What a bunch of criminals these people are. How a $100K investment with a $1 unit price can be devalued to a measly $0.03 per unit, over the course of 6 years or so is absolutely disgusting. How on earth can they claim, in a market, especially SEQ where house prices have gone ballistic, that their expenses have gone up so much. How can they rob people of 99.7% of their investment? This has to be illegal. DO NOT INVEST ANY OF YOUR MONEY WITH VENTURE CROWD. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD GO TO JAIL.

After months of empty promises and no progress on my withdrawal, Leinș felder took over and handled everything efficiently.

I invested in three separate opportunities with this company beginning in 2017. One investment is nearing redemption, but at a loss. The remaining two investments are still locked up, and interest payments have ceased.

Over an extended period, communication has consisted mainly of repeated explanations referencing economic conditions, without clear outcomes or timelines. This has left me with serious concerns as an investor.

Based on my personal experience, I would not invest again and would advise others to proceed with extreme caution. I regret not reviewing Trustpilot feedback before investing.

We are interested to know how Michael in his review on 15th November was able to state that Glenvale is now only worth 3 cents in the dollar.
From his experience with other VC investments I am sure this is correct.How can we verify this statement

Invested 200k for 12 months in 2021
These funds transferred to DIF fund even after several attempts at redeeming my money
Pimpama only received 16 cents in the dollar and case closed with no further communication allowed
Glendale now down to 3 cents in dollar value.
Glendale, 314 blocks will realise around 84 million dollars gross but no returns to invested with total loss of thier investment. Expanation " We have to pay our contractors". No mention of thier high "management fees". Be happy just to get my investment back and forget any interest etc but that will not happen.

Worst invest ment the Glenvale lost over 100k they said land has only gone up 21% but costs 47%so how do you lose 99%was robbed trying to get my money out for years no chance I read a review from venture crowd saying it's still worth the $1 but that's a lie they should be investigated for fraud and false advertising 1 star is to good for this robbing lot regards dave

I have invested with numerous platforms and companies over many years and have experience across a wide range of investments. Unfortunately, every investment I made through VentureCrowd has been a disaster.

The due diligence appears to be extremely poor, and in hindsight I regret assuming their vetting process was more thorough or reliable than it clearly was. That part is on me – I trusted the platform, and I shouldn’t have.

Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering putting money into VentureCrowd. Think very carefully before you invest anything. It appears now that the company itself is in fianancial trouble. No surprises here. What a disaster!

My $20000 investment is now worth $741, how could this happen to an investment in housing, when we are so short of housing in this country. My view is I have either been defrauded, or this company is suffering from monumental mismanagement. Advice to would-be investors - DON'T!!

The worst decision I made was investing with these crooks. Impossible to get your money out, my investment has been written down by 50%. I am invested in it the Development Income Fund, how can a company fail to make profit in a once in a generation real estate boom. Disgraceful company - ACCC needs to step in and investigate.

My investment with VentureCrowd has proved to be an absolute disaster! One investment has had a 100% loss, the others have been locked up for years with no better return than bank interest. Broken promises and complete incompetence keep rolling on, but hey, it's not their money they are losing as their management fees keep on rolling in! Do not trust or invest with these people, you will lose your money just as I have.

I have had $30k entirely written down and a further $80k still stuck years after the supposed redemption dates, with little or no interest payments. Absolutely the worst investment decision I ever made - AVOID.

Absolutely disgraceful company I lost almost my entire super fund to their property investment fund, do not invest with this company.

My first Investment was in 2021 for 24 months. still waiting.
My second Investment in 2021 was for 12 months. Still waiting.
My third Investment in 2022 was for 12 months. That was the best con of them all. Worth very little. Still waiting.

I don't recommend this business. The founder dashboard is clunky and difficult to use, especially when compared to other investment platforms that offer a much smoother and more user-friendly experience. Definitely not up to standard.

We invested in VC's Glendale development as it is an outer suburb of Toowoomba which we believe is a growth area in Qld. We were told the project was backed by a bank mortgage, which gave a sense of security. We were to be paid 15% on our investment.
later this amount was reduced to 9% when the development faced hardships, then we went to zero payments as the development struggled to survive.
Problems they faced were caused because VC did not check out all the council requirements properly e.g sewerage and drainage .They did not consider their duty of care to their investors. Not only were we not getting any payments from VC. we are unable to get any pension due to this investment . The CEO states he has has his own money invested , he knows how much we have invested but we do not know how much he has invested. While VC were trying to save the development large sums of money were spent on Advertising and high profile Real Estate agencies.
VC management fees were also paid.
When we visit Toowoomba we go and check the development out. It is looking progressive, with trees planted and a number of homes already occupied
An article by Canstar stated that VC are so successful they are looking to extend into Asia.
When I wrote to the writer of this article expressing my disappointment in the content of the article as it appeared to be relying on information supplied by the CEO and did not mention investors who were dissatisfied or projects that had failed. I did not get a reply. Is this where our profits are going, towards this aim of moving into Asia.
Advising investors that Crowd funding is a high risk
form of investment seems to be a banner behind which VC hide their lack of competence and lack of duty of care to investors.

Dishonest and corrupt company. Sent me an email for a pre IPO opportunity where they mentioned that this is a special opportunity to invest at 0.35 CAD pre IPO.

I deposited and then got a call from an agent called Greig who started overselling the proposal and said we have a sweetener for you and blah blah blah.

Then he said these calls are recorded and while talking about the sweetener, he very cleverly said that we will issue a special price for you of 0.45 CAD. Generally it’s 0.5 but you are special and all.

As I was well aware of the numbers and also could sense some sales BS from Grieg then I said I was offered 0.35 so why is it 0.45 now. He obviously acted surprised and asked me to send him that email which I had received and then went onto say the company had not accepted your investment yet so they have the right to reject it.

Choose if you want 0.45 or we can refund the funds. No apology from him and no explanation. Just an over smart attitude of take your money if you don’t like our conditions.

Such a waste of time and trust. Absolute cheaters and I hope people are careful dealing with such unethical companies.

Bravo to boffenpurls for successfully obtaining my money from these dishonest people. Their falsehoods and dishonest actions misled me.

I'd say it's the best platform out there for alternative investments. I have invested over many years and seen vast improvements to the platform and the level of different opportunities available. Their customer service has improved vastly as well. They’re a team of professionals that obviously care about their customers.

I love speaking with the team and the access to alternative investments that they provide, that form a part of my portfolio. They have made recent improvements to their online portal which makes it super easy to see my investments at a glance and great for tax time. I've also found them very helpful and friendly (especially Louise and Alison) on the phone when needed. I also get regular updates on my investments.
Investments carry risk, and lots of it. I only invest in opportunities where there is a clear exit opportunity, and I know what place in the capital stack I sit (and what my security is).
In the early stage companies I will evaluate what is offered and invest if I like it - I don't expect to win them all... in fact, I expect to loose in some. For me, what's what investing is. I just hope that I make the right bet on the one that 10x’s.
Really love the innovation and access to investments I wouldn't see elsewhere.

Returns to date have been excellent, communication good. Considering I've selected the projects and that the VC make no recommendations it kinda validates my approach to investing and assessment of their opportunities
