1. It's a paid service, and you have a minimum deposit of $2.50.

2. I used a Germany gold star phone number to get a number to activate a google account for $1.88.

THE REST:
- It's a good site if you actually use the gold star countries, which actually work 90% of the time.

- The silver ones have a low chance of actually working, and the ones with no stars have basically 0 chance of working. (which they basically tell you on their site)

- You have 15 minutes to use a phone number for your chosen purpose. And if a number doesn't work, you can just get your money back into your Veritel account by clicking on the “x” next to the phone number after 2 minutes.

- For actual refunds though, once you deposit money you can't refund it as they don't respond to email (and support[at]veritel.io doesn't exist) or their chat on their own website.

- TOS, Privacy Policy and Legal links don't work because *cough* *cough* reasons.

DO NOT BUY HERE! They are scammers. The numbers are not private, multiple people using the same number. They are liars and don't provide refunds. STAY AWAY!

Don’t use this service!!

There’s a good chance it won’t work for what you want (despite what the website says), and once you’ve paid, it’s apparently impossible to get your money back: I’ve emailed them, used their online chat — but they completely ghosted me.

Nothing works - No refund. Doing a bank chargeback right away

SCAM! This site doesn't work. The phone numbers don't work, and neither do the links for Terms of Service, Privacy, Policy, and Legal.
Also, I can't refund my money it's just pathetic.

This is a scam website. no text received from numerous sites and no customer service to answer questions.

The service that I wanted the number for was unavailable and i got an instant refund from customer service.

I have tried for the last 2 hours, but every possible number doesn't work at all. I have tried over and over again but it's clearly useless. This made me question whether the service is legitimate. So I bought another number, and used my own personal phone to send a message to it and it couldn't even recieve my message. Lastly, there's not even an option to refund the money or even anywhere that talks about getting your money ANYWHERE in the site. You are genuinely better off going to a shop, buying a new pay as you go sim and recieve the messages there, never mind, anything is better because this service doesn't even work at all.

TL:DR Phone numbers don't work, and you can't even recieve messages if you want to.

Starting a business with limited resources is hard. Really hard. Especially by signing up on platforms that require a US number. Veritel just solved that. I was skeptical at first because I'm not used to this kind of tool. But the Dany (Support) guided me through the setup.

Sounds cheesy but this tool helped me a lot. Hope this gets big!

Much better than other companies I've tried. I’ve had a higher success rate here and it’s easy to deposit credit because they use Stripe. The other sites always use unheard-of platforms to take my money.

Had some problems, but costumer support was really nice. It did all work out in the end. I have even got an actual full refund to my bank account.

Needed a number for Uber and this worked perfectly. I'll keep using this service because I can get multiple uber promotions. Customer support is also great, they answered my questions when I was confused.

Found this site from reddit. I would give it 4.5 stars just because sometimes I need to order 2-3 numbers for one to work, though you get a full refund automatically for what doesnt work.

The website didn't have what I needed, BUT the customer service rep was fantastic. They found a solution for me manually. Amazing service, I'll definitely be a returning customer.
