Buying a Honda Jazz from Vertu Honda was a 5* excellent experience! I was nervous about driving an Automatic for the first time but the test drive with Ian Sykes was reassuring and his calm patient approach was exactly what I needed. I was uncertain whether to buy new or nearly new and he explained the payment options clearly and located an almost new Honda Jazz at another branch for me to consider.
The following day I asked for this to be brought to Exeter and, in Ian’s absence, Ben Miller was very helpful, going through all the necessary paperwork with me over the phone, explaining everything and answering all my questions.
In the coming days I was kept fully informed of the progress by email, text and phone and received a video of the car when it arrived.
The whole process was made easy for me by Ian Sykes and other staff at Vertu Honda Exeter. The deal was completed quickly and efficiently. Ian took particular care to make sure I felt confident and safe with an Automatic, even on the day I collected the car he offered a short test drive in case I had any further questions. I am delighted with the result and have already recommended Vertu Honda Exeter to a friend who is looking to upgrade her Honda Jazz!

Well, we found the car we were looking for so popped in to Vertu Honda and was made to feel welcome with no pressure at all. Tbh, dealer pressure in the past has made me feel uncomfortable and walk away but on this occasion, it was a totally different experience. I had already done all the research so knew what we wanted.
I was very relaxed and the salesmen and dealership knowledge was first class. I was welcomed by Ian Sykes at first point of potential sale then two other's on hand over to seal the deal. Best and most comfortable buying experience I've had. Thanks guys.

The car was good. All went well. The salesman, Ian, was not too pushy, much appreciated.

From the moment we arrived we were well looked after. We didnt expect to buy a car so quickly but Vertu had just what we were looking for and Peter our salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable. We paid a deposit on the Sunday and picked the car up on Wednesday. The showroom had a nice vibe. We had a couple of phone calls to make sure we were happy which is a nice touch. The young salesman, Celi, was helpful, friendly and made choosing the right car very easy. We had a smooth test drive and went through the purchase procedure with no issues. Celi kept in touch even after the car was delivered to make sure I was happy

I bought a used car from Honda Exeter. The sales executive took me for a test drive, was knowledgeable, listened well and helpful in finding solutions. My car was delivered to me because I could not collect it on the day selected and the handover was clear, all my questions being answered. Subsequent questions were dealt with promptly and helpfully.

When we first visited the Marsh Barton Vertu Honda showroom to look for a second hand car we felt that the sales person who we spoke to had little or no interest in us or what information we were after so we left. When we searched the internet we saw a car that seemed to fit what we were after, the issue was that it was at the Honda Marsh Barton showroom. After much deliberation we decided to try again, however if the same salesperson engaged us we would make our excuses and leave and go to the Plymouth showroom even that would mean a 30 mile journey. Lucky for us (and the Exeter showroom) we were approached by a young saleswoman called Shannon. Within the first minute we realised that her attitude was totally different to what we had previously experienced at the showroom. She was warm, pleasant and interested in us. The upshot of dealing with Shannon was that we ended up test driving and purchasing a car there and then. When we went to pickup the car a few days later her attitude to us was exactly the same. She was such a pleasure to deal with.

Everyone we came in contact with was friendly, but in particular Shannon was very knowledgeable and helpful and made the car buying process as easy and enjoyable as it could be. Even when there were problems at Hondas end she went above and beyond to problem solve and look after us. Would definitely recommend!

From 1st phone I dealt with Shannon who was very helpful and gave answers to 90% questions and phoned back with the other answers.
Shannon was very positive and pleasant.Great attitude and am sure she will go far!

I purchased a 2nd hand Honda CRV from Celi and he was awesome from start to finish. He was patient and not pushy, it was very refreshing dealing with a salesman like him.

We only went to see what was on offer with no real intention of changing our Jazz but met Brad Melish who explained there was a good offer even on used cars. Within a few minutes he had produced another Honda Jazz which was 3 years newer than ours, despite being the same colour. Before I knew what was happening we had agreed on a price for ours in exchange for this jazz. Brad is very persuasive & very helpful, he had sold us our first Jazz which we could not fault. We are now the happy owners of another Jazz.

Brad Mellish was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. He took me for a test drive which was a great help.

I decided to trade in my last CRV, when it went off the road unexpectedly. I needed a replacement car quickly and in just over a week, the new car was brought down from Derby and in my possession with everything squared away. Brad could not have been more professional, attentive or helpful and everyone bent over backwards to get me back on the road in my new CRV with a financial package that worked really well for me. All in all, an excellent service.

We spent over a week trying to buy a secondhand car. Our maximum budget was £12K. We found them very unhelpful, seldom returning phone calls, even when we had found the car we wanted. We were left with the impression we weren’t spending enough for them to be interested. We visited the showroom twice, spoke in the showroom to Reece and Ian, and to Jamie on the phone. I made 15 phone calls, and sent 5 emails.
We ended up buying elsewhere.

The service I received was first-class until I drove out with my new car. I couldn't wish for better. Highly recommended. Thanks, Brad.

Booked my Honda into Vertu Exeter for a service and MOT. The online booking system is clunky and I wanted to know more specifics so I tried calling them...
Finding the Exeter service department number was a faff as everything is centralised.
Arranged the service yesterday with a person who was friendly if rather inexperienced. When completed, I asked to be sent a confirmation email.
I was told that this would be sent. I then got an email directly from the individual that just said "Your booking is confirmed...".
So I replied "Which booking?". As this was not really a very helpful email!
No reply.
So this morning I rang Vertu again and got a stroppy person on the phone who did not listen to a word I said and treated me like an moron...
She told me there would have been an automated email confirmation. I explained that the email I received was clearly not this as it came from an individual email address and was missing vital information like location, date and time!
She was not listening, basically cut me off...
I explained something similar happened last year and there was possibly a system issue....
She was not in the least interested in this.
Altogether left me feeling quite irritated with the experience.
