My car did not go into the workshop.
My car was recalled by Ford to have the airbag replaced it was booked into Vertu Kings Norton for Monday 27th April. I returned early back to the garage and my car had not moved from when I left it that morning so I waited for the work to be done. After two hours watching the car the garage called me to say that the car had just come out of the workshop and was ready for collection. No one had been near the car, I was given the key and no paperwork confirming that any work had been done.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry for the confusion and concern caused during your recent visit to Vertu Ford Kings Norton.
I’d like to reassure you that the Ford airbag recall work was fully carried out and the airbag was successfully replaced on your vehicle during its booked appointment on Monday 27th April. Our workshop records confirm that the recall procedure was completed in line with Ford’s guidelines.
That said, we recognise that your experience on the day did not give you confidence that the work had been completed, particularly as you were not provided with clear confirmation or paperwork at the point of collection. For that, I sincerely apologise. We should have ensured this was explained to you properly and documented clearly.
Your feedback has been shared with the service management team so that we can address how we communicate recall work and vehicle status with customers, to prevent this happening again.
If you would like, we would be more than happy to provide you with written confirmation of the recall work completed or discuss the visit in more detail to put your mind at rest. Please contact us directly and we will assist you further.

Vertu Motors in Kings Norton- brilliant service
Our local Vertu Motors in Kings Norton looked after us very well indeed. They sourced us the car which met all our requirements at very short notice. Changing cars.
I was looking to change my car and had seen the model I wanted at Vertu Darlington. I went to Vertu Kings Norton where Sam Siddique dealt with me and arranged for the car to be delivered to Kings Norton. Sam was excellent ,nothing was too much trouble and the part exchange and sale went through smoothly.All in all a very good experience.

I took my Daughter to Ford Kings Norton to buy a new car. Patrick Connelly dealt with us and all I can say is he was totally professional and friendly with it. No schmoozing us - told us everything straight and didn't hide anything from us. A thoroughly decent reassuring chap who you wouldn't think was a salesperson at all! The ease of buying a used car
Just bought a used Focus. Vertu King's Norton team were very helpful during this process. A special mention for Patrick, who answered all questions, went through all the gadgets on the car and sorted out all the paperwork. Made the process of buying the car and part exchanging my old car very easy.

Just picked up my car from Kings Norton had locking wheel nuts replaced as key not with car when we purchased it. Dean is a credit to your company - really helpful and friendly. I had a query regarding a notification on the car and he came out and checked it and gave me some advice.

Kings Norton Ford Motability Scheme
We got a car on Motability and we had it in a week staff and especially Bradley was very helpful and and understanding. I would recommend Kings norton Vertu Ford. They have gave me my freedom back after being House Bound waiting for operation Car was clean and I love it. It has everything I need to get me from A to B. Showroom was very good and comfortable
