They made the whole experience very painless

Incredible experience purchasing my new car from Hyundai Exeter! With a huge thank you to Andy & Ellie. They made the whole experience so smooth and easy, I couldn’t appreciate & recommend the dealership more!

Dan was absolutely brilliant, he was so helpful and welcoming from the get go.
I initially went in to look at the i10 but this didn’t suit my needs so Dan recommended the i20 which was absolutely perfect for me. The process was super straightforward and non confusing which is great. The car only took a week to arrive which is much quicker than I thought it would be. Dan kept me updated every step of the way I really cannot fault him.

We had a fantastic service from Andy Hallums he was very knowledgeable and explained everything. What we liked the no pressure selling he gave us all the information so we could decide and we went for the inster. Definitely recommend Hyundai Exeter and the fantastic service we received. Andy went the extra mile making sure he explained how everything worked with the car. Best experience we have had buying a car.

Very clean & slick showroom, Andy our sales rep was great as showed me a range of options for my budget, explained the operation of each car.
When I decided to buy explained the extras that was available with no pressure to purchase.
On handover explained all the functions, great service Thanks Andy.

Just purchased a used Audi from Vertu Hyundai in Exeter. Sent an enquiry late one evening, was contacted the following morning and put in touch with Chelsea in the sales department. She sent me a video of the car and arranged a drive for me the same morning! She was professional with a great personality and an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. If you are looking for a car I would recommend both Chelsea and Vertu Hyundai in Exeter. Thanks to all concerned.

I turned up to be told that they could do the service but it wasn't down for an MOT on the computer so they couldn't do it. I complained so they said that they would MOT it after all. I left the car with them for the day.
4 hours later I received a phone call telling me that they would now not MOT it as the engine light was on. They wanted me to pay £150 to do a diagnostic test and they would then book me in for an MOT the following week. I said that I would collect the car instead.
I turned up to collect my car and drove around the corner. There was no engine light on.
I drove it straight back to the garage and told them that the engine light was not on at all. They then agreed to do the MOT if I waited but it would be a long time. I live 15 miles away so I waited (not long). It passed.
I drove home and realised they hadn't given my car the complimentary Wash and Vacuum either.
No satellite update.
What an absolute shambles! I bought my car brand new from this garage and have always had any work done there. I am very happy with the car but will avoid this garage at all costs in the future.

The car was obtained and delivered in 3 days. Everything went very smoothly and Paul was very helpful during the buying process and hand over.

Really pleased with my Hyundai Tucson purchased from Exeter Hyundai. From start to finish Beth was available to answer questions, was polite, professional and very approachable. She even helped with the set up of the slightly overwhelming amount of tech in the car.

Dan, the salesman was friendly, professional, and never pushy at all. He took the time to answer all of our questions and gave us plenty of clear, helpful information about the car and its history. It felt like he genuinely wanted us to make the right choice, rather than just pushing for a quick sale. The whole process was straightforward and stress-free.
Dan took the time to lay out all of the purchase options on both new and used versions of our desired car, and allowed us to make the decision to purchase in our own time.
After making the decision to purchase the second hand electric Kona, Dan went through all of the car settings before we left the lot.
The whole experience was great and the Exeter team are super friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to either buy a car or who just want a bit of information.

Great service, excellent customer service, they couldn't do enough for us

We had a very good experience here buying our new car. The process was smooth and the salesperson, Sharon, was helpful, personable and not at all pushy. She made her recommendations, but did not pressure when it came to upselling, and was very knowledgeable about both the car and the buying process.
Her manager, on the other hand, was precisely what I expect of a used car salesman - sleazy, condescending and dismissive. We fortunately only had to deal with him a couple of times, but I really would advise avoiding him.
Our advise: avoid the manager, work with Sharon!

We only went for a quick look to confirm we didn't want to buy, but the whole experience was positive and informative we ended up buying a new inster. Sharon was very helpful with a wealth of information without being pushy which would have had us walking out. As first time EV buyers she had all the answers. The service guy Aaron answered detailed questions in an open and honest way. The sales manager Mathew was also helpful and attentive dealing with other matters. We really felt the team was on our side. Far from losing interest once the sale was made Sharon has been providing continued guidance in the week after delivery, explaining about fast charging. In this day and age such a customer focussed approach is very refreshing.
