought in counted 140 items and the total went from $2800 to $6900 plus $800 for shrink wrap, bubble wrap, and boxes. They ended up leaving. Justin from US Pro Movers said he talked with the company and they would do it for $3500. We agreed and they never showed back up. We called in regards to getting a deposit refund since no services were rendered. Its been a week now and they keep giving us the runaround. First they said call back in 73 hours amd then it was 24 hours. I called today and they said management was reviewing the file and it'll take 60-90 days to get an answer. Ill be contacting my lawyer. They prey off people trying to move and then get mad when you call them out on it. The company we ended up using charged us $3400 and the shrink wrap, bubble wrap, and boxes were free and they didn't count double the stuff we had. They were way under. This company just wants to screw people over. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!
Shady company and nonexistent customer service. I fell for their scam. I set up a move on August 24 to move from Denver to St Louis. John the salesman was very personable and slick. I put down $572 was told there would be a pickup on Saturday September 26 or Sunday September 27 and the move would arrive in St. Louis on Friday, October 2. Rebecca then called and verified my move. She said the carrier would contact me on September 23 to verify the move.
September 23 came and went. I was not called by any carriers or US Pro Moving and Logistics. I called both Rebecca and US Pro Moving and Logistics Customer Service on Friday, September 25 as well as all weekend. I did not receive a callback. I emailed John the sales rep and left a VM on his number. He never returned my calls. I texted and called Rebecca, she never returned any of my messages.
I was finally able to get a hold of US Pro Moving and Logistics customer service on Monday, September 28 at 7:30 am Denver time. They said they were trying to contact the mover and gave me the carrier’s telephone number.
I called the carrier out of Denton, TX, gave them the US Pro Moving and Logistics job number. They said they turned it down because US Pro Moving and Logistics underbid the job. Furthermore, they said they did not pick up on weekends.
I called back US Pro Moving and Logistics Customer Support and they said they were working with the carrier in Denton, TX. When I told US Pro Moving and Logistics that I actually spoke with the carrier, but the customer service rep at US Pro Moving and Logistics said the carrier would call me right back (this was at 8:40 am on Monday, September 28). I was assured that the US Pro Moving and Logistics Dispatch Manager had found a carrier and my move would be picked up on Monday, September 28.
I finally got a call from a Denver moving service at 9:10 am, he was apologetic and said he was just contacted by US Pro Moving and Logistics a few minutes prior. He said they would pick up my move but said it probably would be in storage for 21 days before it could be moved to St. Louis because they just found out about it today, Monday, September 28. The level of deception and false promises from US Pro Movers and Logistics surprised even me.
I again called the US Pro Moving and Logistics Customer Service back on Monday, September 28 at 9:43 am and they said the 21 days in storage was acceptable and was within the DOT spread, whatever that means. I was told multiple times by US Pro Moving and Logistics that my move would be picked up by a carrier, not a local storage company, right up until 9:43 am this morning, then the story abruptly changed.
I had to scramble and rent a U-Haul to move myself. That was my only option at this late stage because US Pro Moving and Logistics did not actually take any action on my move until I finally spoke with customer service on Monday, September 28. They had the bad taste to say they had no control over my moving dates as they are just a broker. I responded that there was no way for me to move last weekend as they did not even start working on my move until I called them at 7:30 am (Denver time) this morning. I deposit on August 26 and spoke with Rebecca on August 27 and was reassured my move would be picked up on Sep 26 or 27. They did not even start working on my move until Sep 28 and the earliest it would be in St. Louis was Oct 26, not Oct 5 as John and Rebecca promised multiple time. US Pro Moving and Logistics have proven to be a very deceptive, shady, and unresponsive company.
