We are very sorry to hear that you have not yet received the A4 samples that were paid for. We can’t see an email previously flagging this to us, so apologise that this is the first we are hearing of the issue.

Proceed with caution when it comes to V4’s Smoked White Oak products.
Whilst I was fully aware (and can accept) that there would be some variation in the colour due to this being a natural product, the variation on my laid floor is way beyond an acceptable tolerance.
My floor looks patchy and inconsistent, with huge variation in colour and finish plank to plank. Fair to say it’s a long way from the desired look. All too late now mind - a very expensive mistake.

Smoked products naturally exhibit greater variation in tone and character than non smoked floors, as the colour is achieved through a smoking process rather than a stain.
We recommend that installers always rack out a small area prior to full installation to allow client approval.
If the overall appearance is not approved at this stage, we are of course more than happy to accept the flooring back for a refund.
A very positive experience
The V4 showroom is very smart and well set- out, and you can see large samples of the flooring products, which are of excellent quality. Jon was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave us a lot of information about the products, as well as 4 well- sized sample pieces. Overall a really useful and positive experience.

Sales great, after sales rubbish
Sales person was great to talk to, sent samples and wasn’t too pushy, ordering was simple. When the product arrived it was a different colour to what we’d chosen, I called up and there was no apology they just said, must be a different coating used by the manufacturer, we’ll tell warehouse about it, I sent pictures etc and they agreed it was a different colour but still no apology, I did get the offer to send it back , however this would have put my build back a delay I couldn’t really afford. When laying I found a few boards that weren’t 100% square, this in turn started to throw out big sections of the floor, which I then took back up removed the board and relayed the floor, there must have been 8 boards like this in 22 square meters.
